October 1 will see the celebration of 60th anniversary of People's Republic of China. Could we have a banner contest for the celebration?

Anybody can use photoshop, paintbrush etc to create his own banner and we will vote for the best. We have plenty of photos in this thread to use. The banner dimension should be 719 x 123 pixels.

But it has to be 719 x 123 pixels, otherwise the adminis wont accept it. Also you have to remove the watermark (the 无尽的爱纪念网 thing).

The Wuxing Hongqi and the Tian'anmen would do, just leave out the Renmin Dahuitang. :D

Great job! The banner is amazing. One thing I wanna stress is that "China" should be "P.R.China" (1949-2009). There is Republic of China still there. If ROC is taken into account, the time period shouldn't be from 1949.

That's a great banner. I like it myself. I can help submit but there are rules that no text (inlcuding Chinese text) is allowed in banners, so i don't know if this one can be accepted by Jan or not.

I think it's better to just submit the Shanghai banner as it is without photoshop. The clean crisp blue sky makes any photoshopping look fake. And it won't rate well amongst forumers.

This one is pretty recent with IFC in the middle and street lamps on both sides. Almost perfect as a banner (by adding Shanghai tower it'll be perfect :) )
