^^Oh,is this part of the new Dora highway ???? koz we have a thread about this and u can merge the two threads,if not,this is cool to see many projects going on in that area.

The other one you are talking about is the Nahr El Mout overpass which is about 1.5Km to the north of Dora.

UPDATE

The new overpass is being asphalted. I heard that it will be open after mid-July. Meantime, they will remove the old bridge and start the construction of the new concrete overpass.

^^ It's a bridge for both traffic directions. They almost finished the section that has traffic entering Beirut (coming from the north) and now they gonna start with the setion of traffic leaving Beirut towards the north. They split the work so that they don't cause big traffic jam.

The Internal Security Forces’s Division of Public Relations on Thursday announced that works on the Dora Bridge were finished and it would be open at 10 p.m.

The statement also explained the directions; the cars going from Beirut to the North should proceed along the eastern side of the road, and the cars coming from the North to Beirut should pass through the road’s western side.

It called on Lebanese citizens to follow the guidance and directions of the Internal Security Forces’ officers as well as the road signs.

You are probably thinking of the Nahr El Mott one, which is just a couple of kms up the road from where this one is.

^^ Are they considered separate projects, because they are very close.
