i couldn't get the exactly meaning from that video,due to the french they used

but i can guess the main idea of it,maybe it's a video that describs the developnment of Shanghai city after chinese opening policy in 1980s,that is the first impression from the first segment of that video..but i found it was a hided advertisement for Grand Hyatt Hotel(Shanghai) gradually......speechless................................

back in late 90's AsiaWeek magazine carry an article about French man (I forgot his name) return to Shanghai French Concession area looking for the house his great grandfather has build,(his great grand father local teacher in Shanghai) ,he did find the house,but the house been occupied by two families since 1949.he spend 300,000 yuan to buy back to house,and spend additional 300,000 yuan to renovate it.
