Excellent thread here pal. I was wondering how this city look like when I was observing the Red Sea coast and the Gulf of Aden with my GoogleEarth last week. You read my mind fro ma distant and created a wonderful thread, my curiosity is now pleased.

This is truely a city of resort hotels. When I visited I couldn't believe how there was literally several miles of resorts and many more under construction. The place I stayed in was packed with German tourists. You won't find authentic Egypt here but it's a great place to relax and the resorts generally offer good standards. It's just a pity that many tourists don't ever leave their self contained resorts to mingle with the locals and spend their money at local businesses.
Hurghada airport is being upgraded. It's currently one of the 5 busiest in Africa due to the huge number of European charter flights.

Wow Seems really great! It's a kind of egyptian Cancun! And it's impressive the size of the last complex.
Does anyone know the average price of these hotels and resorts?

Ive been in Hurghada seven years ago. Its a great place for diving and to snorkel.

not much , Egypt is very convenient and most of the resorts offers all inclusive programs ... for a week less than 1000 euros and the flight is also included
