you opened a thread for a project with no info, no renders, no pics whatsoever and you are claiming it to be U/C? :ohno:

It is NOT under construction. An article stated two years ago that a foundation stone was laid but nothing else has happened. As far as I know this project is a dream project of Libyan strongman Col. Muammar Gadafi. On the Emporis site it should be listed as Proposed if not a Vision, as it is currently misleading.

How can Dakar be building a 250m!!!?? This nation does not have the funds nor the investment to build something this tall. This may not sound nice, but the building should not be built on the ethical grounds that people are starving in Senegal and a 250m is being built to show the grandness of Dakar? Sorry, but i just disagree with its building. I know this isnt a political forum and i apologize.

Plus, there is a proposed new airport for Dakar. A tower of that height shouldn't be built in Dakar unless it had a central business district. The funds should have went to infrastructure improvements around senegal.
