ako hindi ko gusto na reliant lang sa hi-way ang business kaya mas gusto ko na ang kalat na development, gaya sa angeles. esp since lumaki ako sa angeles, and have found it unappealing to travel to san fernando via mcarthur hiway (commuter lang kasi) kasi nga dun sa mahabang sleepy stretch na yun from Telabastagan to Sindalan, unlike if you travel from Angeles to Mabalacat (reverse naman ang Mabalacat; the farther you go North, the sleepier it becomes til you reach Bamban). one thing I like about Angeles is that the North-Western barangays of Sapang Bato and Margot and also Clark Freeport Zone are actually of a different terrain (hills/forests/mountains) and have potential for ecotourism.
speaking of Nepo complex, here's a recent night shot of the BPO building there:
i can really see the potential in those you mentioned. i heard about the wakeboard activity in margot. any update on this?

sisigman December 14th, 2011, 03:32 AM Proposed sports facility ideal for Asian teams
By Noel G. Tulabut
Tuesday, December 13, 2011
NEW YORK – Top trade and investment officials here believe that the proposed sports training and recreation facility will be ideal for practices of Asian baseball teams during their winter off-season breaks.
Eugene Elevado, Philippine Trade representative based here, said the Clark STAR (Sports Training, Amusement and Recreation Center) that is being planned at Clark Freeport will be good for baseball training camps.
“Particularly for Japanese and Korean teams that have their own major leagues in their countries, Clark STAR will be a good training venue during their winter times,” Elevado said.
With his previous assignment in Japan where he has followed the major and minor leagues there, Elevado said Clark will be a good alternative to other warm cities and countries for baseball practice during the winter.
He said professional Japanese teams invest so much in training by sending them to as far as Hawaii for off-season practice.
“The Clark STAR could serve as a very good alternative given its concept to have dormitories and other support facilities for players and athletes. Some of them even tow their families with them,” Elevado said.
Elevado also noted the huge potentials of Clark STAR for jobs generation.
“In baseball training alone, a lot of the locals could be hired as outer field catchers. Training is not only good for athletes but also for those who will be hired in the process,” Elevado said.
Clark STAR is a brainchild of Clark Development Corporation (CDC) president Felipe Antonio B. Remollo. It is being proposed by CDC to rise in a 200-hectare land at the Northeast tip of Clark, between Mabalacat and the Sacobia River.
Aside from having sports academy and dormitories for athletes, it will have various stadia for indoor games, field events, and aquatic sports.
It will also feature a commercial complex, exhibit halls, convention center, promenade, central park, public transport terminal and a monorail link system around the facility.
Remollo said Clark STAR is also being presented to National Sports Associations. It has initially been presented to the Philippine Olympic Committee and the Philippine Sports Commission.
Once fully developed, Clark STAR could serve as a replacement to the current training facilities for Filipino athletes that include the dilapidated Rizal Memorial Complex in Metro Manila.

i agree with you. the marquee area is THE next big thing in angeles, if i may so. hindi na ako mabibigla if magtayo pa si henry sy ng another SM city in angeles to compete with the said ayala shopping mall, though personally i would be delighted if another rockwell center would be put up in that area. the more, the merrier!

ang hindi ko lang gusto ay ang name niya marQuee Mall dhil marami parin ang hndi nakakaalam na ito ay isang Ayala Mall. the best name for me will be AYALA CENTER PAMPANGA or AYALA CENTER ANGELES.
OtAkAw December 14th, 2011, 10:57 AM ^^Nako sana improve muna nila access roads, it's a nightmare. From Angeles downtown you just have two choices:
- Angeles-Magalang Road (Pandan)
- Balibago-Don Bonifacio
Both have heavy traffic usually. Unless mag-SCTEX-NLEX ka pa which is medyo malayo, magbabayad ka pa ng toll.

yes, hindi malayo na magkaroon ng SM ANGELES (since ang SM Clark ay parang pang-northern Pampanga in general and for Clark people, di lang sa Angeles) doon. I mean we always thought San Fernando had SM Pampanga, but no, nagtayo pa ng SM San Fernando. So why not SM Angeles? :D

nagclick din siya dahil along siya sa Nlex kung saan walang traffic. the challenge to Marquee now is how it can bring people na walang privilege of using NLEx to access the site. honestly, minsan tinatamad akong pumunta ng Marquee kasi ang hirap pumunta, dry ang mga lugar papunta dun, at madalas, traffic.

1) North Eastern end of Pandan Road (before it reaches the Abacan River)
2) Aniceto-Gueco Street (Marquee Mall/City Hall area)
3) McArthur Hi-way - Brgy. Sto. Domingo and Brgy. Pulungbulu portion
4) almost the whole stretch of Friendship Hi-way! God, it's a dead place except for the schools
5) the spaces along the road to Porac/Floridablanca
6) the spaces along the northeastern segment of the road to Magalang
7) Brgy. Mining area

sisigman December 14th, 2011, 04:32 PM regarding the SM Pampanga dispute (San Fernando VS Mexico), I saw this in Google Map. I don't know how reliable it is, but if we base our conclusions from Google Map, the whole area of SM Pampanga is indeed almost equally shared between Mexico and San Fernando, while Robinsons Starmills is entirely within San Fernando (the broken line in the image is the border between Mexico and San Fdo).

Mayor relates cityhood to American pilot’s heroism
Tuesday, December 13, 2011
MABALACAT --- “Supreme sacrifice so that others may live.”
This was how Mayor Marino “Boking” Morales related the heroism of Captain Colin Kelly to the cityhood bid of this first class town.
Plan your Sinulog week ahead and find out what's in store for Sinulog 2012.
Kelly is an American pilot who died after his aircraft crashed in Barangay Bical here during World War II.
Morales said Kelly risked his life for the defense of their liberties. He said the cityhood, which was already approved by the Senate, is a great sacrifice in service to the people.
Once the town becomes a component city, the delivery of basic and social services to the people will improve greatly, he said.
Kelly, the first American hero during World War II, was among the first to fly out of Clark Field and engaged Japanese warplanes in the early days of the war in the Pacific.
On December 10, 1941 or two days after the war began, Kelly’s plane was hit by enemy fire after a bombing run and exploded over Barangay Bical.
Kelly tried to bail out like his crew, but his parachute did not open, according to Morales.
The local government unit built a monument in Kelly’s name inside the Clark Freeport. Morales said this is their modest way of paying tribute to a man who risked his life so that others may live.
Morales and Clark Development Corporation President Felipe Antonio Remollo led other officials in honoring Kelly during a simple ceremony last Saturday.
“But today, we have decided to honor him here so that more people will learn about him, as well as other heroes like our very own Captains Villamor and Basa, who also gave up their lives for other people,” Morales said. (Reynaldo G. Navales)

HondaFTW December 15th, 2011, 08:45 AM In my opinion, it is not right to call Mabalacat the "Next Makati north of Manila". There are no other major roads that businesses can lineup on, just McArthur Highway. Whatever roads you would pass on in Mabalacat that is not MacArthur highway, SCTEX or NLEX or the NLEX Dau exit road, you will definitely meet bad roads, kids playing in the middle of the streets and humps every 5 to 10 meters! The only thing I actually like about Mabalacat is that I can planespot there and my school is there. Other than that, I simply don't like the place.

Firm to build P7-billion leisure complex in Clark
http://i1180.photobucket.com/albums/x402/albertcruzalfaroRN/megaworld.jpg
By Reynaldo G. Navales
Wednesday, November 30, 2011
CLARK FREEPORT — The Megaworld Corporation is set to establish a P7-billion commercial leisure complex inside in this Freeport.
This was learned from Megaworld chairman and chief executive officer Andrew Tan, who signed a memorandum of agreement with Clark Development Corporation, led by president Felipe Antonio B. Remollo, for the project.
Megaworld is one of the leading estate developers in the country. Tan said they are excited to implement their new project in Clark that is expected to complement other existing enterprises in the zone.
Tan also added that they are envisioning of having more than 30,000 workers once the various projects are completed in the proposed area.
Remollo said the landmark project of Megaworld will include the mixed-use complex featuring office, commercial, retail, leisure and entertainment (including hotels, casino and gaming facilities), residential and health and wellness components.
All of these, he said, can cater to foreign and local business process outsourcing locators, retirement communities and tourism enterprises.
It will be located in the 550-hectare main Clark Freeport and Clark Special Economic Zone (Sacobia Area) mixed-use complex.
As early as October 2011, Tan has been discussing with Remollo and CDC Marketing Department Manager Rafael A.S. Galvez the possibility of developing portions of the main and sub-zone into mixed-used commercial complex in line with its live-work-play-learn lifestyle developments.
Remollo said the proposed projects of Megaworld will change the tourism landscape in Clark and it will be a main attraction once the plans are put in place.
Megaworld is reshaping the Metro Manila and the other major cities’ skylines and is raising the standards for office development in the Philippines with its growing portfolio of office projects in established and emerging centers of business and commerce within the metropolis and in other growth centers in the country.
The tourism and estate developer is also responsible in the development of McKinley Hill Cyberpark in Taguig City, which was inspired by one of Italy’s finest city, Venice.
McKinley Hill Cyberpark is carving out its own success story a la Eastwood City Cyberpark – only on a larger scale and at a much faster pace; it is where the country’s big business process outsourcing firms such as IBM, Citibank, Canon, Accenture, Dell, Emerson, among others, are located.
The firm has also several ongoing projects located in several provinces such as the Iloilo Business Park - a mixed-use master-planned community in a 54.50-hectare property. It will have BPO offices, hotels, a convention center, commercial and retail centers, skills training center, recreational facilities and a transportation hub, all at the heart of the new growth center in the Visayas; and Mactan Oceantown which will rise on a 25-hectare complex near Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa in Mactan, Cebu.

Sto. Tomas - The Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University (DHVTSU) board and the Commission on Higher Education (Ched) have approved the proposal to set up a satellite campus here that would cater to educational needs of students of Pampanga’s fourth district. DHVTSU president Enrique Baking, in an exclusive interview Wednesday, said the approval of the proposal is an achievement for DHVTSU and the Provincial Government of Pampanga under the leadership of Governor Lilia Pineda, who first proposed the satellite campus.
“One of the commitments of the DHVTSU as prescribed by the Ched and required by the Senate Committee on Education, Culture and the Arts is the establishment of satellite campuses in various congressional districts of the province to make quality yet inexpensive education more accessible to its clientele,” Baking said.He said the approval would pave the way for the offering of Bachelor of Science courses.
Pineda told Sun.Star Pampanga that she has allocated some P25 million in funds for the construction of the necessary facilities for the initial operation of the campus. Pineda said the new campus will be housed at the old Department of Health regional office here that will soon undergo renovation and rehabilitation. The Provincial Government of Pampanga and DHVTSU will also sign soon a memorandum of understanding that shall provide the requisite funding for the construction of academic buildings, shop rooms and facilities. DHVTSU is tasked to offer degree programs and short-term courses identified by local government officials in service areas within the scope of the campus.
“This is a great development since we can now offer affordable education to the youth of the fourth district,” Pineda said. The satellite campus here will be the second DHVTSU campus in the province. The first satellite campus is located in San Juan in Mexico town which opened in 1997. Mayor Joselito Naguit said the approval and eventual rise of the satellite campus here will usher in further development in the town. He said the presence of the state university will be good for commercial activity and skills outsourcing. Naguit added that indigent students, not just in this town but from the nearby municipalities, will have an opportunity to avail themselves of quality education. “This is a great development for us in Sto. Tomas. Soon we will see other related industries here benefiting from this development,” Naguit said.

Karisma December 16th, 2011, 04:35 AM yes, hindi malayo na magkaroon ng SM ANGELES (since ang SM Clark ay parang pang-northern Pampanga in general and for Clark people, di lang sa Angeles) doon.
I feel that Pandan Road will soon be widened. kasi yung southwestern portion ng Pandan Rd. (sa Brgy. Sto.

not to sound judgmental but since a lot of Marquee stores are for the Class A B and upper C, I would assume a huge percent of its customers (who actually buy stuff, not window-shop) use the NLEX, especially if they come from San Fernando proper and Mabalacat. Kung kasi Angeleno ka, you'll just use Pandan Road, or Aniceto-Gueco st. to avoid traffic.
but well, Power of Eminent Domain :D

minsan ksi nagmasid me nsa pedastrian overpass ako ng marquee parang mas marami vehicle pumapasok sa entry point ng marquee coming from pandan road/mountain view than Nlex. marami may kaya pamilya dumadayo sa marquee even from the far northern province nghahanap yan ng highend shop instead na mgpunta sa manila dito nlng sa marquee napalapit pa sila at accessible along nlex lang.
ang proposal ko instead na iwiden un pandan road gawa nalang sila 4lane bypass road parallel to pandan road. kung sakali approve ang proposal ko meron ba paglalagyan ang bagong daan na yan parallel to pandan?? if yes saan ang alignment nito un ruta saan lulusot??
sisigman December 16th, 2011, 05:41 AM ^ I don't think may iba pang daan na pwedeng gawin, looking at Google Map. The widening of Pandan Road seems to be the only way. Plus, if you build a separate road, you'll have to erect another bridge because you will inevitably come across the Abacan River

We may be called a free country, but if there is any iota of doubt re: the Freedom of Speech/Press and the Freedom to Information, then citizens of that country are in danger. Some would prefer that it is better that these freedoms are abused than being taken away from the citizenry. If you take away these freedoms, then they can take away your property, your family, your freedom to move and even your life, because no one will talk about and discuss it. Defend these freedoms at at all cost and in every given opportunity... or lose all you have including your future. If you want change, take action!"

sisigman December 17th, 2011, 04:56 PM Nabuclod zip line nearing completion
By Jovi T. De Leon
Saturday, December 17, 2011
FLORIDABLANCA -- The two zip lines and a cable car system in the highlands of Nabuclod in this town are almost complete and will soon be operational.
Provincial Government consultant Roy Imperial made the disclosure after inspecting the project together with Governor Lilia Pineda and Board Members Monina Laus and Rolly Macalino. The project is deemed to boost tourism in Nabuclod and give livelihood opportunities for the Aetas there.
“This first zip line and cable car here in the newly constructed View Deck 2 is about 470 meters long. Save for the platform that is being constructed now, everything is set and will soon be operational by early next year,” Imperial told Sun.Star Pampanga.
Another zip line and cable car system, he added, is being constructed at View Deck 1.
“The other zip line and cable car system at View Deck 1 is 1.5 kilometers long. Once completed, it will be the longest in Asia. We have seen to its safety and the investment put in by the Provincial Government is all worth it once tourists start flocking to Nabuclod for these attractions,” said Imperial.
Pineda, for her part, said that the development of Nabuclod both as a tourist destination and agricultural center will be of massive help not only to Aetas and the people of Floriblanca, but for all Kapampangans with the investments and employment opportunities the project would generate.

if its not wise to build an alternative thoroughfare dedicated for marquee alone then i think they should make use of that vast land that it will traverse.say for example a mix-used property.its a win-win situation.u laid the infrastructures plus investment atmosphere got a big boost.pero u know alam nating medyo imposible but its a matter of political will and ambition.how i really wish lang na magkaruon ng mala ayala CBD,FBGC at Ortigas-like developments dito sa pampanga kahit on a smaller scale.(daydreaming )

I guess we could call it forward-thinking. The area where Marquee Mall is located has high potential for growth considering the Midas touch of Ayala Land is at work. Just look at what they did for Makati, The Fort and Cebu.
In addition, creating that road along Abacan will add another link road that connects NLEX with downtown Angeles. :)

patlite_boy December 19th, 2011, 06:54 PM DFA-Clark consular office to move to MarQuee Mall
18-Dec-11, 11:33 AM | InterAksyon.com
MANILA, Philippines -- An 800-square-meter fecility in Ayala Land Inc.'s upscale MarQuee Mall in Angeles City will soon host the Department of Foreign Affairs' consular office in Clark Field, Pampanga after DFA and ALI signed a memorandum of agreement for the transfer of the DFA statellite office to the Ayala mall.
DFA Secretary Albert del Rosario and ALI president Antonino Aquino signed the MOA which would be under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangements on Dec. 16.
The agreement with Ayala Land subsidiary North Beacon Commercial Corp. is the third PPP agreement the DFA entered into. Earlier, DFA signed similar agreements with Robinsons Land Corp. and Pacific Mall Corp. for the hosting of 10 consular offices nationwide.
The transfer to MarQuee Mall is expected to save the government at least P50 million over five years, del Rosario said following the signing ceremonies attended by Aquino and vice president and Commercial Business Group Head of Operations Rowena Tomeldan.
The P50 million savings is in addition to the P250 million that the DFA will save over 10 years as a result of the other PPP arrangements it earlier entered into.
"But more than just the facelift and the savings, our transfer to first-class facilities in shopping malls underscores the commitment of the DFA to better serve the public by making it more convenient for our people to avail themselves of passport and other consular services," del Rosario said.
According to del Rosario, the new consular office, to be located on the third level of MarQuee Mall, will be much larger than its present location inside Clark Field, and is going to be designed to serve as many as 600 applicants from Central and Northern Luzon and Metro Manila every day.
"Given its proximity to the metropolis, we can expect our MarQuee facility to help decongest the main passport processing center at the Office of Consular Affairs along Macapagal Avenue in Paranaque City," he said.
DFA in other malls nationwide
"By next year, we hope to be able to conclude ongoing negotiations and enter into similar arrangements with other friends in the private sector that would allow them to host our remaining consular offices and as well as future facilities that we will open in Metro Manila and other underserved areas of the country," the DFA secretary said
He said that the applying public will be serviced in more modern, applicant-friendly consular offices that will be in place in major shopping centers across the country starting in the first quarter of next year.
Passport applicants in the Central Visayas will be the first to experience this new service when the P13.5-million Regional Consular Office in Mandaue City, Cebu, is officially inaugurated next month.
This will be followed by the formal opening of consular offices in Pampanga, General Santos, Lipa, Tacloban, and Quezon City.
"We will also be expanding our services to other areas in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao in partnership with the private sector," del Rosario said.

Vegetation may definitely be planted on the available land for the residents benefit.

tisoycuba December 20th, 2011, 07:49 PM Clark main gate to be moved further up Roxas highway
Tuesday, June 14
A new main gate for Clark Freeport is being erected just before the SCTEX crossing on Roxas highway.
Clark Development Corp (CDC) has always been hesitant of such a move due to the fact that the Angeles local government tends to claim CDC-owned land that is not inside the Freeport's fenced boundaries.
Businesses and residents on and near the entertainment strip have long urged for an access route through the fencing into Roxas from Don Juico Ave in order to relieve Don Juico of traffic and to create a quicker and more convenient access into Clark Freeport and SM mall.
Whether this shall be done afterwards is still unclear

Thousands of spectators from the city and around the globe were astonished on the battle of colorful lights and creative craftsmanship showcased on last Saturday’s celebration of Giant Lantern Festival or Ligligan Parul held at Robinson’s Starmills Pampanga.
The entry of last year’s champion, Barangay Sta. Lucia emerged again as the champion outshining nine other lanterns from villages Dolores, Del Pilar, Telebastagan, San Juan, Sto. Niño, San Pedro, Calulut. Barangay Del Carmen which participated after 54 years, bagged the 2nd place, while Barangay San Jose was the 1st runner-up winner.
Barangay Sta Lucia received P103, 000 as cash prize, while Barangay San Jose received P50,000 and Barangay Del Carmen, P30,000.
The criteria for the competition are the designs, color combination, synchronized interplay of lights and colors with music during the three rounds.
During the first round of competition, each barangay was given seven minutes to showcase its giant lantern; in another round, lanterns in the same cluster played simultaneously, while on the final round, all lanterns were lighted at the same time for the traditional showdown or “ligligan”.
This year’s lanterns are better than ever, with the size of 20 feet in diameter and the use of fiber glass, the lanterns are even more fascinating for spectators and the international panel of judges which include dignitaries, ambassadors, and international personality in visual arts.
“This is great, the fact that this lanterns are operated manually, this shows the ingenuity of Kapampangans, I would recommend this (GLF) to my embassy and my country, next year we will be here”, said Harry Thomas, US Ambassador.
Internationally renowned Film Director Brilliante Mendoza was also captivated by the lanterns.
“Without the use of technology, we are producing this, sana next year mapanitili natin ang pagiging ‘local’ nito” said Mendoza.
For his part, Mayor Oscar S. Rodriguez thanked the Giant Lantern Festival Executive Committee for the success of this year’s celebration.
“We will ensure that next year’s ligligan parul will be even more beautiful” he said.
Pidjung December 21st, 2011, 09:39 PM The world famous Parul San Fernando is now the newest attraction of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
This is through the effort of the City Government under the leadership of Mayor Oscar S. Rodriguez where top-of-the-line lanterns with the total of cost 500 thousand pesos where donated at the cultural center.
Dubbed as ‘SULU: Parul San Fernando goes to CCP’, the joint program aims to promote the industry of San Fernando as well showcase the creativity of the makers that uses only manual techniques in producing world renown Christmas Lanterns.
“Isa itong paraan para maibahagi naming ang tuwa at saya hatid ng mga parul lalo na sa mga taga-Manila na hindi makakapunta sa Giant Lantern Festival namin” said Mayor Rodriguez.
The mayor also noted that the lanterns that are 8 feet in dimension are a small representation of the giant lanterns of the city which are usually 20 feet in dimension.
“Matagal na naming gustong mailagay ang ‘Parul San Fernando’ dito sa CCP and we are happy after 5 years of planning makikita na ng lahat ang makukulay na ilaw hatid ng parul” said Ariel Yonzon, Associate Artistic Director.
Meanwhile, CCP President Raul Sunico said that it is another pride for the center to house another authentic culture and traditions of the Filipinos.
“For 3 years we will display the lanterns in the façade of our building, this will also add to the festive atmosphere of during yuletide season” he said.

Noisy motorcycles not allowed at nighttime
Friday, December 23, 2011
CANDABA – Local authorities here said noisy motorcycles and other vehicles are not allowed to travel during nighttime.
They said those drivers found to be causing so much noise will be apprehended and the involved motorcycles will be impounded.
This came as several residents were complaining about the excessive noise coming from motorcycles with modified mufflers.
These noisy motorcycles were posing a risk to the lives of the people and even causing a lot of disturbance during late hours.
Leny Manalo, municipal chief of staff here, instructed the local police here to apprehend drivers driving bikes with loud mufflers.
Troy Grupo, secretary to the Municipal Council, earlier told Manalo that the legislative body here already enacted a measure obliging vehicle or motorcycle owners to install “silencer” to prevent excessive noise. (Herbert P. Mapiles)

Design contest for airport eyed
By Charlene Cayabyab and Reynaldo G. Navales
Friday, December 23, 2011
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) recently bared its plan of holding an international competition for the conceptual design of the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA).
In a press statement, BCDA president and CEO Arnel Paciano Casanova said the agency is in search of an iconic design that best represents the aspirations of Filipinos and showcases the elements of functionality, safety and convenience.”
The guidelines of the contest will be released by the first quarter of 2012.
Winning entry shall be chosen by a panel composed of reputable government leaders and prominent figures in the aviation industry.
Casanova added that the chosen design will be adopted in bidding out the detailed engineering and civil works implementation by 2014.
BCDA is spearheading the transformation of Clark international airport into the country’s premier global gateway that will bring tourists and investments.
Development of the airport would be through public-private partnership and will commence within the term of President Benigno Aquino III.
BCDA’s initiative to lead the project has the full support of fellow government-run firms Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) and Clark Development Corporation.
CIAC is now focused on attracting airlines to move to Clark thereby creating the traffic demand.

e1p1 December 26th, 2011, 12:22 AM At the beginning of the month of September, the city has plenty of rice cake vendors on the streets. This delicious Philippine hot cake is one of my favorite snack so I thought of sharing it with the SSC users.
http://i44.tinypic.com/s60fix.jpg
Ingredients:
1 cup rice flour
1 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup grated coconut flesh (product not available or rare in my area)
1/4 cup fresh milk
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 small block cheddar cheese cut it thin and vertically
3 pieces raw eggs
1 piece sliced salted duck egg
1 round-cut banana leaf or in my case I use cooking paper
Procedures:
1) In a bowl add butter then gradually put-in sugar while whisking.
2) Add the raw eggs then whisk until every ingredient is well incorporated.
3) Combine rice flour, baking powder, and salt then mix well on a separate bowl.
4) Add the rice flour, salt, and baking powder mixture with the other bowl then continue mixing.
5) Pour in fresh milk and coconut milk then continue whisking for about 2 minutes.
6) Arrange the cooking paper or banana leaf on a cake pan or baking pan
7) Pour the mixture on the pan.
8) Bake for 15 minutes in oven 180 degrees Celsius.
9) Arrange the cheese strips evenly (Do not turn the oven off). You can top now the salted eggs if you like it bake as well. I want salted eggs added later not baked.
10) Put back in the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the color of the top turn golden brown.
11) Brush with butter and sprinkle 1 teaspoon or less sugar on top. Place the salted egg arrange it evenly then you can also top this with grated coconut flesh in my case I only sprinkle some more cheese. Let it cool down for 3 or 5 minutes.
12) Serve and Enjoy :banana2:

monster_crunch December 26th, 2011, 07:36 AM Is the Philippines the new Vietnam? That can be taken in many contexts (Vietnam, for one, has a more solid economic growth than RP), but I'm referring to the influx of motorcycles on the road. It's crazy. Here's a look at the parking lot of SM City Clark on December 24th, taken by yours truly.

sisigman December 26th, 2011, 09:18 AM ^ a car is generally too expensive for the common Filipino to buy, so they resort to motorcycles. I myself am dreaming of acquiring one since I can't afford a car yet.
monster_crunch December 27th, 2011, 04:14 AM When it comes to motorcyles, dapat the city council should come up with stringent regulations regarding motorcycle use. For one, most accidents on the road involve motorcycles (yung mga singit nang singit as if they are exempted from traffic rules). Lately, a lot of criminals have been using motorcycles to attack people and thereafter escape. Roads these days are also more unsafe because of barubal motorcycle drivers. Too, motorcycles are fuel-inefficient and cause too much air and sound pollution. Motorcycles are never a good transportation option. I still go for mass transit and efficient traffic control.
And contrary to them being cheap, well, they're not. The costs involved -- maintenance, fuel, paperworks, not to mention safety risks -- don't measure up to decent expectations. But then that's just me.
sisigman December 27th, 2011, 04:55 AM ^ will if they're not cheap, maybe a lot of young Kapampangans are rich after all, that's why there are many owners. overall, they're still cheaper compared to a car.

monster_crunch December 28th, 2011, 07:03 AM President Beningo Aquino III has transferred the supervision of Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) to the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) to ensure the continued development of the Clark Civil Aviation Complex (CCAC), where the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) is located.
Because of this, the powers and functions of CIAC will be vested in and exercised by an 11-member Board of Directors to be composed of DOTC Secretary Manuel Roxas II as chairperson, Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez as vice chairperson, with Manila International Airport general manage Jose Angelo Honrado and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines director general as members.

2) Combine the fruit cocktail, kaong, nata de coco, jack fruit, coconut flesh, rock melon, and tapioca pearls then toss lightly.
3) Add the condensed milk and evaporated milk then mix lightly. Be extra careful so that the fruits will remain intact.
4) Add the cream then mix again. Make sure that the cream is properly distributed amongst the fruits.
5) Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or freeze for 4 to 6 hours.
6) Serve chilled or frozen. :bowtie:
e1p1 December 29th, 2011, 11:02 PM Spaghetti is one of the Spanish influence dish among Filipinos. Philippine spaghetti is sweet and that's how I love it. Such sweet sauce always conjure sweet memories of celebrations like birthday, nuptial, debut, etc...
http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/2865/spaghettip.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/338/spaghettip.jpg/)
Uploaded with ImageShack.us (http://imageshack.us)
Ingredients:
1 pack 250g spaghetti noodles
2 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped
1 medium onion, chopped into small pieces
1 medium carrot, diced finely small pieces
1 small red capsicum, diced finely small pieces
7 cocktail hotdogs, sliced diagonally
1/2 kg ground pork
50g of tomato paste
1/3 cup tomato sauce, add as needed
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons soy sauce
a dash of sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup corn flour
1/3 cup olive oil or any cooking oil
Procedure:
1) Cook spaghetti noodles as per package direction. Do not throw away the water in which the noodles were cooked.
2) Place the ground pork in a pan and add water (just barely submerging the meat)
3) Cook over high flame. Remove from heat when water has evaporated.
4) Heat up the oil in a pan pour the olive oil. Saute the onion, then add the garlic.
5) Add the ground pork and mix occasionally til pork is brown or cooked then add the hotdogs. Mix occasionally.
6) Add capsicum and carrots, keep stirring for couple of minutes.
7) Add tomato paste and some of the pasta water. Do not submerge the mixture into water though. Just enough to constitute the sauce. The paste will make the sauce thick.
8) The tomato paste is sour, so to even it up, add a bit of tomato sauce and soy sauce.
9) Add cornstarch diluted in 1/2 cup of hot water
10) Add ground black pepper, salt, and a dash of sugar or more depending in your taste.
11) Add the pasta now and mix well or later during serving.
12) If the pasta is not yet added then place the pasta 1st in serving tray and top with the sauce then the grated cheese.
13) Serve hot, Share and Enjoy :cheers1:

base rin sa nakita ko sa Sapang Bato at Margot, napakadami pang idle lands ng Angeles ang puwedeng idevelop dito. I think mangyayari ito kung ang CLark ay magiging super developed, kasi meron namang gate sa Clark ang Sapang Bato. Dun sa gate, malapit na dun ang Holiday Inn.
sisigman December 31st, 2011, 12:18 PM excerpt from a questionnaire answered by David Rafael, SM Land senior vice president and head of Commercial Properties Group
Are you more optimistic about the prospects for commercial development in 2011?
Definitely. With the positive economic and political environment our country is experiencing, bolstered by the strong growth of the BPO industry and complemented by our organization’s strengths as one of the country’s top conglomerates, we are confident in going through another banner year. In Metro Manila for instance, occupancy rates for prime grade spaces will likely rise above 90% in 2011, putting pressure on the plateauing supply, thus resulting in upward pressure on rental rates. With concerns on supply in the metropolis, BPO companies are considering putting up locations in key cities outside Metro Manila or in those identified by the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) as the “next wave” cities. This compelled us to build the TwoE-ComCenter. We are also set to break ground for our Cyber Clark BPO building in Pampanga, located beside SM City Clark.

More businesses and projects will be established in Pampanga, so more revenue will be allotted and I can smell progress in the air  Rock on!

Karisma January 1st, 2012, 12:15 PM excerpt from a questionnaire answered by David Rafael, SM Land senior vice president and head of Commercial Properties Group
Are you more optimistic about the prospects for commercial development in 2011?
Definitely. With the positive economic and political environment our country is experiencing, bolstered by the strong growth of the BPO industry and complemented by our organizations strengths as one of the countrys top conglomerates, we are confident in going through another banner year. In Metro Manila for instance, occupancy rates for prime grade spaces will likely rise above 90% in 2011, putting pressure on the plateauing supply, thus resulting in upward pressure on rental rates. With concerns on supply in the metropolis, BPO companies are considering putting up locations in key cities outside Metro Manila or in those identified by the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) as the next wave cities. This compelled us to build the TwoE-ComCenter. We are also set to break ground for our Cyber Clark BPO building in Pampanga, located beside SM City Clark.
who can clarify for this one
hiwalay na building ba un sm clark annex and cyber clark bpo??
i think under one roof lng ito
ang trend ksi ngayon ng sm, mall area ang two or 3floor taz the rest is for bpo na. if you look at it ang laki ng SM CLARK ANNEX 84.K mas Malaki pa sa mga iba existing SM CITY sa luzon.
my conclusion:
HondaFTW January 1st, 2012, 12:20 PM ^^
SM Clark's Annex will be built behind the mall(Meeting Place area). According to that interview, the BPO building will be built beside SM Clark. That is one clarification I can give. Luckily, my parents have friends from the management!
Karisma January 1st, 2012, 01:05 PM for the first tym nag new year me sa ayala center makati. meron ksi new year countdown ginawa sa ayala avenue corner makati avenue beside peninsula. ang saya napakarami tao puno un dalawa avenue party party un mga foreigner syempre nandun ang father and son tandem mayor junjun and vp binay. binay country tlaga ang makati more than 20years na nila hawak ang makati. a political dynasty.
I think separate bldg.
cabalen25 January 1st, 2012, 04:22 PM Pampanga Province
Oh, thought you were someone I had an altercation with. LOL! You sounded a lot like him and had the same siggy though.

Actually, it's a good move to build the expansion at the back since that would be the location of the GGLC therefore another entryway into the mall.

if you actually classify bicol into northern bicol and southern bicol languages, pampango is the 6th biggest ethnolinguistic group in the philippines, next to waray/samar. and we might outnumber them in the next decade.
cabalen25 January 1st, 2012, 04:59 PM repost ko lang ito kasi mukhang natabunan ng New Year Revelry sa forum. dami kasi nagrirequest ng Margot Wakeboard updates kaya eto:
FINALLY, nakita ko rin. The under construction Margot Wakeboard in Brgy. Margot, Angeles City
nice one, sisigman! i do hope ma-fully utilize ang land na yan sa sapang bato and margot cause they're a depiction of a ghost town to me. and being proximal to clark freeport, i'm positive progress would take place there. as to when? that i do not know.

much better if you can ask ur parents about plans for sm ksi un friend nla from management they are the one ang nakakaalam sa plano.
i have 3 questions.
1.kung separate bldg sila sino ang mauuna gawin un sm annex ba or cyber clark? i hope sabay gawin
ksi kung for annex lng un 84Ksqm nalalakihan ako.
anyone can answer this sa mga my insider
sa loob ng sm clark management..
maybe hondaftw meron insider bka pwd sagutin :-)
