The design isnt outdated. It looks good and it does its job. Let there be buildings like this to increase the contrasts between good and "bad" buildings.

This tower is soooo fat. If we couldn't see the floors, I'd say it is around 200-250m only. Should be very interesting with a better cladding.

I think the odd thing is...China usually builds flashy and occasionally tacky buildings. To see this effective corporate "tube" is a change compared to other talls in china.

This project got redesigned, and the new height is not qualified to supertall.
