View Full Version : C6 - Bulacan-Rizal-Manila-Cavite Expressway
whatuwan October 8th, 2011, 10:34 AM ^^ San yung terminal point ng C6 road sa South?
According to the plan:
At the southernmost tip, it should intersect with the Calamba-Los Banos Expressway
C6 intersects with the CALA expressway near Eton city.
However, these southern extensions are projects in the long term (10-20 years after the original C6 is finished to Bicutan)
absinthe_888 October 8th, 2011, 10:38 AM ^^ Thanks...wow an alternate route for me going to Manila in about 30-40 years from now. Baka hindi ko na abutin to

Pretty good

Planning Democracy October 17th, 2011, 06:38 PM First time to use the actual C6, entered from Bicutan, wow parang 30 minutes lang as Taytay na ako, ang bilis. There's catch though, sobrang moonscape yung ibang parts ng C6 kelangan ata naka 4x4 ka. Seriously, pwede siguro mag hold ng 4x4 competition dun sa laki ng lubak, as in sasayad ka kung mali dikarte mo.
Good thing it wasn't raining, or else those parts would've been impassable, only problem was sobrang init kanina, for some reason sobrang init sa Taytay all the way to Pasig, pumutok tuloy yung tubing na naka connect sa compressor ko so ayun, no aircon tanghaling tapat, torture! :ohno:
absinthe_888 October 17th, 2011, 08:13 PM ^^ Thanks for the update Sir. Kakaiba nga init kanina. :D

happosai October 18th, 2011, 12:40 AM @Shaider: di pa ako nakaka daan dyan. Minsan road trip tayo dyan. Dalhin mo yung land cruiser mo. :ahihihi: este
absinthe_888 October 18th, 2011, 04:32 AM ^^ Nakikita ko dati yan nung sa DOST pa ako, pero closed pa nun. Kawawa oto dito sa C6. Parang DMU.
Ayos.

If you check sa google earth, medyo gray yung kulay dun sa Lupang Arenda, that's because the houses there are made of CHBs, panay dirt roads but C-6 cuts through that place. I guess nakakatakot dun pag gabi at saka pag umuulan, the C-6 also serves as a dike so mas mababa yung Arenda.
Ok yung concept ng C6 pag natapos, short cut to Taytay and Marikina, mas maganda nga siguro kung closed system or elevated, although right now it might not be feasible if closed system, so I guess importante tapusin muna bago sha i-upgrade to a closed system.

Kahapon, Lunes, bagong tambak ang C6 sa mooncrater portions near the Napindan Bridge (last ferry station).

Moonscape pa rin parts ng C6, it needs to be upgraded, di niya kaya mag support ng trucks kaya sira sira. If trucks are banned from passing C6, then sa C5 ang mga daan ng mga yon, so I think best option is to upgrade the C6.
Anyway, C6 is a good "short cut" going to Taytay or Antipolo if you are coming from the South. It will help you avoid the traffic in C5 and in Ortigas Avenue extension. However, yun lang nga, may parts dun na moonscape.

From what I see everyday, it is not a cemented road. It is just a gravel road with a few layers of asphalt on top. Hence, the immediate damage caused by the trucks using it before.

The entry is under the heading Roads to Access Critical Bottlenecks --> a. National Roads Traffic Decongestion --> 1. Metro Manila

You have a point there considering may Php 500 million pesos sa 2012 DPWH budget (http://www.dbm.gov.ph/Gaa2012/DPWH/DPWH.pdf) in the DBM website, on page 138 (209 pages in all). Ano kaya balak nilang design doon?
KOICA Study Team started the FS January 17, 2011
FS to be completed January 2012
Submission to NEDA March 2012
NEDA review and approval April 2012
Detailed Design and Construction 2013 – 2016
Paano kaya ito related sa Skyway Stage 4 Plan ng Citra/San Miguel?
davidwebb February 27th, 2012, 10:55 AM There is a newly asphalted 500m section from the Napindan bridge going towards Taguig. Nabawasan na ang lubak. Sana bawal na talaga dito ang trucks.

I haven't been to C6 in over a year, so am wondering how far the construction has progressed beyond Erap City going towards Cainta.
Dueller23 April 4th, 2012, 09:26 AM PPP deal inked; tollway opening seen in late 2013
THE FIRST public-private partnership (PPP) project awarded by the government, the P1.96-billion Daang Hari-South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) link, could be operational late next year after the Public Works department yesterday signed a contract with winning bidder Ayala Corp.
“We will need about four months to finalize the detailed design. After that, government will have another two months for right of way acquisition,” Ayala Corp. Managing Director John Eric T. Francia told BusinessWorld.
“We are allotting 12 months for the construction phase.”
Signing the contract were Public Works Secretary Rogelio L. Singson and Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, Ayala Corp. chairman and CEO.
The build-transfer-operate agreement involves the construction of a four-kilometer, four-lane toll road.
PPP Center Executive Director Cosette V. Canilao, who was present at the contract signing, said the project would reduce travel time from Daang Hari to the SLEx to about 10 minutes.
“Right now it would take you almost an hour if you travel via the Alabang-Zapote Road,” she said.
Ms. Canilao also assured that low opening toll rates were stipulated in the contract.
Ayala Corp. has said it would implement rates of P17 for Class 1 vehicles (jeepneys, pick-ups, vans and cars); P34 for Class 2 vehicles (light trucks and buses); and P51 for Class 3 vehicles (trailers and large trucks)

Christian_123 April 24th, 2012, 10:08 PM Update:
1: Mooncraters is appearing once again near the Napindan bridge going to Arenda.
2: Road quality throughout the C6 stretch is rapidly deteriorating.
3: Seawalls of C6 from Bicutan entrance up-to Hagonoy-baybreeze exit (so far) has recieved an extra layer of concrete.
4: There's a small road widening going on the C6-Bicutan entrance.
5: There's a small construction activity going on the Taytay-floodway section of C-6.
