great find, Calabar has so much potential and Tanapa Business Resort is really an excellent example of how this place can be turned into a world class resort. I will make it a point i visit Tinapa when i am in Nigeria. Well done to governor Duke for taking the lead.

I visited calabar four years ago for the first time and man was i stunned, still alot of work though, but as of now i would put it as the third best city

in fact it's a much cleaner city than lagos and neatness comparable to abuja

never been to abuja, but i hear abuja is ten times better because of the little things, like more proper sidealks, parks and businesses. basicall more public space

how i miss my home. these pictures of calabar are great. i'll return to the marina resort and actually spend more time there, not just the museum.

Why can´t all of Nigeria just look like Calabar and Abuja? I would be a very happy man!

Calabar is really green. More eco-friendly than any other Nigerian city, I guess.

That's because it is near an actual Rain Forest.

the rain forest is about 2 hours from calabar. its pretty green because it rains a tremendous amount in the rainy season and the government cultivates the landscape

Such a clean city...All Nigerian cities should implement a clean policy...like maybe ban plastic bags like rwanda and provide trash bins around the cities...Plus it would have been so nice to have more tall skyscrapers in the backdrop of that foot in the pic...:)

What Happened to this thread, it used to be one of the most busiest in the Naija section. Lately there has only been a few post in the last two and a half years!!! Calabar is still the most developed city in Nigeria, outside Abuja, and Photos of Calabar are plentiful. Quite confusing why this thread went under...
