Doha : Thu, 22 Mar 2007

The two-year contract has an estimated value to Hill of approximately QR9.0 million ($2.5 million).

^^ yes it's Barjeel Tower, it reached the 15th floor last time I saw it!
Actually the Bin Samikh design is really confusing to me! What is that thing in the middle? a tree? lool. And I dont understand what's that cylinder on the right side, does it start from the middle? Would really like to see other angles!

It does look rather confusing! I think its supposed to be a garden or terrace with swimming pool in it.

Tanmiyat Real Estate and Al-Rajhi Capital and Finance sign an innovative agreement for completion of five-star plus Swiss DeLuxe Grand Hotel in Doha.

Al-Rajhi Capital & Finance S.A. is accomplishing the financial facilitation through the high-yielding, fully-managed, hands off, low-risk buy-to-let investment mode.

It is now widely acknowledged that luxury hotel room investments are one of the best performing asset classes available currently compared to other volatile investment options. The luxury hotel sector is still in the booming stage. Swiss DeLuxe Grand Hotel & Executive Serviced Apartments are slated to be an ultra luxury business and residential hotel located right in the center of the city - El Dafna area of the West Bay - comprising 71 stories with 234 hotel rooms and 192 serviced apartments, with attendant ultra modern facilities and amenities.

The lifestyle hotel and residential apartments will be managed and operated by the Geneva-based Swiss luxury hotel management group Swiss-Attixs International Hotels Group (SAIH), reflecting internationally renowned Swiss hospitality culture and tradition.

Swiss DeLuxe Grand Hotel & Executive Serviced Apartments, as an asset class in Qatar, offer a guaranteed annual yield, capital growth and an annual accretion to the investor capital, with an easy payment schedule and at 50% of the actual price. The five-star plus Swiss Deluxe Grand Hotel is already under construction and is expected to open for distinguished and discerning guests by late 2010.

Project was re-designed to 42-floors and divided into two packages. The first package, which includes the enabling works, foundations and the civil and structural works until the ground floor was recently completed.

Phase II has just started with the mobilization of the contractor.

There were some rumours that the Client having some financial problems; but apparently the situation changed...

67 Floors will make it taller than the Kempinski, that means it will be the tallest building in West Bay! (of course Dubai Towers, and Barwa Tower wont be built anytime soon).

to be really high it should be 400m+ 67 floors dose not mean its the highest.

It looks nice but im not really sure they will be able to open if on summer 2012 its impossible (16 months) all the towers on west bay takes normally 18-26 months to be build + furnich which may take 2-6 months.
same as city centar hotels they start on building them on 2008 and we are on 2011 now and they are not open yet

The renders in the website are amazing! I am assuming something on par with La Cigale. I think 2012 for the finishing of the tower, if they start now. But, not the opening. Opening can take place in 2013.

Does anyone from Qatar know about this tower and Bin Samikh Group, especially a company called SBS. Are they known and trustworthy over there??? Something is strange with the way this building is going, and their sites are also strange. Can anyone give some detailed information about them... Thanks
