Nice. It will blend in well with Aurora Place next door.

I really don't see the difference between the two pictures other than what a bottle of Windex and an old rag wouldn't fix?

Scott Carver were commissioned following a limited ‘Expression of Interest’ process, impressing the Client with their perceptive analysis of the potential the building had for successful refurbishment. The site has a front row location opposite Sydney’s magnificent Botanic Gardens with uninterrupted views of the harbour and out to the heads.
The existing 12 storey building was built in the late 60s and had reached the end of its current useful life. Scott Carver’s and the client’s united vision will see the building transformed into a 21st Century boutique office building taking full advantage of its’ assets.
The new Macquarie Street façade is a contemporary composition of transparent, glazed curtain wall vision and spandrel panels with infill windows between metal and stone cladding. A complete internal refurbishment of finishes, services and amenities has further revitalised this building and given it a new life.
Construction is due to commence in February 2004 and due for completion in late September 2004

I've noticed when in Macquarie St that the tower has been draped in scaffholdingas part of the renovations. It's been so for sometime now.

I went by the site last Friday when in town. At the moment, it is just a shell with no sign of cladding.

I went past the site this afternoon and the Macquarie Street side is still a shell at present with no sign of any cladding as yet. However it's rear which backs onto Aurora Place is being cladded. It's being cladded in astyle reminiscient of buildings from the 50's & 60's eg MLC Building, North Sydney. It's being cladded blue.
