i'm afraid with the design they changed the height. because this does not really look like 450m. Although i have to admit that it is a nice design

The developer stated that it will be 450 meters tall and 111 floors. Yes, a good design indeed:)

just counted the windows and the floor count works, so it nly looked kinda small on the render, but won't be at all. the three sides look cool and i can imagine that there is a lot of windwo space inside the building so most offices will have a great view. at least more than in a box shaped building

We are used to skyscrapers having particular proportions, so when a skyscraper is wider than usual it also seems shorter. Palais Royale in Mumbai has the same effect, it looks shorter than it is because it is wider than "normal" skyscrapers.

how massive, we will know when they release the data about available floor space.

To realize how huge it will be just look at the podiom of it. Notice how cars, trees and everything else looks compared to the width of the base.

What a horrible chunk of shit! As always Korea fails to deliver in the realm of supertalls. They first design was downright amazing and this is just a bland glassy triangular Kingkey Finnance Center. It is truly sad how everyone rolls over and drools at a plain 1500 foot glass dick. It is shaped like all Busan skyscrapers ; AKA We've the Zenith, or WBC the Palace. How pathetically disgusting and unoriginal! :puke: :bash:

What Ever dude!!! I think this tower looks great!! Like a Tower Palace and Burj Kalifa hybrid. Busan has alot coming in the pipeline. I invite you to come see it for yourself in person. I was walking by We've the Zenith and was like "Wow" these are looking great. "Glass dick" ouch your wife must love you... looks nothing like a dick:)

Im thoroughly disappointed that they've changed a breathtakingly, forward-thinking design into something cheesy that belongs in the Gulf! :(

droneriot

You gotta be kidding me. The old design was beyond terrible. There is nothing "breathtaking" and "forward-thinking" about crooked towers, it's lazy pseudo-architecture to impress the simple-minded, nothing more.

Good thing that ridiculous "design" got shelved, after the cancellation of the Signature Towers in Dubai it's the second time we've been spared the construction of such a joke.

Well don't pop a blood vessel, but unlike some people on this site I don't consider every tall building with glass cladding to be an awesome and wonderful thing. And on your other point, I have designed dozens of formidable skyscrapers including some concepts that no one has ever seen. Go ahead and don't belive me, I don't give a shit, but you will see some of my stuff coming up soon. And don't be angry, it takes years off your life.

dozens of Korean megatalls proposed, none built. Only the more "realistic" ones like NEATT and Parc1 have a chance, and even they've had difficulty in the financing process.

It's 14 years since the Asian financial crisis, it's just a case of some developers' dreams exceeding reality. 600m towers are never good ideas economically, they're mostly prestige projects, so usually only one per country can or will be built.

Well Lotte Super Tower was already approved in late november, adding to the list of proposed turned approved.

It has a greater chance of being built than the others, but still isn't very likely. It would be awesome for Busan, though, might help redevelop the "shoebox" buildings neighborhood completely :)

Yes, it had little impact in Asia except for Korea. The korean won lost half of its value in the span of 3 months. Many international investers went else where.
