Pampanga's Best Brunch

On our road trip last Mother's Day weekend, we only made one stopover en route to Zambales. I expected we would stop for coffee or breakfast somewhere along NLEX, but since my dad wanted to make good time, and my mom brought a box full of baked goodies from Red Ribbon for us to snack on, we made it all the way to San Fernando, Pampanga without taking a break from driving. That was a first. It was amazing too that no one asked to stop at a gas station for a bathroom break. Yes, we all have small/weak bladders.

It was a little before 10 in the morning when my dad realized he was hungry and wanted a proper breakfast. The only place I know if in San Fernando is Everybody's Cafe, thanks to my ex-office mates. I just thought that it was too early to eat anything exotic, so we decided to save that dining experience for another day. Luckily, we chanced upon the Pampanga's Best Tocino store, which also served meals!

At Pampanga's Best - Yes we want to eat here!
It was early in the day and the store had just opened so there was a limited selection of food available. Good thing all we really wanted was tocino and longaniza. Tocino is sweet cured pork, and is best eaten with rice, salted egg and tomatoes in my honest opinion. Longaniza is a native sausage, with many different varieties from different provinces.

We picked Tocino (top shelf), and Skinless longaniza (bottom left)
While waiting for our food to be served, we took a look around the store to see what other goodies we could buy for our trip. They had shelves and shelves of yummy pasalubong, stuff to bring home, from the province. There was an assortment of things - biscuits and cookies, peanuts and cashews, bottled sardines and crab fat, among other grocery items.

They also had big freezers with all sorts of Pampanga's Best products. I would have definitely bought some if we had been on our way home. I was seeing some of the frozen food for the first time, like the Beef Skewers and Premium Corned beef, and I wish I could have taken some home to try.

PORAC, Pampanga—The first-ever college school in Pampanga’s largest town in terms of land area will rise this year after disagreements over the memorandum of agreement (MOA) were threshed out earlier this week.
Opposition Councilor Mike Tapang has agreed “in principle” to support the establishment of a Don Honorio Ventura Technical State University (DHVTSU) extension here after its proponents led by the mayor included the amendments he had asked for.

Tapang said the assurance that residents of Porac will be the “first priority” to study at DHVTSU-Porac had won his support. He said the previous draft MOA did not assure the residents of a “big share” in the number of students enrolled at the school.

In a phone interview on Thursday, Vice Mayor Dexter David said he and Mayor Carling de la Cruz thanked Tapang for supporting the DHVTSU extension.

“It’s a win-win solution for the benefit of the people,” said David.

Tapang said that “my major concern was on how they will spend the yearly P3-million subsidy of the Porac government.” He said he had been assured the local government unit (LGU) will not be obliged to the give P3 million annually for 25 years....

City, finally. Yes, finally, after some hemming and hawing, several trips to Congress by bused delegation of key department heads from the LGU of Mabalacat and frequent follow ups by the indefatigable Municipal Administrator Rosan Paquia, litigious discussion and paper work and the liaison efforts inside Congress, House Bill No. 4736, authored by the hard working 1st District Congressman Carmelo F. Lazatin, otherwise known as An Act Converting the Municipality of Mabalacat, Province of Pampanga Into a Component City to be known as Mabalacat City, RA 10164 firmly ensconced Mabalacat's official transformation into Mabalacat City, making it the third area to form a triumvirate with the cities of Angeles and San Fernando.

It should now be the focus on the drawing board by Mayor Marino "Boking" Morales and his team to draw up a master development plan to jumpstart the cityhood implementation: upgrading of infra and road network, salaries, wages and benefits of the city hall workers, a new and spacious city hall or probably extensions to the existing Xevera municipal hall, a triple "A" slaughterhouse to provide training venue for would-be slaughtermen, instead of being herded at Mother Earth which clerks are that arrogant and aloof, and finally, firming up of action on the implementation of the central business district at the northern part of the city, to complement the now-established Dau commercial and business district.

Then, the issue of the moratorium on taxes as incidentals to the birth of the city, should be promptly addressed in order to calm and allay the fears of property owners that the transformation of the town into a city will normally spell tremendous increment in realty taxes. Flyovers, secondary and auxiliary roads should be built to escape choking traffic especially during peak hours. Basic services should be upgraded and delivered fast without the irritating bureaucratic red tape....

Hi mnemonick... hindi ba pwedeng ayusin yung Dau Terminal... kasi everytime na lang laging lubak-lubak. Then dapat yung mga enforcers doon eh strict talaga sa pagbawal sa paglalakad sa gitna ng terminal, masyadong delikado. YUn naman kasing mga ibang tao, pasaway talaga :ohno:

since may kilala ka naman yata sa may munisipyo ng mabalacat baka pwede mong iparating.

Isa pa, yung terminal ng jeep sa may malapit sa shakeys halos nasa gitna na ng daan lalo na sa gabi. Yung mga naglalakad halos mabangga na ng kasalubong na mga bus :ohno:

PTT Philippines Corp. plans to set up two more oil depots, one possibly in San Fernando, Pampanga and the second in the South.

PTT has a terminal at the Subic Freeport, an area which Wisarn Chawalitanon, PTT president regrets has been tainted with “smuggling” tag.

We will not leave Subic, but we prefer that two more terminals will help us ease away from this tag, he said.

A terminal will cost the company about P250 million.

Two more terminals will enable the company to expand faster, he said.

PTT is a subsidiary of Thailand’s largest oil firm also plans to invest P1 billion in setting up more service stations.

By 2016 it expects to run 130 service stations from the current 50 by adding 15 new ones per year.

Chawalitanon said expansion in Luzon will be at a faster clip and 20 new service stations will be possible possible yearly.

Some P250 to P300 million per year has been budgeted for the expansion.

We stopped over at Mega Station to refill our stomachs after a long journey.
Caltex Mega Station is in NLEX, San Fernando, Pampanga. Aside from other sports stores like Adidas, the Mega Station also boasts of the Nike Factory Store.

MABALACAT, Pampanga – This town’s Mayor Marino Morales dangled P100-million additional internal revenue allotment (IRA) to lure local voters to vote for cityhood in a plebiscite expected to be held here next month.

Following Pres. Aquino’s signing of Republic Act 10164 declaring this town as component city, Morales also assured his constituents of a five-year tax moratorium once Mabalacat becomes a city.

While the law was signed by the President last May 15, it could take effect only once a simple majority of those who would cast their votes in a plebiscite would approve cityhood.

This, even as 1st district Rep. Carmelo Lazatin, author of the Mabalacat cityhood bill in the House, urged local leaders to start an early campaign for cityhood.

In a press conference here, Morales said that cityhood would mean an increase in the local government’s IRA share from P200 million to P300 million.

“So we will have P300 million on top of the P500 million budget we plan for 2013,” Morales said.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) still has to decide on when the plebiscite would be held after Pres. Aquino signed last week Republic Act 10164 declaring this town as Pampanga’s third city, after Angeles and San Fernando.

But both Morales and Lazatin said they expected the plebiscite by late next month after the holding of an information drive on the cityhood issue, as a last step for the official declaration of this 300-year-old town as a city.

Morales said the local government has allocated P14 million to be used by the Comelec for the plebiscite.

He said cityhood would boost the capability of the local government to deliver more basic services to local folk, as he cited as among his priorities the construction of a five-story and another two-story buildings at the Mabalacat College which was founded during his administration.

Morales urged his constituents to vote for cityhood during the plebiscite. This town had about 97,000 voters during the 2007 polls.

He assured his constituents that even after the five-year tax moratorium, no increase in local taxes nor new taxes can be imposed automatically unless any such legislation is passed by the city council.

OCA WELCOMES MABALACAT

League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) president and this city’s Mayor Oscar Rodriguez has welcomed Mabalacat as its new member after President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino signed House Bill 2509/4735 converting the town into a component city.

“Welcome to the club. Welcome to the club of cities in the Philippines,” Rodriguez said.

The mayor said he is happy to hear and realize that Mabalacat will be part of LCP before his term ends as president.

A plebiscite is expected to be held to ask Mabalakeños pulse in turning their town to a city. If majority of the population agrees, the conversion will push through.

MABALACAT, Pampanga—This northern Pampanga town, whose area is part of the Clark Freeport, will be the province’s third city after President Aquino recently signed Republic Act (RA) 10164.
A plebiscite will be held here next month as the final step toward cityhood.
RA 10164, which was sponsored by Pampanga First District Rep. Carmelo Lazatin, declared this 300-year-old town as a component city.
Its two villages—Calumpang and Marcos Village—are inside Clark.
In a press conference on Monday, Mayor Marino Morales said he expects his constituents to ratify Mabalacat’s cityhood during the plebiscite, which the Commission on Elections could schedule after an information campaign is conducted on the issue.
This town stands to be the province’s third city after Angeles and San Fernando.
“The delivery of basic services to the people will be maximized once this first-class municipality becomes a component city. Other programs of the local government to further boost education, health, livelihood, employment, peace and order among other concerns will be realized faster once Mabalacat becomes a city,” Morales said in a statement.
Morales thanked Lazatin “for sponsoring and pushing the approval of the law.”
Morales said he will prioritize the expansion of the Mabalacat College, the first-ever public college in Pampanga.

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— Fees and taxes on sand brought in P459.242 million to the coffers of Pampanga since 2010, a report from the provincial government said.

The collections rose due to high demand for quarry materials by government infrastructure and other private projects, Arthur Punsalan, chief of the Pampanga environment and natural resource office (Pampanga-Enro), said on Monday.

A P50 increase on the P150 administrative fee per truckload starting Feb. 1 also contributed to the increase in collections, he said. Sand tax remains at P150 for each truckload. Based on the Local Government Code of 1991, the province, towns and villages divide the tax on a 30-30-40 percent sharing.

“I believe the cooperation of quarry operators, truckers, local governments, the quarry task force Kalam and ‘hustlers’ is very important to the operation of a system where graft has been reduced to an almost negligible level,” said Punsalan.

“Hustlers” are men who work independently from quarry operators or suppliers. They tell haulers where to get the best sand or rocks, earning between P100 and P300 daily.

The collection figure under the administration of Gov. Lilia Pineda surpassed by P77.757 million the collection of P381.450 million during the term of former Gov. Eddie Panlilio.

Pineda could still improve collections if Kalam and the Pampanga-Enro strictly regulate the quarry and hauling operations of companies owned by local officials or their relatives, sources from the quarrying industry told the Inquirer.

The local civil society group Kapampangan Manalakaran Inc. said Pineda should enforce environmental laws to protect rivers and mountains from indiscriminate and illegal quarrying.

More than 50 farmers in Porac town have opposed the renewal of the permit of Clarkstone Corp. because the company made a large pit beside a river, diminishing the supply of irrigation water.

Kalam personnel last week attended a training on the use of portable weighing scales to help the Department of Public Works and Highways implement Republic Act No. 8794 (the law imposing a user’s charge on owners of all types of vehicles) and to stop overloading among sand haulers.

We also tried the Tocinong Damulag (Carabao) but I forgot to take a photo. Their Tocinong Damulag is in barbecue sticks! Unique way to serve it. They offer a lot of other Pampanggo delicacies like “kamaru” (crickets) and kalderetang itik (goose) among many others.

Cebu and Dumaguete came away with late runs to topple their respective rivals and regain a share of the lead in Baseball Philippines Series 9 at the Parade Grounds in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga late Sunday.
The Dolphins scored two runs in the eighth inning to defeat the three-time defending champion but skidding Manila Sharks, 6-4, while the Uni-bikers overcame a two-run deficit in the final two innings to beat the Batangas Bulls, 4-3.
Cebu and Dumaguete thus surged ahead of the six-team field with identical 7-3 cards, dropping erstwhile co-leader Manila to third at 6-4 in the event organized by Community Sports Inc. and sponsored by Gatorade, Emperador Light, Clark Development Corp., Harbour Centre, Philippine Transmarine Corp., Summit Water and Eagle Sky Inc.
No less than Cebu head coach Isaac Bacarisas blasted the go-ahead run while Ram Casey Alipio tallied an RBI on a sacrifice fly as the Dolphins came through with two runs in the eighth to break a 4-4 count.
Herxel Fortunato singled and advanced to second base on a walk to Joennard Pareja, setting up Bacarisas, who slammed a single to score Fortunato and push Pareja to third base. A flyball putout on Alipio to centerfield allowed Pareja to score for a two-run lead.

‘Biosphere’ facility starts making energy pellets

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Biosphere facility has started producing green energy pellets from residual waste, a city official said.

City Council’s committee on environment chairman Councilor Reden Halili made the announcement Wednesday.

Biosphere is the gasification or waste to energy partnership of the City Government and Blue Steel Corporation.

Halili showed Mayor Oscar Rodriguez some pellets from the facility’s dry run last Monday.

“We observed the production of the green pellets during the dry run…We are hopeful that by March 1 this year, we will dump garbage there and not in Kalangitan,” Halili said.

He added that once all pieces of equipment of the Biosphere facility are put in place and it becomes operational next month, it can already generate electricity for the city and nearby towns.

Rodriguez welcomed the move and said the facility would be a big relief in solid waste management for the city and other municipalities.

The mayor also urged Fernandinos to help in proper waste disposal, as he made his rounds of barangays during the city-wide clean-up day.

“Let’s make cleanliness of our surroundings a daily habit. It will be our part in mitigating climate change as well as averting disasters. Let us all join in making a strong point and be part of the advocacy to make a difference,” said Rodriguez.

Mayor denies existence of open dumpsite

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The City Government assured its constituents that there is no open dumpsite in Lara village here, where the Spectrum Blue Steel Biosphere or waste-to-energy plant is located.
“It is not an open dumpsite but a materials recovery facility (MRF) where residuals are being processed,” said Mayor Oscar Rodriguez.

Rodriguez said representatives from different sectors will be invited to inspect the MRF.
He also said they have discussed with officials and legal officers of Spectrum Blue Steel that the City Government will not agree on continuous pelleting procedures if interventions are not immediately made.
“We found that the residuals, even if these were already treated, are in danger of leeching and burning because of accumulated methane gas. The continuous piling of residuals there, which observers found was due to their undersized shredder with just a capacity of ten tons which should be at least forty tons,” the mayor disclosed.
He added that considerations like hauling the waste to a sanitary landfill were taken up.
“Nevertheless, we have given them three weeks to make interventions. Rest assured, we are not sleeping on the job regarding solid waste management,” said Rodriguez.

MANILA (3rd Update, 9:03 a.m.) -- Although Filipino-Mexican Jessica Sanchez got judges' nods for the first and second rounds of the American Idol final performance night on Tuesday (US time), Phillip Phillips closed the show with a standing ovation.

Both finalists were asked to sing three songs: a song chosen by Idol creator Simon Fuller, the best song sang in their Idol journey, and an original song written for them.

Sanchez opened the show with Whitney Houston's hit song "I Have Nothing" that got judge Randy Jackson's nod.

"Round one goes to Jessica," he said.

Phillips took on the stage with Ben E. King's "Stand By Me."

Judge Jennifer Lopez admitted it was hard to choose who stood out, as both "are a total opposite." She said Sanchez delivered an "amazing vocal prowess," while Phillips was "original" and showed "creativity."

Judges Jackson and Steven Tyler also said round two went to Sanchez.

Sanchez sang "The Prayer," which was popularized by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. She performed the same song before she got in the top 25.

Phillips, for his second performance, took on "Movin Out" by Billy Joel.

For the third round, Phillips got a standing ovation after he performed an original composition "Home."

Sanchez's original composition was a pop ballad called "Change Nothing," which judges did not like. They however said it was not Sanchez's fault.

Jackson admitted he did not love the song but said the 16-year-old singer made "something out of it."

The winner will be announced on Wednesday (US time, Thursday in the Philippines).

Hmmm, based sa 2010 BLGF, P28,728,172.92 palang ang Local Generated Income ng Lubao, I believe na minimum P100M muna bago makapag apply as a City. Pero yung population nila 143K na nung 2007, so by now, sa aspect na yun, pasado na ang Lubao, they just need to work on getting more Commercial Establishments or perhaps an Industrial Zone

you mean mga doctors of pampanga ang mayari nun? im amazed nakapagpagawa sila ng ganun kalaki at kaganda hospital.. sa mga traveller ng JASA Namamangha siguro un iba in the middle of rice field my malaki at maganda hospital sila makikita.

First dreamt of in the mid-1990s by Mayor Marino Morales, Mabalacat’s conversion into a city has finally become a reality.

Few days ago, May 15 to be exact, President Ninoy Aquino signed into law Republic Act 10164 which converts the first-class town into a component city.

That’s as good as fully implemented. Never mind the plebiscite which is still to come in a month’s time. With Mayor Boking enjoying an all-time high in approval and popularity in the town, more and more of his constituency would go all-out to support the final approval by the populace. It will be a walk in the park.

Mayor Boking can only be so grateful. First off will be to Cong. Carmelo Lazatin who authored House Bill 2509. His kumpare from old has been relentless in pushing for the passage of the cityhood bill not only in the House of Representatives (in its various levels and committees) but also in the big chamber. At the Senate, Boking found an unlikely ally in Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos whose Local Governments Committee heard and passed the counterpart senate bill.

bida ngayon ang Lubao ang bayan ko :-) un solar panel na lamp post sa Lubao un we have superb infra here especially JASA at un new 4lane bypass road dahil taga dito sa Lubao si Gloria at Governor Baby Pineda. in terms of establishment or business neighbor town Guagua and Sn Fdo. ang nakakahuha ng magagandang investment. umuunlad naman ang Lubao imagine sa ganda ng kalsada walang traffic in 15minutes nasa San Fernando kana pero pag napuno na ang business ang SN FDO then papuntang west Guagua at Lubao na ang development especially JASA in the future ang JASA magiging ala Edsa ito puno ng estAblisments from SN FDO- LUBAO.

malayo pang maging city ang Lubao.

Porac is very huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge. But it can use Davao City as model. Malaking-malaki ang Davao, pero not all of its territory naman is developed. Puwedeng magfocus lang ang Porac sa Sta. Cruz/Manibaug district atsaka sa Poblacion, at idevelop yung malaking lahar gap (quarrying district) in between.

Geographically, Porac and Floridablanca are very much like Olongapo City, minus the bay. Puwede rin nilang tularan ang Olongapo

FLORIDABLANCA, Pampanga, May 23 (PIA) -- Various infrastructure projects were recently completed in Floridablanca.

Four farm-to-market roads worth P10 million were accomplished in the first quarter of this year. The 1.5-kilometer road in barangay Bodega costs P5 million; the roads in Sitio Kauritan and Sitio Rizalina, both in San Jose were completed at P2 million each; while the road in Carmencita amounted to P1 million.

A total of P15 million worth of various infrastructure projects were also completed in 12 barangays. These included the construction of a daycare center in Sitio Santol in San Jose, a flea market in barangay Solib, and the completion of a covered court in San Nicolas. Among these are the construction of flood control structures in barangays Benedicto, San Pedro and Del Carmen; the construction of multi-purpose buildings in Solib and Del Carmen; the completion of the Dalan Silo Bridge in Pabanlag, improvement of the Poblacion Sports Center and the reconstruction of the San Jose Barangay Hall.

Last February 7, the Senate approved on third and final reading House Bill 4736, otherwise known as an Act Converting the Municipality of Mabalacat in the Province of Pampanga into a Component City to be known as Mabalacat City, which is sponsored by Sen. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Government.

President Aquino signed the said bill into law on May 18, thus making it Republic Act 10164. The President has approved Mabalacat cityhood bill one month after his approval of the cityhood bills of the municipalities of Imus and Bacoorthat turned two of Cavite's most progressive towns into cities through the endeavors of Senator Marcos.

Marcos said that Mabalacat has met all the requirements set under the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended by RA 9009. "The 2010 National Statistics Office survey showed that Mabalacat has a population of 215,610, which is far higher than the population requirement for a city. Also, Bureau of Local Government and Finance certified that the income of the Province of Pampanga for calendar years 2008 and 2009, based on 1991 constant prices, after deducting its share of income from Mabalacat, was P340,424,886.78. Also, the conversion of Mabalacat into a component city will not reduce the income of the Province of Pampanga to less than the minimum annual income requirement of P20 million under the Local Government Code," Marcos said.

As a final step towards the cityhood bid of the 300-year old town, a plebiscite is set next month by the local government.

Marcos also noted that Mabalacat deserves to be a city. "Mabalacat has risen to become one of the most progressive municipalities in Pampanga. It is known as the industrial capital of Pampanga with the upsurge of different enterprises and services doing business in its locality," said Senator Marcos

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The president of the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) assured Wednesday that the organization of the country’s existing cities has no opposition to the cityhood bid of the Municipality of Mabalacat.

Mabalacat is now set to hold its upcoming plebiscite.

Rodriguez, in an exclusive interview, said the conversion of Mabalacat into a city will greatly help in the development of the town and the region as well as affect commercial activity around surrounding local government units.

“We congratulate Mayor Marino Morales for coming this far in the cityhood bid and we hope that everything will turn out well for the municipality in their upcoming plebiscite,” Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez assured that the cityhood bid of Mabalacat will not be affected by the Supreme Court’s flip-flopping decision on the cityhood of 16 cities, which the LCP blocked.

The Supreme Court in 2011 upheld with finality the constitutionality of the laws converting 16 municipalities into cities.

The new cities are: Baybay in Leyte; Bogo in Cebu; Catbalogan in Samar; Tandag in Surigao del Sur; Borongan in Eastern Samar; Tayabas in Quezon province; Lamitan in Basilan; Tabuk in Kalinga; Bayugan in Agusan del Sur; Batac in Ilocos Norte; Mati in Davao Oriental; Guihulngan in Negros Oriental; Cabadbaran in Agusan del Norte; Carcar in Cebu; El Salvador in Misamis Oriental; and Naga in Cebu.

The LCP members criticized the high tribunal for its alleged "flip-flopping." In 2008, the court declared the same laws unconstitutional, saying the municipalities had failed to meet the criteria set by law in creating new cities.

In 2009, the court reversed itself, giving its nod to the 16 cityhood laws. In 2010, the tribunal reversed itself again.

For Mabalacat, however, Rodriguez said the town was able to meet the requirements for its cityhood bid as evidence by the support given by President Benigno Aquino III.

It could be recalled that President Benigno Aquino III signed Republic Act 10164 last 15, declaring Mabalacat as the third city of Pampanga.

Mabalacat Mayor Marino Morales said a plebiscite will be held within a month to know if the people will accept or refuse the cityhood proposal.

LCP officer and Angeles City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan is also supporting the cityhood bid of Mabalacat.

“Mabalacat through Mayor Morales, unlike the 16 small towns which were converted through an illegal, nay, surreptitiously and abbreviated means of doing it in the House of Congress, and later upheld rather suspiciously by the Supreme Court in the new controversial three time flip-flopping decision, merited our approval,” Pamintuan said.

Pamintuan added that Morales complied with the requirements of the Local Government Code in converting towns into cities: income, population and land area.

Motorcyclists may soon have their own lanes on toll roads in and out of Metro Manila if a bill filed by Cagayan Representative Juan Ponce Enrile Jr. is passed into law.

Enrile said the measure will help workers living outside Manila save on transportation costs when commuting to and from work.

Citing data from the Land Transportation Office, Enrile said at least 46,051 new motorcycle registrations were processed in the first quarter of 2011 alone. The majority of those new registrations were by "workers residing in the provinces of Bulacan, Cavite and Laguna but are working in the neighboring city center which is Metro Manila," he said.

He said that with road congestion and high fuel costs, motorcycles are more fuel-efficient and easier to maneuver in traffic.

"Despite these advantages, the motorcycles are considered one of the high-risk vehicles. In 2011, motorcycle use accounted for 2,788 accidents in the country's major highways and toll roads. This is due to insufficient rules and regulations governing motorcycle use along national roads, highways and toll ways," Enrile said.

His proposal will designate a motorcycle lane on the extreme right of toll roads. The lanes will be half the width of regular car lanes and will be delineated by thick white lane markers.

"The toll gate situated at the extreme right of the toll roads is designated for the sole use of motorcycles. Motorcycle operators are prohibited from using the express lanes located on the left-most toll gates," he said.

Enrile's bill covers major toll roads to Manila from Bulacan, Cavite and Laguna and will give motorcycles with a displacement of at least 100cc access to the motorcycle lanes. Small motorcycles will have access to the lanes up to 100 kilometers from Manila. Farther than that, and the lanes will be restricted to motorcycles with displacements of at least 400cc.

According to the Toll Regulatory Board, which has jurisdiction over the Philippine toll roads, there are three toll roads in and out of Manila: the North Luzon Expressway, South Luzon Expressway and the Manila-Cavite Coastal Road Expressway.

Although Enrile's bill does not have a counterpart proposal at the Senate, Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada has filed a related bill, which requires motorcycle lanes on all national, provincial, city and municipal roads.

MABALACAT, Pampanga – The provincial government has allotted P17.5 million for the town’s various projects in health, infrastructure and solid waste management.

Governor Lilia Pineda made the announcement during the groundbreaking ceremonies for the Doña Maria Multi-purpose Hall in Barangay Dau last Monday. She was accompanied by Vice Gov. Joseller Guiao.

Pineda said the construction of the multi-purpose hall worth P3.5-million was initiated of the members of the provincial board, including First District Board Members Cris Garbo and Tars Halili.

“Nung ali pu karela, ali tamu mirenan budget, anya pasalamat ku rin pu karela,” said Pineda.

Pineda said he plans to provide an office for the senior citizens of Mabalacat as well as the town’s health workers in the new multi-purpose hall.

Doña Maria Multi-purpose Hall will also serve as the venue for the provincial government’s medical missions and minor operations, Pineda added.

The provincial government has also allocated P14-million for the Mabalacat District Hospital, said Pineda.

The newly renovated district hospital will be provided with new medical and diagnostic equipment.

^^ kailangan ang flyover sa San Fernando kasi daanan ito ng maraming sasakyan, esp. ng mga pumupunta ng Bataan atsaka Olongapo na galing NCR/South Luzon.

Angeles has no need for flyovers, kasi hindi siya daanan. Mas daanan pa ang Mabalacat kaysa Angeles. Pero marami rin itong upcoming infrastructure projects to ease traffic. They are as follows:

the P277-million widening of the West Circumferential Road in Angeles City; P185-million widening of Clark-Angeles-Magalang road in Angeles City; P694-million road widening leading to the Clark International Airport Route 1 in the cities of Angeles and San Fernando; P327-million road widening leading to CIA Route 2 in Angeles City; P600-million road leading to CIA Route 3 in Angeles City; P600-million East Circumferential Road in Angeles City.

Dito sa East Circum Road ako excited. Pag nagawa ito, magkakaroon na ng circular road that traverses the whole of Angeles City... Yung West Circum Road ay yung Friendship Hiway. Yung dulo nito sa south ay yung palabas ng Paning's sa Telabastagan... Baka gumawa sila ng bagong daan connecting this Telabastagan exit to the barangay of Mining hanggang dun sa rotunda sa may Marquee Mall.

This is located on the intersection of JASA and Lazatin Blvd. near DFA and Central Terminal.. approximately 2Kms away from Dolores Flyover. The Lazatin Flyover will directly benifit the 2nd district of Pampanga and the Province of Bataan, Zambales and Subic area. This project was long overdue it actually approve by our beloving president that time CGMA i think it approve way back in 2008/2009. Last year Mayor Oca in his SOCA (State of the City Address) mention he lobby the 2 project (Lazatin Flyover) and Jasa Overpass to Budget Sec. Butch Abad and DPWH Sec. Rogelio Singson and immediately they give funds for this project and we are now seeing progress of the 2 wonder project. Thats why i like Mayor Oca of San Fernando he is amazing he is not only good in governance he also good in lobbying project to the national government. Job well done Mayor!

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The PTT Petroleum Company has professed its willingness to pour in bigger investments in this city.
In reports gathered by Sun.Star Pampanga, the Thailand-based petrol company was noted to have chosen the business-friendly city where it would build a petroleum depot.

Mayor Oscar Rodriguez said the intentions of PTT is a welcome development, though he admitted “there were no certainties yet” as of Thursday.
“I have been informed of their intentions although not of a formal proposal. But it is a welcome development because having PTT and its depot in the city will boost investments and generate added income and employment,” said Rodriguez.
Locating the depot, he added, would also have to be considered once the intention is formalized.
“Since it is a depot, we might have to find a suitable location for it. Probably we’ll look northeast or northwest towards Barangay Pulung Bulu. Most of our developments like the CBD [Central Business District] have been mapped out and we will not be able to accommodate it there. Still, there are no certainties but their intentions alone are welcome in the City of San Fernando,” said Rodriguez.

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – “It’s so organized.”

Thus said Surigao Del Norte Gov. Sol F. Matugas after she and her delegates were given a briefing on Thursday about the quarry industry in Pampanga.

She marvelled at the “efficiency” of the administration of Gov. Lilia Pineda in handling the industry that led to the highest-ever collections in the history of the province.

According to the report of Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) chief Art Punzalan, the provincial government had collected a total of at least P121 million from January to May of 2012.

The provincial government collected a total of P478,877,500 million (as of May 22, 2012) since Pineda assumed her post in July 2010.

Former Gov. Eddie Panlilio collected P588,155,000 in his entire term as governor for three years from 2007 to 2010.

Former governor now Senator Manuel “Lito” Lapid had collected P34.573 million for two years from 2003 to 2004. His son, former Gov. Mark Lapid, had accumulated P86.601 million in his one term from 2004 to 2007.

Pineda had a collection of some P238 million in 2011. She stands to surpass the collection registered by Panlilio or any other governor for one term.

“With an average of P20 million collection monthly, we stand to have a total of P720 million for three years under Gov. Pineda,” said Punzalan when asked about his projection of the collection.

Matugas, the first-ever lady governor of Surigao Del Norte, said their province is rich in “any kind of materials when it comes to mining but only collect P10 million a year.”

Matugas said illegal mining and quarry operations happened at night in Surigao Del Norte. She disclosed that their checkers “are only present at day time.”

Matugas had “thoroughly reviewed” their industry after she took over as governor “but it was not enough.

Provincial Administrator Andres Pangilinan Jr. said that at least 220 personnel are under the Kapampangan A Lulugud at Matapat (KALAM). Most of the KALAM members are checkers tasked to ensure the “efficient collection and proper handling” of the quarry industry, said Pangilinan.

“Our checkers have checkers, too,” he added.

Pangilinan said the governor had instructed them to “only issue permits they need and not give them too much.”

This, he added, avoided the selling of quarry permits to illegal operators.

For his part, Punzalan said they had also established a board under the PG-ENRO that checks on the applicants for quarry permits.

“If the board sees that the applicants lack the necessary qualifications, we deny them and we don’t have to give the applications to the provincial administration. It doesn’t also reach the governor anymore,” said Punzalan.

Earlier, the governments of Bukidnon and Isabel provinces visited Pampanga to study its quarry industry.

Mayor Oscar S. Rodriguez supports the “Project Kayanakan Yaman ning Balen at Ehemplu Laban Queng Droga (“Kabataan Yaman ng Bayan at Ehemplo Laban sa Droga”). of Pampanga Police Provincial Office.

The organization, called “Kayabe,” successfully conducted a three-day livein seminar with the Sangguniang Kabataan members of City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Project "Kayabe", a Demand Reduction Program of the said office, has been launched to address drug abuse in the province through an organization that aims to provide preventive education and information campaign on illegal drugs among the youth sector.

Mayor Oca is pleased with the results of the seminar entitled "Drug Menace and Values Orientation” Seminar held on May 4-6, 2012 at Hotel Victoria de San Fernando, Barangay Sindalan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, and was attended by 60 youth members composed of the SK chairmen and councilors of different barangays of this city.

Aware of the youth`s role in nation-building, Mayor Oca emphasized the essence of being good individuals who can become future leaders. The Kayabe program is in line with the agenda of Mayor Oca: “Seguridad at katiwasayan, pamahalaang mapagkakatiwalaan” which aim to intensify citizens` participation in the fight against illegal drugs.

Mayor Oscar S. Rodriguez expressed support for the newly implemented K-to-12 curriculum of the Department of Education (DepEd) in line with the first item in his city government’s agenda, “Edukasyong Abot Kamay, Kinabukasang Abot Tanaw”.

Under the K-12 system, children aged 5 years old should now go through kindergarten before enrolling in Grade 1. All schoolchildren will undergo the usual Grade 1-6, after which they will advance to Grade 7 to Grade 10, or the Junior High School stage.

Students will then move to Grade 11 and Grade 12, or Senior High School.

At the end of this educational training, the students should be graduating at age 18.

The K-12 curriculum is also a program where students will have more flexible schedules so they may engage in extracurricular activities.

These details surfaced during the Usapang Bayan segment of Magsilbi Tamu, a television program of city government that had as panelists Dr. May B. Eclar, superintendent of the City Schools Division of the DepEd, and Ms. Edwina Arceo, vice president of the Association of Private Schools Administrators and school director of Proverbsville School, Inc.

The two discussed the benefits of the K-12 program and DepEd`s initiatives in pursuing it.

Mayor Oca, for his part, expressed optimism about the program. He said this innovation in the education system is “for the benefit of the country`s youth.”

The city government, which remains supportive of programs that will advance education particularly among the poor, has funded the construction of eight two-storey buildings with four-six classrooms each in barangays Telabastagan, San Isidro, Del Pilar, Maimpis, Northville, San Nicolas and San Agustin in time for the new school year.

im here in MM last time i went home last Dec 17 for the Giant lantern festival. In Guagua they upgrading the major roads in plaza all the way up market including the street road maybe the construction is finish right now. In Sta Rita they have a new Municipal Hall. In my hometown Lubao they expand and renovate our district hospital they upgrade also the Municipal and Barangay roads all our 45 brgy here are in concrete pavement and local businesses here are sprouting some notable new establishments are BDO, 7-11, Caltex there are few u/c buÃ¬ldings mostly 2 level. In Florida Blanca, Sasmuan, Porac i dont have an update few years ago that was the last time i visited this 3 towns. I hope we can catch up more good investments to come :-)

Kung meron kang mga photo paki share mo. Gumaganda din nga ang Guagua, meron din silang mga pinapagandang mga kalsada at tingin ko mas gaganda pa yung plaza nila dun. Isa sa mga magandang municipal ang Guagua, masipag din ang mayor nila gaya ng San Simon, Candaba at Apalit.

Sana bumuhos din ng todo ang mga business at infra dyan sa west at south east kase napapansin unti-unti may mga nagsisimula ng magtayuaan dyan sa part ng Pampanga.

Renato Unico (1st District, Camarines Norte) hinggil sa House Bill 4298 na naglalaan ng P300 milyon para sa konstruksiyon ng may 75,000-capacity na world-class football stadium.
Humarap sa komite si Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman Ricardo Garcia at sinabi niyang ang PSC at ang Philippine Football Federation and International Football Federation (FIFA) ay nagkasundo na para sa renobasyon ng Rizal Memorial Complex (RMC) upang ito ay maging isang ganap na football coliseum sa Pilipinas.
“Sumang-ayon ang FIPA na magkaloob ng $500,000 bawat taon para sa renovation ng football field at ng stadium alinsunod sa international standards,” ayon kay Garcia.
Gayunman, tutol dito si Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) President Jose “Peping” Cojuangco at sinabing higit na ideal na lokasyon ang Clark para sa isang world- class football stadium kumpara sa Rizal Memorial Complex.
“Hindi kayang mag-provide ng sapat na parking spaces ang Rizal Memorial Complex para sa may 25,000 hanggang 75,000 taong manonood,” pahayag ni Cojuangco.
Ayon kay Cojuangco, amain ni Pangulong Benigno Aquino III, ang Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) ay nagkaloob ng isang grant na $50,000 sa POC bilang preparasyon sa isang master plan para sa isang sports complex sa Clark, na suportado naman ng International Olympic Committee.

“Panahon na upang maibalik ang glorious days ng footbal sa Pilipinas na tulad noong 70’s at 80’s nang ang Philippine football team ay kabilang sa pinakamagagaling sa buong Asia,” sinabi ni Rodriguez.

CLARK FREEPORT — A South Korean firm has started building a P200-million golf clubhouse in a 304-hectare area tourism estate here.

Donggwang Clark Corporation (DCC) will pour $400 million for the construction of a world-class tourism estate, including recreational and leisure projects and a golf course inside this Freeport.

DCC Chair Lee Shin Kun said the project scheme consists of 36-hole golf course, clubhouse, condominium with 330 rooms, water park, spa and gymnasium, eco park, business center, store and function, international school, golf academy and driving range, clinic and drug store, hotel, casino, 500-unit villas and shopping arcade.

Tower 1 and 2 of Donggwang’s Clark ODE County Officetel has also been inaugurated before the grounding breaking ceremonies at the former True North area Tuesday morning.

Tower 3 is expected to be completed before end of the year.

Lee told Clark Development Corporation President Felipe Antonio B. Remollo that the tourism estate project of DCC is expected to be completed by the year 2016. The company is expected to employ more than 2,000 workers.

The project is expected to boost tourism and economic activities in the Central Luzon Region and to provide employment.

The Dongwang commercial building, which is worth $30 million, has 10-storey officetel, condotel, hotel and casino. DCC is a Philippine subsidiary of Donggwang Construction in South Korea.

The construction of the officetel will generate about 730 jobs for Filipinos in the area.

The DCC also currently owns and operates three golf courses and condotels in South Korea.

PNoy to lead nationwide flag raising on June 12

QUEZON CITY, May 26 (PIA) -- President Benigno S. Aquino will lead a simultaneous flag raising ceremony nationwide and wreath-laying ceremonies on June 12 at the historical Barasoain Church in Malolos City, Bulacan on June 12 to commemorate the 114th Anniversary of the Philippine Independence Day, and the 25th Anniversary of the 1987 Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines.

According to the National Historical Council of the Philippines (NHCP) Director Maria Serena Diokno, there will be nine places where these ceremonies will be done. Five of these- two in Manila and one each in Bulacan, Cavite and Pampanga- were part of the eight provinces that are represented by the golden rays of the sun on the flag.

Aquino will also deliver a speech during the commemorative program.

It was in Barasoain Church where General Emilio Aguinaldo temporarily settled in and where the First Philippine Congress was held on September 15, 1898.

The National Steering Committee is tasked to observe, monitor, organize and evaluate national observances such as the Independence Day, National Heroes Day and ArawngKagitingan, will be present in different places in the country for the flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremonies. The committee is headed by Diokno.

Department of Tourism (DOT) Sec. Ramon R. Jimenez, Department of Education (DepEd) Sec. Armin Luistro, Department of Local and Interior Governance (DILG) Sec. Jesse M. Robredo and Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Sec. Sonny Coloma are members of the National Steering Committee.

Vice President JejomarBinay will be in charge of hoisting the flag at the popular Rizal Monument Shrine at the Rizal Park in Manila. It is in that place where historical execution of the Filipino national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, occurred. The well-guarded memorial shrine of Dr. Jose Rizal is also situated in that place.

Meanwhile in the Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite, Senate President Juan Ponce Enrilewill be present for the raising of the Philippine flag in that area where the very important Declaration of Philippine Independence happened.

In the place where the first battle of the Katipunan against the Spanish colonizers occurred, Speaker Feliciano Belmonte will also be the first in raising the Philippine Flag for that day. This will happen at the Pinaglabanan Memorial Shrine in San Juan City where the vital “Cry of PugadLawin” took place.

While Speaker Belmonte and the other representatives are raising the flag in their respective places, Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Voltaire Gazmin will also be doing the same in the Mausoleo de los Veteranos de la Revolucion in the Manila North Cemetery. Here lies the brave veterans of the Philippine Revolution who fought well for Philippine Independence that Filipinos are enjoying today.

At the Bonifacio National Monument in Caloocan City, the hero Andres Bonifacio is commemorated, and in that said place will also be where one of the flags will be raised, as led by Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila de Lima.

Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Ramon Jimenez will be in charge of the flag-raising in the Pamintuan House in Angeles City, Pampanga. This was the place that became the first seat of the Philippine Republic and the residence of the First President. This was also where the first celebration of Independence Day occurred.

Finally, in two of the major cities in the Philippines will be where the other two flags will be heaved. In Cebu City, Gov. Gwen Garcia will be hoisting the flag while City Mayor Sara Duterte will do the same in Davao City.

These simple acts are very significant in reminding the Filipino people about how their freedom was attained and how Independence can not be achieved alone. Sovereignty is not a one-man job, but a national concern and effort. (PIA)

Mexico is the next richest municipality after Mabalacat.

Kung requirements lang ang usapan, baka pwedeng maging city ang Mexico.

Pero looking at it, only 9 out of 43 barangays are classified as urban. it's hard to imagine it as a city.

But then even Davao City and Puerto Princesa City -- both of which are HUCs -- have more rural barangays than urban ones. Kaso, these cities are important kasi and their urban parts are really progressive.

Mexico should have important parts. So far kasi, its progress seems dependent on San Fernando (Southern Mexico) and Angeles (Northern Mexico e.g. Sapang Maisac and Anao)

But what the heck, if Tabuk of Kalinga Province can become a city, why not Mexico!

Mexico should take advantage of having an NLEX exit. Pero so far, Lakeshore lang ang parang development sa may NLEX exit. And not even Lakeshore is as progressive as it projects itself to be.

Dragonair to launch Clark-Hong Kong flights

CLARK FREEPORT -- Clark International Airport Corporation president Victor Jose Luciano has announced that Dragonair, a partner airline of Hong Kong’s flag carrier Cathay Pacific, will start its Clark-Hong Kong flights and vice versa on Tuesday.

Luciano said the entry of Dragonair in Clark is a welcome development as the airline will add up to budget carriers in serving residents in the airport’s catchment area in Northern parts of Metro Manila and the most part of Central and Northern Luzon.

“Clark will have another global reach with Dragonair, Cathay Pacific, choosing Clark. We are now connected to the four corners of the globe with the 150 destinations of CX (Cathay Pacific) and 31 destinations of Dragonair,” Luciano said.

“Our countrymen from Northern and Central Luzon, as well as Northern Metro Manila, who are residing or working in the Middle East, the whole of Asia, Europe, America, and as far as Africa can now use Clark Airport for their travel,” he added.

Tourism will get a “tremendous boost” by the entry of the airline into Clark, according to Luciano.

In line with Dragonair’s launch in Clark, passengers may avail themselves of special economy class roundtrip tickets for only US$70 per person. This is valid for a minimum of two passengers travelling together.

Overseas Filipino workers may also avail themselves of a one-way travel ticket for only US$35. Booking period is from June 30 to November 30.

Dragonair serves in-flight snacks with beverages and also provides a 20-kilogram baggage allowance without extra charge.

The airline has scheduled daily flights for passengers’ convenience and accessibility. Passengers may use Hong Kong as a transitory point to easily connect to other Dragonair flights to 36 destinations in the Asia-Pacific, including 19 locations in mainland China.

With Dragonair being part of the Cathay Pacific Group, it can also conveniently connect to Cathay Pacific destinations in Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East, North America and Africa.

Clark-Hong Kong flights depart at 10:55 a.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and at 11:10 a.m. every Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Return flights from Hong Kong depart at 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. on Monday, Friday and Sunday.

Let’s meet at room 3402 later were words that were being passed around as our luggage was being stowed off the bus and we were being herded to check out the rooms and amenities at Widus Hotel in Clark, Pampanga. It was Lakbay Norte’s last night and a strange bond seemed to link the busload of travelers that were pure strangers just a week ago.

A gurgling fountain set on dark slate rocks in the middle of the lobby surrounded by minimalist white walls gave me a good preview of what this hotel has to offer. Formerly dubbed Hotel Vida, the hotel has now been transformed as the hotel component of the Widus Resort and Casino.

A quick tour of the premises revealed a well-equipped gym, a cozy spa, a curious sundry shop and an expansive lawn with a huge pool that has slides for kids and a sunken bar for the older peeps.

Widus’ rooms are equally impressive. We were bunked on a Family Junior Suite and wow; it was simply beautiful. The white clean walls contrast with the warm tones of the comfy sofa and the dark wood of its cabinets. The room’s soft warm light seemed to be inviting us to just lie down, relax and never go out again.

The room’s amenities include a bathtub with 8” shower head, a refrigerator, microwave oven and a 32” LCD TV with cable; perfect for staycationers. But the thing I like the most about it is the verandah. I’m really just a sucker for balconies, I can stay there forever, writing, sipping coffee or just staring into the horizon for hours on end.

After resisting the urge to lie down on their soft bed, I headed to our rendezvous at room 3402; party time! The Lakbay Norte guys were all ready with beers and yakisoba’s for a night of Pinoy Henyo. The room erupted with hoots and laughter as the game started and I fear the room’s walls were not soundproof enough for the racket going on.

Early the next day, everyone headed to the Salt Coffee Shop for breakfast, one of the three dining options in the hotel. It was the most extensive breakfast buffet I’d ever seen; fruits, sausages, bacons, hash browns, baked goodies, and all sorts of fresh and fried stuff. They seriously seemed to have everything!

The Lakbay Norte bus smoothly ran through three hours of rolling afternoon landscapes at the SCTEX. The view outside was poetic but inside our bus, all hell was breaking loose; the team had just discovered Pinoy Henyo and everyone was rolling and howling with laughter all over the narrow hallway.

We were all plastered and hungry by the time we reached the parking lot of the Mimosa Golf and Country Club in Pampanga. Dinner was gonna be at The Verandah, one of the restaurants at the renowned tee club.

We filed through their well-lit corridor and seated ourselves on a long table in their dining hall. The restaurant was dimly lit with wooden chairs and marble tables matching its wood and glass interior. The team however was still as rowdy as kids in kindergarten class despite the very adult and posh ambience of the place.

A few minutes later and the food arrived. We were served a cup of pork sinigang for starters and was quickly followed up by crispy fried chickens, seafood curry, fish fillet and chop seuy.

Everything was pretty okay, but their fried chicken stood out the most for me, and well apparently for everyone else as well. It was gone faster than you can say where’s the chicken. It was such a big hit that a second serving followed and was also gone as soon as it hit the table.

I’m not sure what’s with their fried chicken, it seemed as ordinary as any fried chickens can be but everyone seemed to be on the lookout for some more.

Christmas season is almost upon us and I've been meaning to attend Pampanga's Giant Lantern Festival for the longest time. Unfortunately work always seems hell bent on destroying my plans and this year's no exception.

So... to compensate for another year of lost opportunity, I guess it would be better that I post the closest thing I'd have to the Giant Lantern Festival which is my Pampanga Starbucks City Mug. Sheesh baduy, right? Well, it's definitely better than nothing haha.

I bought this mug months back during my misadventure at the Candaba Swamp (http://lakad-pilipinas.blogspot.com/2011/04/candaba-confusion-and-sunset-at-candaba.html) and didn't feel like posting an article about it yet since Christmas was still a long way off. I was also thinking I'd time it with my Giant Lantern Festival post which is actually now non-existent.

I distinctly recall having attended a Giant Lantern Festival during my grade school days years back at the Paskuhan Village in Pampanga. I'm not sure if the current festival is still being hosted there or if it even still exists, but the experience was forever etched on my mind.

Originally called "Ligligan Parol", the tradition took root from San Fernando when the province's capitol was transferred from Bacolor in 1904. It started as a procession of lanterns that took place nine days before Christmas with simple two-foot long lanterns made of traditional materials. The lantern designs started getting more and more complex as the years went by until whole barangays started pitching in building just one huge lantern for each barrios.

The introduction of electricity in Pampanga in 1931 started the evolution of the lanterns as larger and more colorful designs were now possible through the use of modern materials. Today's lantern design has an average diameter of 20 feet and is illuminated by lights ranging from 3,500 to 5,000 bulbs.

The Giant Lantern Festival is celebrated on the last Saturday before Christmas of every December and this year's event would take place on December 17 at the Robinsons Starmills Pampanga. For those lucky enough to attend the event, do bring home some photos will you?

There's another Ayala Land in Pampanga bukod sa mga na post na before, sa Angeles din ito (different from Marquee residences)...dami palang Ayala Land dito, 1 sa San Fernando, 1 sa Mexico, 2 sa Angeles....

katawa sa 00:59... yung Clark Airport accdg to their Powerpoint is in Bamban, Tarlac ahahaha

anyway, bilang commuter, ang nilu-look forward ko dito ay mga BUS na puwedeng sakyan mula Pampanga, deretso sa Batangas o Laguna, ganun :cheers:

Para sa akin naman, sarap sigurong magdrive at mag-commute sa Manila kapag nagdugtong yang north and south roads na mga yan :)

Sabagay tama ka, business yan na kailangang kumita pero bat wala pa kayang reply yan siguro di interesado yang disney co. sa proposal, o baka naman sobrang busy kaya wala pang time magreply.

Tingin ko mas magandang maging addict sa ssc kaysa gaming kase pag sa gaming wala ka na namang nalalaman puro lang libang, sa ssc naman nalilibang kana, na222 ka pa. :banana::lol::)

my bayad ba internet sa mobile? ako before my "magic trick" ako sa "opera mini" mobile.
24/7 unlimited surfing via mobile ang bilis ng connection. ngayon di na pwd hndi ko na alam un bagong trick. anyone know this new trick?

anyway ang dami narin pala subdivision ng ROBINSONS LAND satin sa SF,Angeles,Mabalacat..

un Lot sa Robinson's Starmills kanino un? 2001 pa nagopen ang Starmills up to now ala parin development sa likod ng Rob..
i think pinapataas nila siguro un presyo ng lupa mabilis tumaas ksi ang value ng lupa dito dahil madami development satin.

unlike ROB STARMILLS opposite naman sa Likod ng SM PAMPANGA there is huge development BEVERLY PLACE by STA LUCIA REALTY CORP malaki ang beverly place i think 300Hectare pataas un property and take note my 18Hole Golf course sa loob. Sosyal! at neigbor pa nila ang THE LAKESHORE.

@Karisma, nakiki wifi lang ako sa mga establishments sa labas kasi prepaid lang ako dito sa Pinas, Singapore kasi ang line ko e :D
