What's te deal with Sun Sports? Are ANY of the playoff games going to be offered in High Definition?

I wouldn't neccesarily say that. We did go 3-1 against the Devils with Brodeur in net in the season series.

I say we have a good possibilty to win the series. My only ocncern is we come out playing like our last two games, especially the one uninspired game against the Panthers. I'm sure the fact that it is the playoffs will motivate them though. :)

They look like they're out of gas to me... That, plus they're just not good enough on D or in the net.

The Lightning are stepping it up so far tonight. It's 2-2 at the end of the 2nd period. This 3rd period (and game) is a must win because if we go down 2-0 in the series we are toast.

Lightning win 3-2. Kuba, St. Louis and Sir Vincent with the goals. Holmqvist stops 31 (?).

Series coming to Tampa.

I was at the game tonight. The place was rocking! :banana:

The Lightning played some inspired hockey this evening, and have put themselves in the driver's seat in this series.

Disappointed at the empty seats, however. :ohno:

Still almost 21,000. more than about every team except Detriot or Montreal..

The Devils might be the most boring team to watch ever..

I wouldn't say the Devils are that boring to watch -- at least not from sitting at home and wanting to see the Lightning win and yet only seeing each team inch forward.

Puts you on the edge of your seat.

Now, during the season? Boring as hell, I will fully admit. I've gone to Lightning/Devil games and was nearly asleep by the time the Bolts decided to tie the game (with about a minute left). THey won it in OT.

59 minutes of boring and 4 minutes of excitement.

Man wrestling is like that sometimes too. But then again all sports can be like that.

Absolutely. And with hockey, during the playoffs? It's huge. Tampa Bay has only been in a few long OT games before where you've sat there with the gut wrenching worry your squad won't score... So many missed chances and you realize one mistake will kill the team (for one game or for the series and the season).

Watching these games, the entire series has been like OT hockey. You can't tell if the Lightning will score next or will give up a tying goal (or lead goal) to the Devils. It's not going to be a blow out by them or against them.

Game #4 was BS... I mean, the Refs specifically.

I'm not trying to pass over the Bolts being in a lull most of the 3rd period... BUt a lot of the calls against Lightning players were questionable. ANd the lop-siding fo the calls was just complete garbage.

Devils are up 2-0 in the 2nd period.

Boo...not good.

Sunday...we can hope.

Well the playoffs are over for us. We lost 3-2 today.

We just imploded. We were up 2-1 in the series and then we just lost 3 straight games including 2 at home.

I was at the game today... It's too bad we lost 3-2. Great energy from the fans but the game didn't go our way.

Hopefully Holmqvist will continue to develop next season, and the Lightning can manage to largely keep their offense intact while significantly improving their defense...

I think it showed pretty poor sportsmanship and support from our fans to be booing the last few minutes of the game. Even if we were losing, look at all the teams who didn't make the playoffs at all. Typical fans in Tampa, what have you done for me lately. Oh, i am a Tampa native too..

The fans gave 100% the whole game. We were chearing for them so loud we left with ear damage. The only booing was during a bad call or when the lightning were playing sluggish. If it were possibly the last two minutes of my season, I would be giving all I have. I am sure they will have fun endurance training next year at "Camp Torturella". :)

I was in Chicago and watched the game on NBC Sunday, Tampa's crowd was incredible... People have to complain about something, even though everyone knows that was a loud building..
