The Fact
The octagonal plan of the 169.5 meters tall building and the dark, 41-storey, all-glass facade contrast with the neighbouring high-rises: the stepped limestone of the 120 Wall Street and the black and white grid on the slab of the 88 Pine Street

Chad June 22nd, 2003, 03:50 PM ...Green glass curtain wall is reflects the classic and 70's styles surrounders. The setbacks on top are seems to not really matter at first, but if you look carefully, those are the most important part and gives the unpredictable pattern of it. Never the less... that hugh cubical on the top is such a sophisticated crown....;)...8/10

DamienK September 21st, 2004, 08:23 PM Well there's Tower 49, with a "prong" sort of plan shape when viewed from above, and the Park Avenue Plaza - its plan shape is a square with a triangular section sticking out from one of the faces. Both of them are covered with lots of green glass.
I give this building 7/10. The black plantroom box kind of spoils it.
