Very interesting! They'vre taken a traditional European house and turned it into a skyscraper with those deceptively large 'windows' ! :eek:

Such a truely Europa style...With the International trade attitude. The oversized windows reflects the unbreakable feeling from skyline of the Hague. Only thing that seperates the building from the traditional impression is the long-cubicle glass located on two sides and both front and back of the structure...Interesting vie Mystique.....8/10

Typical Michael Graves building... I love the high windows, echoing the high sash windows of the Amsterdam canal houses. I am not too wild about the overdose of red brick though.
Actually the Helicon building right behind Castalia (the two form the Ministry of Health together) is even more interesting with its triple crest of needle-sharp spikes.

Whether you like it or not, if you vote for this building you must also know how it looked like before it was renovated in 1998. I believe this is an old picture of the building:

As you can see, it used to be a real yukkie building. Find the 1001 differences. ;)

8,5. an Really unique scraper.

The shape and overall design seems to reduce the impression of height - there's no way it looks 100m tall. Other than that, I think it's nice.
