Yes exactly, that is because the Grand son of the founder is an Architect in the United States of A. He also design most popular bldgs in the City.

^^I have nothing against converting State Colleges into Universities but almost if not all state colleges will be converted into a university in a row WTH...what's with that being university when the quality of graduates so to speak of fell beyond of being a university...better off a college but the product excell more than that of a university (IMHO)...for some UNIVERSITY STATUS is only for fame but not totally aspiring on what a university supposed to be (best above the rest)...what do you think?:cheers::cheers:

its different in the case of government owned institution. Its their ultimate goal to be converted into a University. Conversion will mean increase in appropriation.

Tanong ko lang does it follows the same legacy as the private Universities? for we know in private run schools there are certain provision/standards to be met before it can be converted into a University.
