Angeles University Foundation Medical Center

The Angeles University Foundation Medical Center (AUFMC), located at MacArthur Highway, Angeles City, Philippines, was blessed and inaugurated on February 23, 1990 and was opened to serve the community on May 25, 1990.
Through the hospital loan program of the Social Security System (SSS), a soft loan of P35 million was obtained to finance the construction of the six-storey concrete building, payable in 20 years. This was
front facade of AUFMC made possible through the efforts of SSS Administrator, Mr. Jose L. Cuisia, Jr. To finance the acquisition of various hospital equipment, P16.5 million bridge financing loan was granted by the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), upon recommendation of DBP Chairman, Dr. Jesus P. Estanislao. Additional equipment, furniture and supplies were received as donations from ten (10) hospitals in California, USA. Furthermore, AUFMC won the bid in the acquisition of the entire 300-bed St. Anthony Family Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which was foreclosed for financial reasons.
With this background, the AUFMC has become the first and only private teaching, training and research hospital north of Metro Manila, duly licensed by the Department of Health, with an authorized 150-bed capacity. It offers Residency Training Programs in the Departments of Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Surgery, and Pathology & Laboratory Medicine. Furthermore, it serves as venue for the clinical exposure of the students of the AUF Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Allied Medical Professions (Medical Technology, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy).
A service-oriented hospital, the AUFMC has a Service Ward which provides free room accommodation with meals, free professional fees, free basic Operating/Delivery Room fees and maximum discount on medicines, supplies and diagnostic work-ups. Majority of its indigent patients are victims of Mt. Pinatubo’s eruption in 1991 who are referred by the Barangay Social Workers assigned to the different Resettlement Areas while others are referred by the Angeles City Mayor’s Office or partly subsidized by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.
Organized as a stock corporation in 1986, the AUFMC was converted into a non-stock, non-profit medical foundation through the amendment of its Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on November 6, 1998 under SEC Registration No. 130921.

 basta aku angelian ku ngeni thomasian na...
naasar lng ako sa Holy angel Univ. the last time i went which is 3 yrs ago pa (sa loob ha..) ayaw ba naman akong papasukin. anong use ng pagbibigay nila ng alumni card kung di rin pala pwede gamitin...haaay!!! tapos that year lng ako nag graduate ng highschool... :D
zelrich82 November 11th, 2006, 04:10 PM there's nothing wrong with the schools in Angeles, all of them have good teachings and courses to offer; it's up to the person what he/she is going to get out of it. e ta la dapat i-compare, male mu teacher pala ing prublem about the teachings; ala ne mang prublem ing school. megaral ku naman keng Holy kanitang HAC ya pa, electrical gingineer ne man ing kukwanan ku sana; but i had to leave. and if thomasian is what you would call somebody from UST, that too is a good school; that's where my better half finished psychology, but she can't out-smart a gizmo-geek. and my high school, well i went to RCC (republic central cabaret); that's what they used to call it back then, hope that changed.
zelrich82 November 11th, 2006, 04:17 PM ;10429875']di ba sa Angeles ang origins ng SISIG? ano pinagkaiba nun sa ordinary sisig?
the difference is - that the so-called ordinary sisig did come from pampanga, ang ibat-ibang style na lang ang ginagawa sa ibang lugar trying to copy the original (secret) recepie. don't ask me what that recepie is, it's so secret - i don't even know it.

Ang alam ko Sisig as we know it today ay iba sa Sisig noon.
How did I know? we used to co-owned the Aling Lucing's Sisig in Robinson Starmills pero sa pinsan na ito ngayon ng step-mother ko.
Culiat November 11th, 2006, 08:03 PM From Wikipedia
Sisig is the Kapampangan term which means to snack on something sour. It usually refers to fruits, often unripe or half-ripe, sometimes dipped in salt and vinegar. It also refers to a method of preparing fish and meat, especially pork, which is marinated in a sour liquid such as lemon juice or vinegar, then seasoned with salt, pepper and other spices
Sisig as is popularly known today is actually sizzling sisig, a Philippine dish made from parts of pig’s head and usually seasoned with kalamansi or chili peppers.
The dish is said to have originated from locals who bought unused pig heads from the commissaries of nearby Clark Air Base. Pig heads were bought cheap since they are not used in preparing meals for the U.S. Air Force personnel stationed there. However, a more accurate explanation is just an innovation on the old recipe, which is pork ears and jowl, boiled, chopped then marinated.
The pig's head is first boiled to remove the hairs and to tenderize it. Afterwhich, it is chopped and grilled/broiled. It is then fried with onions and served on a sizzling plate.
Variations of sisig can add any of the following: eggs, ox brains, chicharon (pork cracklings), pork or chicken liver, and even mayonnaise.
Recently, local chefs have experimented with ingredients other than pork such as chicken, squid, tuna and even tofu, which brings sisig back to its origins.
zelrich82 November 11th, 2006, 10:33 PM if that's how the sisig got started, i'll bite; it makes sense. i thought it started sa crossing, or did they just popularized it; anyway it's really damn good with beer.
and tungkol sa white hooded lady of AUF, if real - cool. we need something to keep our mind pre-occupied with things that could be interesting, i'd like to experience it though; we shouldn't fear something that could not do any physical harm to us, we should be wary about people that could.

Ah oyta, very very OK naman sa AUF ngayon. May bago nang Professional Schools building, yung Sidegate pareho paren, yung AUFMC bagong pintura, may bagong ipatatayong 10-storey medical building, lumiit lalo yung gym, bawal na lumabas sa front gate before 5pm, may overpass na from PS to Main Building, may fences sa harap na nagdidivide sa road, may Jolibee at GoNuts Donuts sa tabi-tabi, uso yung Japanese Cakes, yung Cultural Competitons lalong mahal, yung The Pioneer lugmok sa eskandalo, di na OSAA OIC si Ma'am Soriano, ayun basta dati paren, mas GLOBAL nalang sila ngayon, daming Koreano eh.
BSIT>> Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

My lola (former City Tourism Officer and headed the first years of Tigtigan) and My dad (na kabilang sa mga nag-conceptualize at nagpatakbo ng Tigtigan) are both dismayed by the failure of Tigtigan. Kasi naman ma-epal ang mga nagpapatakbo ngayon ng Tigtigan na sila ring mga epal na nasalikod ng pamumuno ni Tarzan. Thanks to tita Janet and IC nag-flop ito.

that's what i thought it was, pero i wasn't sure. 'coz "tigtigan" means music playing whether live or not, pero kung outdoors yan - live ba ang band. san sa balibago ginagawa? taga 3rd street ako date, but that was years ago. if it was like a fiesta type of celebration, balibago could still have their own tigtigan version; barrio style. kelangan lang talaga ng organizer, change the name and make it interesting; just don't do it at the same time sm is doing theirs, kase baka ma-zero sa guesting (less crowd ba). nakaka-inggit naman, anong month ba ginagawa yang tigtigan? para ma-experience ko naman.

Actually all these years she was just waiting for something to spark it up. So yun she found a way to launch a black-propaganda against my dad with all these false accusations. I mean my dad was the one who taught them how to best serve the public.
I also asked my dad na "why not expose what he knows" eh napagalitan pa'ko, sabi niya eh kawawa naman daw yung mga maliliit na empleyadong maapektuhan (which is true). At the end kapakanan pa rin ng mga tao iniisip niya. Kaya eto kami ngayon, step-mom ko saka sister eh nasa pinas. Ako andito kasama mom ko and family niya.
Culiat November 14th, 2006, 02:10 AM About Tarzan, you won't even see him at his office. Nakakapasok ako dun thru my dad's office, from the back-door of his office I sneek to the conference room and from there I proceed to Tarzan's office. eto sinamahan ko pa ng sketch hehe...
Yung green eh yung route ko from my dad's office. Sometimes pag wala si tita Janet eh dun ako sa red route dumadaan hehe...

pwede ba akong mag-inquire sa mga peeps todits - if anyone knows of a nice real state area sa balibago/angeles, more on balibago (my roots ba). meron akong tinitignan noon sa papuntang sapang maisac, the subdivision is called Punta Verde and it's situated east from the super highway of the Angeles exit (right side of the freeway going to dau). i'm looking for something at a reasonable price... or if there's a webpage i could go to (within angeles city only), that'll be great. dakal salamat.

More youth in C. Luzon involved in drug use, sex: group
By Joel P. Mapiles
Sun Star Pampanga
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- In Central Luzon alone, more young people aged 15 to 24 years old -- who constitute 19.6 percent of the total youth population -- are engaged in different risky activities such as smoking, drug use, and sex.
This was revealed during the Regional Pag-asa Youth Associations of the Philippines (PYAP) Assembly, which was attended by more than 600 out-of-school youths (OSYs) from Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Zambales and other cities in the region.
The report was based on the Young Adult Fertility and Sexuality Study (Yafs 3) conducted by the University of the Philippines Population Institute (UPPI) and Demographic Research and Development Foundation (DRDI) with funding assistance from Lucile Packard Foundation (LPF).
The regional assembly of the OSYs with a theme: "Ikaw, Ako, Tayong Lahat, Magtulungan para sa Ikauunlad ng Kabataan," was spearheaded by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) regional office led by Regional Director Margarita Sampang and Assistant Regional Director Adelina Apostol and PYAP focal person Elena Carreon and regional information officer Evelyn Manalo.
During the open forum, it was bared that pre-marital sex (PMS) activities increased from 16.3 to 21.4 percent, with the activity higher among males and among members of the older aged 20 to 24 years old. PMS among young males increased from 24 percent in 1994 to 29 percent in 2002. The figures for females rose from nine percent to 16 percent.
Mayor Oscar Rodriguez, who graced the occasion, urged the youth to mirror themselves and give change a space for their future.
"You should instead focus yourselves on doing worthwhile activities such as giving priority to education and productivity," he asked the youth.
He told the OSYs that he was once a poor boy from a barrio who took poverty not as a barrier but a challenge to become successful in life and to go for progress.
Because of his desire to help the young, Rodriguez said he initiated a scholarship program for the OSYs who belong to the poorest of the poor. He said these OSYs are now attending night classes.
He noted that the importance of education as being the key to change and a brighter future. He advised the youth to strengthen unity and camaraderie among their associations to ensure success in all their undertakings.
Sampang, for her part, urged the OSYs to become more productive. She advised the youth to empower themselves through their collective efforts in decision making as she also encouraged them to share for the improvement of their group.
She also challenged the youth to actively involve themselves in the undertakings of their organization.

With the destruction of the most ancient town of Bacolor, the cultural and historical seat of the entire Kapampangan Nation, and the looming precariousness of the economically booming town of San Fernando - Angeles City's sure safety from Mount Pinatubo's destructive mudflows has finally put her into focus: Would she now take upon her shoulders the honour of becoming the seat of Kapampangan culture?
It is the unfortunate gift of citihood that Angeles has become politically and economically separated from Pampanga. A growing number of young Añgeleños have come to understand this as an essential separation as well: That Angeles must severe its ties from the rest of Pampanga; and that her identity should no longer continue to remain Kapampangan.
But Angeles City's political separation is not a separation of essences, but a mere accident of being: The heart and soul of Angeles was and is essentially Kapampangan. Political separation does not entail ethnic and cultural separation.
Geographically speaking, Angeles City lies at the very heart of the Kapampangan Nation, a nation whose influence stretches from the barrios northeast of the town-capital of Tarlac all the way down to the coastal barrios of Mabatang and Calaguiman in the towns of Samal and Abucay of the province of Bataan.
Sun Tzu's Art of War states that to effectively destroy a kingdom one must attack it not only from without but, most importantly, also from within. The Kapampangan Nation has constantly been under attack from without.
At the coming of the Spaniards, the Kapampangan Nation occupied almost the entire stretch of the Central Plains of Luzon. Then, throughout the centuries, provinces were carved out of her vast territories: Governor-General Simon de Anda gave the lands of Burakan and Tundû to loyal Tagalogs displaced by the Brittish invasion of and eventually became the province of Bulacan; Another governor-general carved out the entire province of Nueva Ecija to become his own personal hunting ground; Bataan was separated so as to facilitate the governance of its west coast; and Tarlac was organised as a commandancia politico-militar to pacify the northern frontiers and eventually became a separate province.
The Kapampangan Nation was finally reduced to a tiny province and a few scattered towns. Yet the assault continues from without. In a population survey conducted in 1980, the number of Kapampangan speakers dwindled to about 66.7 percent in Candaba and to 74.5 percent in Tarlac, Tarlac. The survival level of a language group in a given area is seventy five percent.
But the assault from within had already begun. The number of Kapampangan speakers in Angeles City in 1980 was only 76.8 percent. The number continues to decrease. If the Kapampangan Nation is to survive, it must prevent an attack from within. If the core caves in, then the rest of it crumbles until it totally disappears.
One sensible move is to pass a legislation declaring Kapampangan as Angeles City's official language. Another is to encourage the revival of her rich Kapampangan cultural heritage in schools and the local media.
Angeles City owes it not to the province of Pampanga alone to remain Kapampangan; Angeles City owes it to the entire Kapampangan Nation to remain Kapampangan; To the Kapampangans fortunate enough to remain here, and to the unfortunate Kapampangans shipped to the Visayas, Mindanao, or even abroad.

taksiapo November 17th, 2006, 04:39 PM A BETRAYAL OF HOPE
Clark Airforce Base was the paradox of love and hate in the heart of the Kapampangan Nation. Kapampangans, especially those from Angeles and Mabalacat, loved it because it gave them jobs, goods, cash, and style; But most Kapampangans hated it because it was an abomination.
It was an abomination because it was a mighty alien fortress within a host nation that can not defend itself.
It was an abomination because it was a nest of giant cash-wielding, free-spending kabalat kapáyâ foreign monsters who could afford to have a goodtime amidst the widespread suffering and poverty of its short raddish-skinned host.
It was an abomination because it was an infringement of the Kapampangan's sovereignty: It was a foreign base on Kapampangan soil!
So, inspite of all the tears shed on lost jobs, lost cash, lost goods, and lost style when the Americans finally pulled out in November of 1992, there was also an equal if not a greater amount of relief and hope for the Pinatubo ravaged Kapampangan: "Salamat at misublî ne quecatámu iñg Clark!" At last, Clark is ours again!
But to which Kapampangan does the "we" in that word "ours" refer to? The old rich families like the Hensons of Angeles and the De Guzmans of Mabalacat who still claim to have titles to the land grabbed by the Americans, or the poor ancient Aita families who swear by Apung Namalyari Kûn Támu that the land was theirs since time immemorial even before the rich Angeles and Mabalacat gentry grabbed them with pieces of paper signed by the court in unintellegible Spanish?
For most Kapampangans however, Clark, with its vast tract of potential agricultural lands and well furnished housing areas, was the perfect resettlement site for all the lahar ravaged Kapampangan Families of Bacolor, Porac, Angeles, Mabalacat, and Bamban. It would have been the ideal womb for the rebirth of a new and prosperous Kapampangan Nation.
That hope was sooner betrayed. Clark was not to be in Kapampangan hands; Not to the old rich Families of Angeles and Mabalacat, not to the ancient Aita families who swear by Mount Pinatúbû, and most especially not to the thousands of lahar ravaged Kapampangans.
While the rest of the Kapampangan region slowly died of hunger, disease and homelessness, Clark was looted, rumours have it, by domestic foreigners in Philippine Airforce uniforms.
While Kapampangans were forced to lived in tents without decent sanitation, water or electricity, these domestic foreigners in uniform lived with their families in the comfort of the US furnished base housing units, with clean water and free electricity.
While thousands of Kapampangan families were forcibly torn from the embrace of their Indûng Tibuan so as to be resettled in the jungles of Bukidnon and Mindoro, these domestic foreigners in uniforms hauled in the rest of their families from the Visayas or the Ilocos to live off Clark.
What Gordon did to Subic, the mayors of Mabalacat and Angeles could not do. When the Tagalog government in Manila put Clark under the management of the Clark Development Corporation [CDC], the Kapampangans, or what is left of them after the forced diaspora, were again promised new hope. The new Clark was to generate new jobs.
The first thing the CDC did however was open up duty free shops which maimed the surviving local economy. As a coup de grace, the next thing it did was import non-Kapampangan labour.
Clark was once a paradox of love and hate in the heart of the Kapampangan Nation. Now, all it could be is a paragon of hate. For Clark remains an abomination. It is not only a symbol of the betrayal of the hopes of the Kapampangan Nation, but all the more, it remains a foreign base within Kapampangan soil.
Keep Kapampangan lands in Kapampangan hands!

taksiapo November 17th, 2006, 04:42 PM Kapampangan ya ing Angeles!
The number of Kapampangan speakers in Angeles City continue to dwindle through the years. The 1980 census listed the number of Kapampangan speakers to only about 76.8 percent. The survival level of any language group in a given area is seventy five percent. No new surveys have yet been made recently but the results may only be too obvious.
It is an obvious fact that Angeles City's population is teeming with a great variety of foreigners, both international and domestic - Australians, Germans, Ilocanos, Visayans, etc. - who contribute hugely to the coffers of the government. For the sake of cosmopolitanism, local economists and politicians argue, Angeles City must inevitably shed her Kapampangan Identity.
But cosmopolitanism, if it were to become a reality, can not just remain floating in midair. It has to take firm root; rooted to the very ground and culture of its given area. Cosmopolitanism, if it were to become real for Angeles City, has to be firmly rooted to her distinct Kapampangan Identity.
Local businessmen and politicians here envy Olongapo and Subic for their miraculous recovery. If Angeles has to have an edge over Subic and Olongapo's scenic beaches, these would have to be her colourful history, her people's distinct character, and her rich Kapampangan Heritage. Olongapo and Subic have no cultural heritage to speak of but faded lust, abandoned half-breeds, and Gordon.
Local businessmen and politicians here marvel and ape Cebu's economic boom. Unknown to them, the Cebuanos have no one else to thank but their own stubborness to remain Cebuano as well as the unique way they used their cultural heritage as capital. If anyone else in the Philippines had successfully copied the Japanese in utilising culture and identity as capital to boost their economy, the Cebuanos would be it. Despite her cosmopolitanism, Cebu remains solidly Cebuano. Her artificial market economy would never have gained ground were it not for its distinctive Cebuano flavour.
In contrast, Angeles City's businessmen-politicians are no longer the hard working, patient, farsighted Kapampangan entrepreneurs of the past who were deeply rooted to their Indûng Tibuan, but are now of the new breed of flotsams - shortsighted, fastbuck opportunists out for a quick and easy profit - which litter the entire Philippine business scene. Unpatriotic and self-serving, these businessmen-politicians continue to import cheap Visayan labour inspite of the increasing number of their unemployed cabalen. Self-serving because these cheap imported Visayan labourers are valuable added voting assets.
The new breed of Angeles Kapampangan is a little bit of a show-off, yet ironically, he is well too easy to please his thankless foreign guests. Never mind if speaking Cebuano is a must to get efficient service in Cebu, or speaking Tagalog if you were in Manila, or speaking Ilocano in Baguio (plus an added stabbing or beating if you are caught speaking Kapampangan), in Angeles City, the Kapampangan Añgéleño speaks the language of the guest...You don't have to learn Kapampangan! Is this being too civilised? Or is it subservience? If the Kapampangan Añgeleño has to learn anything from history, it would be the dictum that made Rome, the most cosmopolitan of all ancient cities, great: "When in Rome, do as the Romans do."
Kapampangan ning Angeles, magpa-Kapampangan kayu!

taksiapo November 17th, 2006, 04:48 PM Gabun-Daî-Amánu: Trinitarian Elements of Kapampangan Identity
Like the losing pieces on a checkerboard, every rainy season cascading mudflows eat up one historic Kapampangan town after another. If there was one thing that would dampen the Kapampangan's proverbial sense of superiority, this would have to be it.
The Kapampangan was never the same after Mount Pinatubo. In rehabilitating the lahar-ravaged region, some government and non-government agencies thought it best to transplant thousands of lahar-stricken families to Mindoro, the Visayas, and Mindanao. A congressman from one of the Kapampangan districts countered that this action would kill the Kapampangan rather than save him. Yet how could the measure be tantamount to killing when it was obviously meant to save lives? So the agencies went on with their projects. Kapampangan families were sent to Mindoro, Bukidnon, and, as the Abu Sayyaf confirmed, to Basilan. Perhaps the comment was just another ploy in the never-ending game of politics.
Kapampangan is an ideology. The name was derived from the vernacular pangpangan which roughly means "the river banks," and ka- which is used as a prefix to denote immensity, as in the words kabuntuk and kayárung [árung being "nose" hence "having an immense nose"]. Roughly translated, Kapampangan means "Greater Pampañgan," which would include portions of Tarlac, Bataan, Nueva Ecija and Bulacan.
However, the term [b]Kapampangan is applied not only to the name of the place, but the people and language as well. Indeed, it is this trinity of Indûng Tíbuan [gabun/land], Daî [tau/people], and Amánung Sísuan [amánu/language] which make up the Kapampangan identity. These three elements are inseparably one and the same. To take one from the other would yield not a Kapampangan.
To demonstrate this metaphysical concept: To a full blooded Kapampangan, a person who speaks Kapampangan who is not of the race nor of the land is nothing more but an overstaying alien; The latter is not qualified to be a Kapampangan. In another instance, a person who is of the land and of the race but can not speak Kapampangan disqualifies himself. As a few fullblooded second generation "Kapampangans" living in Manila proudly declares in Tagalog: "Ang tatay at nanay ko Kapampangan pero kami Tagalog na." Our parents are Kapampangans but we are now Tagalogs.
Kapampangan is an ideology. The congressman was right in one way. The concerned agencies may be saving lives, but they are not saving the Kapampangan. By uprooting the Kapampangan from his Indûng Tibuan, they are unwittingly extracting one essential element of his identity. One of these elements can not be without the other two. By uprooting the Kapampangan from his Indûng Tibuan, they are unwittingly destroying his identity. The destruction of his identity is the destruction of the Kapampangan.
Whose lives are being saved then? Kapampangan lives? When a Kapampangan is sent to Mindoro, Mindanao, or the Visayas he brings with him the language of his birth but it will eventually be demanded of him to use the language of the new place. His offsprings would eventually find no need to keep using Kapampangan. In the succession of a generation or two, the new environment shall have completed its work in destroying the Kapampangan strain. What we will have are a breed of Visayans sporting surnames like Macapagal, Lapid, Manaloto, Galura, Lacsamana, Tayag, or Pamintuan.
If Mount Pinatubo does not let up with its havoc, and if the ultimate solution for the Kapampangan is egress, then the Kapampangan would finally cease to be.

taksiapo November 17th, 2006, 04:55 PM KALADUA: Root of the Agrarian Problem in Pampanga and the Essence of Kapampañgan Nationalism
The Kapampangan has always been touchy when it comes to the question concerning land. His history has been marked in blood by social unrest that has its roots in the agrarian problem. Even now with the eruption of Bunduk Pinatúbû, thousands would rather have themselves buried in lahar than be removed from their lands. As a result, both past and present, the Kapampangan region has always been a thorn in the national government's backside.
So what is it about land and the Kapampangan? The answer is simply found in his long forgotten cosmology, in the question dealing with the nature of his soul, his kaladua.
The word kaladua is derived from two Kapampangan words: kala, which simply means soul, and aduâ, which means two. The Kapampangan believes that he is in the possesion of twin souls: one being his personal soul which could be removed from his body at will - to mangalug as when one is hungry, to travel at night and hurt one's enemies as in the case of the powerful mangkukusim, to visit ones relatives in the form of the kambubulag when one is near death, or simply travelling when one dreams - , the other being the soul of the land which sustains him in life but returns to earth at the moment of death.
The ancient Kapampangan believed that when a person dies, if he is good, his personal soul goes to the White Rock on Bunduk Aláya and become one with Apung Sinukuan; His other soul would return to earth and strengthen his mother, his Indûng Tibuan.
Simply put, the Kapampangan and his Indûng Tibuan, the land of his birth, are one and the same. Their souls are as one. The twin souls must always come together otherwise the Kapampangan simply can not be. With this in mind, one now can easily understand the old saying: Ing taung alâng gabun, tau yang alâng kaladua, a man without land is a man without a soul. If one has taken to note, the name Kapampangan applies not only to the person but also to his land and his language as well.
The Kapampangan is touchy when it comes to the question of land because the question deals not only with an accidental preoccupation but with the deeper question concerning himself: his very being, his soul. When one touches his land he not only touches something he merely posses, rather he touches his very essence, his very self. Now one could understand why the unnamed rajah of Macabebe reacted with such violence when the Spaniards decided to take his land, they were taking his soul and his life as well. One now could understand why the thousands in Lubao and Betis chose death rather than surrender in the battles of 1571, or the countless who fought the Americans in the 1900s, or the Japanese in 1941 to 1945; somehow, deep down in their psyche, they knew their sacrifice would further strengthen their mother, their Indûng Tibuan, to whom their souls would return at the hour of death.

taksiapo November 17th, 2006, 05:11 PM A Perversion of Ethnic Identity
Their question was: Óbat alâ nang Poéta Laureádung Kapampángan?"Why aren't there anymore Kapampangan Poet Laureates?"
I counter with another question: Nínu pa uárîng Kapampángan ing kukudtâ kng saríli nang salítâ?"What Kapampangan still writes poetry in his own language?"
Or if I should put it more bluntly, my question would be: Atin pa uáring Kapampángan a biásing sumúlat ampong mamásâ kng Amánu nang Sísuan? "Are there still Kapampangans who can still read and write in their own native language?"
The sad truth is, there are no new Kapampángan Poet Laureates because for the past thirty years the Kapampángan people have become illiterate in their own language. The younger generation hardly even speak it. The Kapampángan language is not taught in schools within his own homeland.
The Kapampangan ethno-linguistic group is probably the most culturally self-repressed of all lowland Philippine groups. What ethnic group in Philippines, and the world for that matter, would be slapped with a fine every time their language is spoken within the learning institutions of their homeland? Kapampangan students pay up to PHP 5.00 every time they speak Kapampangan in schools...
What ethnic group would put up a sign in his radio station that reads “No Smoking! No Kapampangan!”?
What ethnic group would consider his own language non-intellectual, unsophisticated and uncultured and therefore unfit to be used in the classroom or in the workplace?
What married couple, both Kapampángan speakers, would raise a child that speaks a language different from his own parents’?
The list of aberrations is endless. How would one expect the new crop of Kapampángans, non-proficient and illiterate as they are in their own language, to suddenly produce from among themselves a literary master in the Amánung Sísuan?
Sadly, the list of aberrations is indeed never ending. For their solution to the question as to why there aren’t anymore Poet Laureates in the Amánung Sísuan is, “Let us have a poetry contest and crown the winner Poéta Laureádo!”
Let us not discuss their authority to crown a Poet Laureate. Let us not even talk about the criteria that make a Poet Laureate. Let us discuss instead the logic of their answer. If the reason for not having any new literary masters in the Kapampángan language is that the Kapampángan people now are illiterate in it, and that they are illiterate in it because they are cultural repression reign supreme in their homeland, then, what good would a damn poetry contest do to solve this problem? I guess that abominable sign “No Smoking! No Kapampangan!” will be there to stay for all eternity.

ishtefh_03 November 19th, 2006, 04:50 AM ^^ i guess the forrest park area was during the 70's and 80's time, they might have chaged the description of that place by now; dami na kasing bago eh. so lakeshore does have a lake, mahal nga dun siguro; and do they charge a fee to view sa mga open house dyan? just wondering.
open house is free as long as you got an invitation by one of the brokers i think.

THE surrealist painter Salvador Dali, best known for his masterpiece The Persistence of Memory, lost to a Kapampangan painter in an international painting competition held in the US in 1939.
The world-famous Spanish painter (Dali) and the Kapampangan Vicente Alvarez Dizon both submitted entries to the International Competition on Contemporary Art at the Gallery of Science and Art at the Golden Gate Exposition in San Francisco, California. It was sponsored by New York's International Business Machines Corporation (now known for its acronym, IBM). It drew entries from 79 countries.
Another contestant was the French master Maurice Utrillo.
Utrillo's entry, "Church of St. Aignan at Chartes" did not even make it to the finals. Salvador Dali's painting, "Enigmatic Elements in a Landscape" was awarded second prize. First prize went to the Kapampangan's entry, "After the Day's Toil," a rustic scene showing a farmer's family on their way back from the field.
It was a stunning victory for Filipinos, but it wasn't the only one. A few weeks earlier, another Filipino painter, Fernando Amorsolo, also won first prize in another IBM-sponsored art competition, held at the World Fair in New York.
Those were golden years, the 1930s, the decade before the global conflagration that was World War II. Fairs and carnivals were being held everywhere, like the Golden Gate Exposition on the US West Coast where Vicente Alvarez Dizon won, and the World Fair on the East Coast where Amorsolo won. In the Philippines, there was the Manila Carnival, which started beauty pageants in the country. In Pampanga, there was the Pampanga Carnival in 1933, which remains unparalleled even up to this day. Every town was given a pavilion where their arts and crafts were put on display, and the municipal governments pulled all stops to outdo each other in design and product innovation.
In those times of prosperity, artists like Dizon and Amorsolo naturally thrived. But Dizon was the first to note the irony that the Philippines was a country of many art geniuses and no art aficionados. While artists of world-class caliber like Dizon and Amorsolo mushroomed, the appreciative masses were nowhere to be found. Thus, Dizon suggested that art appreciation be made a part of the curriculum in public schools. "In this way," he wrote, "an aesthetic sense and appreciation for the arts will be awakened in the early life of our youth."
He wrote two books on the subject matter, Living as an Art and Art Education and Appreciation, which was used as a textbook at the National Teachers College.
Dizon said that aside from education, a cohesive museum system should be established in the Philippines so that local museums are not mere storage of art works but dynamic exhibit areas so that people from all walks of life could truly understand and appreciate art. The public, especially the poor, he said, needed "an institution, a civic center -- a museum where they may go during Sundays or their free hours, instead of going to gambling houses and dancing saloons."
Nothing much has changed since the 1930s. Filipinos still prefer to spend all their weekend hours in the mall.
Museums and art galleries are visited only by the high-brow, high-heeled cultural set and by schoolchildren on field trips who are in a hurry to get to their next stop, you guessed it, the mall.
Vicente Alvarez Dizon was born to Kapampangan parents in Malate in 1905. At 16, he was already a paid illustrator for prewar magazines like Graphic, Free Press, Woman's Home Journal and Liwayway (where he illustrated the stories of Lola Basyang).
He won first prize in an art exhibition held at the Manila Carnival of 1927. The following year, he graduated from the University of the Philippines (UP) School of Fine Arts, where he was head caricaturist of the Philippine Collegian. After graduation, Dizon immersed himself in research on indigenous costumes. He executed 39 watercolor paintings he collectively entitled "Filipino Costumes 1500-1935." His work earned him the recognition of his peers as well as a scholarship from Yale University in Connecticut, where he eventually graduated with the degree Bachelor of Fine Arts after only one-and-a-half years (instead of the usual three).
Lord Barnby, president of the London University, also offered him the then huge sum of US$10,000 for his paintings of native costumes, which Dizon declined.
While at Yale, Dizon became the first Filipino artist invited to become a member of the National Geographic Society of America in recognition of his historical costume paintings, and won first prize in Major Bowes' Amateur Hour program over NBC by playing musical instruments.
When he returned to the Philippines, he taught at the National Teachers College and at the Mapua Institute of Technology; he was also a member of the committee tasked to reorganize the UP School of Fine Arts.
The vastly talented Dizon introduced finger painting in the Philippines, which he propagated throughout the country through lectures and demonstrations. He was also known for his "chalk talk" lectures copied by many today, in which someone from the audience is asked to sketch any form or line on the blackboard and the artist would transform it into a meaningful figure.
But "After the Day's Toil" continues to be Dizon's greatest legacy. After the competition, the painting went on a world tour of IBM offices, including the one in Ermita, Manila, before going on permanent display at the IBM Gallery of Fine Arts in New York. In 1968, IBM unloaded some of its art collections to American art galleries. The Dizon painting went to Hirschi Adler Gallery in New York, which sold it to an anonymous collector. It has since disappeared from public view.
Dizon stayed in Angeles, marrying Ma. Ines Henson, sister of historian Mariano A. Henson. Among his children are local historians and painters Daniel Dizon and Josie D. Henson. He died Oct. 19, 1847 at 42.

So Ayala already had plans to build a mall in Angeles but after the contract for SM Clark was signed, Ayala Land pulled out.
Here's an excerpt of the May 17, 2005 article of SunStar Pampanga
He said "at the time the SM Clark contract was signed, Angeles City as already lost a multi-million investment after Ayala Land Inc. pulled out of its plan to develop an 8.7-hectare lot near City Hall into a Greenbelt-type commercial enterprise."
The reason, PGKM claimed, was that Ayala Land could not compete with SM Clark because of its privileges as Clark locator.
And now, they're reviving the mall project :applause:
Sinjin P. November 21st, 2006, 03:08 AM Viray: It is raining in Pampanga
By Atlee T. Viray
In and out of court
A STORM hits Pampanga relentlessly. This is the storm of progress.
Look around you. Subdivisions have mushroomed all over. There is Ayala's Avida. There is Villar's Crown. There is the Mangio's Lakeshore. There is Dizon's Estate, Kolbe, Villa del Sol. There is Beverly.
There is Barcelona. There is Krystal Homes. There is Fortune Ville. This is a crystal clear sign of progress. The sugar cane plantations are all gone. In its place, palatial mansions and air-conditioned units have sprouted.
"I retired from my good paying job in the United States. I bought a house and lot in North San Fernando. This is an ideal place. This is near Angeles. This is not far from Masantol or from Manila. I am the envy of my acquaintances in New Jersey," balikbayan Romeo Punla states approvingly.
It is raining hard -- with blessings to our province. Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) bought a 9.3-hectare land in Angeles City. Ayala is to build a P2-billion mall. Fifteen years after Pinatubo, Pampanga is ready to reclaim the status as No. 1 province of the country. I remember the late governor Bren Z. Guiao used to say: "We're No. 1. All others are behind us."
We stumbled but only temporarily. Let us listen to what the business experts say through Ayala finance officer, Jaime Ysmael: "In Pampanga, the purchasing power is quite strong. There is a lot of spending power especially with infrastructure coming along in the Clark-Subic area and the rehabilitation of the North Luzon Expressway (Nlex). That entire corridor will be growing quite fast."
Soon, the Subic-Clark Tarlac Expressway Project is to connect the industrial transport and business hubs of Subic, Clark and Tarlac. This region is to outpace all others in a couple of years. To the credit of my kumpadre -- lawyers in government -- lawyer Oscar S. Rodriguez and Edgardo Pamintuan, this project has taken flight. These two lawyers play a major role in planning and working on this Subic-Tarlac-Clark Seaboard. Oca and Eddie have etched their names in gold as true statesmen. Even after they retire from government, they can look back in satisfaction in spurring progress in this part of the country.
Add to this duo, Levy Laus comes prepared as the new president of Clark Development Corporation (CDC). Sooner or later, Clark will be the leading port of international flights. It is the only landing area big enough to house the huge projected volume of air transport.
These are the best of times. The worst is over for Pampanga. Business leader Jess Nicdao of Guagua, hits the nail in the head when he says: "We are lucky. We live in Pampanga. This is the best place to do business in the next five years."
The future is rosy for the province. The future has arrived. The future is NOW. We are close to reclaiming our No. 1 position.

It isn't the only reason why they pulled out. Another reason is that The Ayalas and the owners of the farm they bought requested to Tarzan (the mayor) a pedestrian overpass in return the Ayalas would develop the area. Tarzan, howver, refused to build the overpass.
another trivia:
At the beginning Tarzan joined the local business sector in blocking the SM Clark project, I wonder what made him changed his mind :ohno: .

dindo fernando, of AYALA LAND INC. public affairs manager, said the construction of the mall may start by december..He added that they acquired the lot for the new ayala mall from the family of brothers Rey ang Robert SO,owner of the springside pountry farm in barangay pulung maragul..The SO family may likely strike a joint venture with the Ayalas for the housing project located beside the mall...
Fernando said, the ALI and SO are eyeing the site of springside pountry farm as the site of the new housing project..But fernando said they will start the construction of the new mall before they finalize the plans for the housing project....

This is an old building historical building. Previously months before, on the ground and 2nd floor there were many large painting about the famous Kapampangan (Illustrado family) during the Spanish era.
Yesterday I planned to take photos of those historical paintings however the guard told me that it was removed from the wall since they were renovating the interior of the building. The Guard also showed to me the 2nd floor of the Edificio where the large Paintings was hung before in the wall of the foyer. The large paintings were still there but stacked against the wall of the foyer.
http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m142/jaime_makabayan/022x800.jpg
This is an old historical building though it seems the exterior facade seems to be renovated before. Previously or just few months ago on the ground and 2nd floor there were many large painting ( size abt 8 feet x 10 feet ) about the famous Kapampangan (Illustrado family) during the Spanish era.
Yesterday I planned to take photos of those historical paintings however the guard told me that it was removed from the wall since they were renovating the interior of the building. You can see the
name of the building " Edificio de Jimenez Tercero ".
The large paintings seemed to be late 18th century and previously displayed on the ground floor and second floor of the Edificio. It shows the history of the Illustrado owner of that building, family tree of the Jimenez'es which link them to most of the rich and prominent families of Pampanga and Tarlac, and it shows also the history of the Philippine Revolution and Pampanga which interlink with their own family history.
There was still some old photographs in glass frame (size about 2 feet x 1.5 feet - circa 18th to 19th century) displayed in the foyer of the 2nd floor of this Edificio de Jimenez, of their Jimenez'es family ancestries.
I wish to take the photos of those remaining old photographs in glass frames and the Guard is also willing to let me photograph it, however it is quite dark inside the building eventhough it is 3PM that time yesterday. There was not enough light in the building interior needed for photographing those century-old photographs in glass frames. The building interior was under renovation.
For the last 2 years every month I am visiting this building, since monthly I am paying mine and my wife's premium of Life insurance in Philamlife. Everytime I went there I always planned to bring my digital camera and take the photos of the abt 8 feet x 10 feet paintings of illustrado family during the Spanish era.
However yesterday when I am ready to take the photos, I have seen the paintings were already removed and stacked in the wall in the 2nd floor. What is left on the wall of the foyer was the century old family photographs in glass frames.

You are so right with that, that pig deserves to be kicked out of office. Angeles City deserves a better mayor, all of the good ones go to San Fernando don't you think? With Rey Aquino's three terms, he made history in San Fernando: by turning it into a city and developing it to be a rival of Angeles in business and commerce.
@ishtefh_03. Did you know that that structure with a 7-eleven below is even named in Spanish? It's like "Edificio de Jimenez..." ecu ne balu, macaba ya casi eh. You should see the interiors too, very old-world. And it is accentuated by fantastic Fil-Hispanic art inside, plus the Bale Herencia adjacent to it makes them look so historical.
@emesber. Salamat careng litratu! Even though nakikita ko yang mga yan palagi, mas masaya ang makita sila dito hehe. Bakit ako nahihirapang kumuha ng letrato? Mga guardia kasi eh, napaka-sospechoso.

zelrich82 November 22nd, 2006, 09:23 AM Emesber -- thanx sa mga pics, you hit the spot by bringing me back to my childhood. that water tower was there back when i was a child and that gas station, let's just say that it was Flying A or Caltex back then. that street (northwest bound as you mentioned) heading towards Jocson Junior College is First Street, i grew up 2 streets over - just behind that water tower sa 3rd street by the Gueco's and Sison's.
ang laki na talaga ng pinagbago ng holy angel university (holy angel college noon), di ko na maitsurahan. ang holy family church lang ang kilala ko, it still looks the same after all these years.
salamat sa pag-remind mo sa kin what i have been missing, one thing i notice though - traffic seems to be worse, noon kase ang sarao mac arthur hiway lang and the short jeepney's (not the sarao's) go to check point (as we called it then now it's clark). there was hardly any congestions, kung meron man - it's because may nagbanggaan; but that's like maybe once a month, and there was never a need for those center dividers.

"edificio de jimenez tercero" ata yung name nya... nakita ko na rin interiors nyan nung highschool pa pero kung may time ako matingnan nga ulit.

MacArthur Highway Balibago. You can see the roundabout and on the right is the road that leads directly to Clark's Maingate.
those trasportable concrete barriers were death trap. in metro manila for the last few months many cars collided with that concrete barrier, there is a big risk especially at night and especially if your are too tipsy with too much drink.
at night while driving in Dau, Balibago and AC city proper, i learned that you have too make your car head light very strong otherwise you may hit the concrete barriers. months ago the concrete barrier near BPI Balibago was hit by a car
perhaps 2 or 3 times, the last one by a big cargo truck. then the concrete barrier near Robinson Mall in Balibago was also hit. perhaps they should change that to plastic fiber or wood. but the problem ... madaling nakawin at isakay sa truck ng robbers kung hindi concrete. in Pinas it is always catch 22.

nakita ko na ang greenbelt last year when we were in Makati, and i've seen the market market pero sa labas lang 'coz we just dropped somebody off. sorry for my ignorance, pero anong itsura ng market market sa loob; kase it looked alright outside, i'm just clueless. palengke ba iyon or is it like vira mall?
Sinjin P. November 23rd, 2006, 06:06 AM Market! Market! is your regular mall. Additional features are areas for bargain stalls (tiangge) so that customers can haggle for the best finds. Nonetheless, it's a decent and good mall. Well what can you expect, it's still an Ayala mall :)

i confused, i got the tiangge part and i understand market means palengke; what's an ayala mall? so market market is not a regular palengke where you can buy meat, produce and other grocery stuff? you only mentioned that the produce is sold outside, i'm guessing this is not a wet type market. did they run out of names, that why they called it something and mentioned it twice; some concept.

Sinjin P. November 23rd, 2006, 10:28 AM @Zelrich: The Ayala Malls brand is a respected name, it is prestigious and is being looked upon.
Anyway, to clarify, Market! Market! is your usual mall, but with the addition of some leasable spaces for tiangge stalls. At the outside of the mall is a fresh produce market (fruits, veggies, flowers) and some stalls selling food and snacks. So it's definitely not a palengke or a wet market... ;)

Please note that yesterday is the opening day of the North Philippines Tourism Week. There was a parade that started from the assembly area of Puregold Store from participants from Region I, Region II, Region III, and Cordilerra Autonomous Region.
I just arrived at Puregold to buy something when the parade started, however
I found my digicamera has no more batteries. So I went to Robinson Dept Store in Balibago for the Kodak batteries. When I arrive in SM Clark the parade is already there and the speech of the Special Guest - Senator Dick Gordon the Sect of Tourism, is already over.
Anyhow I have taken more than 150 photos of beautiful dancers, beautiful people from DOT and the local goverment, and the various booth at SM Clark.
I will post those photos in the Thread SM Clark - tonight.
Btw these were the sample photos for Thread SM Clark.

On the upper floor of this food joint is the Sports Bar (on Fields Avenue) where I once caught

the second one is the "Bale Herencia" literally "Heritage House" it is located at the corner of Lakandula and Sto. Rosario Streets, it was built in 1860 by carpenters coming from Vigan, Ilocos Sur. It is said that the imposing house was built by Fray Guillermo Masnou, a parish priest of Angeles. Restoration was started in 1988 by the owner, Mr. Jose G. Paras, Jr. , and continuous to this day. ayos lang, i was just thinking out loud; there's no planning taking place (yet, he he).
dude ang gara ng mga pics mo sa friendship, i was reminiscing when i was younger - coming from 3rd street (balibago) i would go all the way to sapang bato (to my cousins) riding my BMX nikilado (uso noon) going through that side road along clark (by plaridel, i think) to that friendship corner then keep going straight passing through margot then making my way to sapang bato (dirt road pa noon from the corner of friendship all the way to sapang bato); one thing i hated was that steep hill that you have to go through, and you can't even go inside clark dahil the base was still active back then with american g.i.'s ... and those caravans, been a real long time since i seen those. real cool, 10 stars... maybe you need to work for National Geographic.

what's SCETEX? tried to pull it out of the net, there's nothing about it. i know it's an expressway, but what does SCET mean? NLEX is north luzon expressway (if i'm right). and why would they have army checkpoint there?

SCETEX : is Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway and there is a thread here in SSC.
army checkpoint is everywhere in central luzon, and in Angeles City and Mabalacat's selected areas where the govt deems to have insurgency problems. we reckoned Sapang Bato has an army check point since that is quite remote place. and they look for cedula to check who were strangers in the place, the logic there is if you don't have cedula from that town then you
must be an stranger there, then strangers is subject for questioning.
Actually I am paying subscription to National Geographic Magazine for 15 years ( I started with 20 dollars a year i 1980s and later it became 40 dollars a year subscription. Cheaper than buying from bookshops, and with subscriptions then you are a member. actually in 1980s the life time membership for National Geographic is only 200 dollars but I chose to pay yearly.
btw try to look for the SCETEX thread there is also some photos there of Clark area and Mabalacat where the Expressway from Subic where being built.

portludlow December 3rd, 2006, 06:43 PM BCDA allots P230m for tollway access road
By Rendy Isip
CLARK FIELD, Pampanga—The Bases Conversion and Development Authority has approved the allocation of P230 million for the construction of an access road to link the Clark Special Economic Zone here to the P21-billion Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway which is expected to be finished by November 2007.
Clark Development Corp. president Levy Laus said the BCDA approved the P230-million budget for the construction of the access road that would link the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport with the Subic Freeport in Zambales and make it the premier logistics hub in the country as envisioned by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
The Clark access road is vital to the development of Clark as well as the nearby Angeles City, Mabalacat, Magalang and other towns in Pampanga.
“This is a good news for all of us, the BCDA has approved the budget,” Laus said, adding that the access road is set to be completed by November 2007, simultaneous with the completion of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac tollway.
The access road would be built in the area of Industrial Estate Five near the Yokohama Tire Philippines Inc., inside the Clark economic zone. The tollway project is 42-percent complete and development group officials expressed confidence that the project would be finished by November, ahead of its original deadline of December.
The Angeles City Council and Mabalacat Council had earlier threatened to stop the project after the development group failed to include the access road because officials claimed Clark would not directly benefit from the tollway because it will only pass the area and not link it to the economic zone.
Laus said travel time going to Subic will only take 30 minutes instead of the three-hour ride via the very busy Gapan-San Fernando-Olongapo Road.
He said Clark and Subic would both enjoy benefits from the tollway because it would attract more investments and eventually create more jobs for local folks in nearby communities of Central Luzon.
Common sense finally prevailed. This is good news for metro Angeles and Pampanga. Emesber thank you for posting the sisig festival pictures.

Just at the back of the present AUF MEdical center, the name would be AUF Medical Tower, 10 storeys high. I am hoping that this would overtake the height of the dome of Holy Rosary parish CHurch, the tallest structure in Angeles (or is it?). Construction will take 3 years daw, naku tagal nun! The construction area is very noisy and it causes rough shakes sa floor, we could even feel the shakes inside the nearby McDonald's.

in my estimates kaunti lang noong 6Pm na umalis kami, aywan ko lang pagkaalis namin. the weather ... morning and afternoon very hot sunshine, then about 6PM quite cloudy but no rain....

That is East Gate (Mall or Condo) which is beside the Robinson Starmill and infront of SM also. Still uncompleted and perhaps another 6 months before completion.
actually many people here don't know about ayala mall which supposed to be built near the city hall. Cannot find the info about the Ayala Mall in the local nor national newspaper. Perhaps the planners in Angeles City Hall knows about it, since Culiat seems to be related with Tarzan the Mayor, perhaps Culiat can give some info.

actually I just presumed it is a Mall. pero kung Mall or condo ay masyadong mababa. baka magtatayo pa ng mas malaking structures doon, maluwang naman ang area na yaon. I will read the sign on East Gate on the next time I passed by that area.

there are a few decent hotels at fields ave., i stayed at wild orchid resort; not bad for a hotel dead smack in the middle of the bars :naughty: in fields ave. it was opened not too long ago, and it's really convenient :okay: especially if you want to go bar hoping around the area. i had a blast when i stayed there:banana: , it's easy to walk around and when you get drunk :scouserd: just say the hotels name and they'll know where to take you.

sabi mo kasi decent hotels along fields ave., kaya recommend ko to - 'coz i was there. you know it's always a business trip, they're business is my pleasure :jk: ang gusto ko kasi is a place where you can stay out late and everything is open, i have no car - so i chose to stay sa area where i can walk around. i don't want to be cooked up in a hotel, tapos i can't have fun; having fun during the day is hard for me - me lahi ata akong paniki na nang-hahabol ng mga kalapati. :D
TheAvenger December 12th, 2006, 08:56 PM I have posted the scanned copy of Clark Monitor magazine of CDC in the thread Clark and Subic. Also some brochures of northern provinces in the thread Phil Tourism.

Perhaps you are looking for Century Resort Hotel located at the back of the new Casino Filipino at Balibago. Just talked to their lady telephone operator and she confirmed they have no Websites. She don't know also about the Bar phase 4, probably she is new in that place.
In their compound the Bar : (Klownz comedy bar), Il Posto (Bar and coffee shop) and SOS Bar (sound of Sevetees Bar)
