What is the scale of that project?
This is just extremely crazy what they do in China!
They just blasting the aerth away!!!

This project is so messy. According to some news, the tallest tower will be just 250m. Meanwhile, others say they'll build a 350m tower there.

I hope they don't destroy its current beauty. In fact, I would rather not have it built in this beautiful city, unless this city does what Paris does, create a special district for modern architecture, and the rest preserves its traditional landmarks.

What just happened?

They turned a very sophisticated project to a simple one. They are not even modern-looking design but more likely 90s design. I guess they are out of budgets for the other proposals then. :ohno:

OH PLEASE!!! Please return to the tower in the beginning with the spire. That was outstanding, I love how the spire is actually a continuation of the building not tacked on like NY times tower. There are a large quantity of canals there also, some parts appear like Venice.

Please do not touch this, it is amazingly beautiful.

I hope they don't raze the old city quarters like they did in Beijing. The old chinese architecture looks so quaint and liveable - with a little work of renovating :)

almost every histrical valueable buildings and tress are very strictly protected in china. trust me. yes china do demolished a lot of old houses, but most of them are just slums, no histrical value. in beijing.
on topic, shaoxin is a tiny city, but economy developed fastly!

That crown is really striking! I love the layered yet sharp appearance. The other towers are quite bland though. :(

IMO it looks totally out of place in this small city that still mostly consists of quaint canals and small white houses, despite the fact that they constructed it in a new CBD outside of the city.
