^^ nice update! It is gaining in height - now almost the same height as the Monroe (which is a third of the total height).

As it's obvious, PT is rising.

In the pic Hassoun posted, there are two updates for you guys.
First, you see the plot of Dib and Town Tower enclosed. (back of PT)
Second, you see DAMAC has set an "enclosed tent" (white colour) as an office for promoting La Residence. (back of Dib and Town Tower plot)

After everything Lebanon has been through, it makes me truly happy to see projects like this. They are signs that the country is still prospering. :)

^^ Yes, the country has been through Hell and back (on more than one occasion), but Lebanon and its people always pull through the bad times and look ahead to better ones. The country has so much potential it would be ridiculous to give up on it.

They should maintain each culture´s traditional architectures...Agree to a point. Unless it is done 'properly', it can end up looking like a Disney attraction. Usually the interiors maintain traditional aspects though.

But, every major city ends up with the 'box' sooner or later. Nowhere can end up looking like Manhatten or Chicago BTW. lol

Currently, they have removed the green clothing from the ground floor till ~#25. They have installed all the necessary equipment which will be used to carry the facade. Moreover, window panes and sliding doors have been installed on the first 2 or 3 floors.

The design of the tower portion isn't particularly exciting aside from the relative height, but the low rise section is very nice, the materials appear to be top notch and the lighting scheme is great.
