latest is Australia's Enviromission is set to build 1km tower in El paso and may start this year!! thats taller then Burj Dubai!

It's in Spain too but is using different technology and is not so big. From the video it looks like they are building more of these towers.

I can't even begin to imagine something like this. WOW, that is super tall! :)
