A nice looking city. But like many other South American cities, it lacks a strong central core, a focal point, or much in the way of stylistic variety in its highrises. It seems rather mundane overall. The nice natural setting certainly helps though.

Qual é a previsão de crescimento demográfico em Cuiabá nos próximos 20 anos?

The city is growing really fast with the migration, specially from South and Southeast regions (PR, SP, SC, RS, MG) and immigrants from USA, Germany, France and Britain.

The city made an annoucent last year the the pop. of the city was arround 600.000 and the suburbs are growing even fast, in special Varzea Grande (300.000) and Chapada (lots of foreigners).

Yes, it is a nice place to live, the climate is hot, but nice, today in a Summer day we have 19ºC, but the months of Sep to Nov are quite hot with temperatures of arround 40ºC, the criminality can be found on some peripherical neighborhoods, but overall is a safe place, nothing compared with Rio or Sao Paulo.

The weather is pretty nice for agriculture with even 3 cropes per year, this is attracting several investors from soy (North Americans) to grapes and wine (Frenchs).

No real downtown core area, and most of the buildings are ugly. I give it a 6/10 for the density though.

Wow,, I was so impressed to find out that there are big beautiful and organized cities like this in the middle of the rain forest! When I was in Sao Paulo last year I was even more impressed! what a city!

I find the city somewhat lacking in variety and personality. True, there are quite a lot of 30+ scrapers, but they're all very similar to each other. Also, I don't see much in the way of corporate buildings. 5.0.
