Tel Aviv muni decided to destroy the current sq. and to build instead a circle sq. like it was in the 30's.
the problem is the trancportation. dozens of bus lines going under the sq. every day from 6 AM to 1 AM. not talking about taxis and cars.
the sq. like in the 30's can't deal with so many cars, buses and more.
what you think about that?

It's better as it is right now, and if they didn't want to elevate it, then they should have just left at street level as it was then.

i think the onley reason that Dizingoff Sq. is in bad shape and people dont like it is the freaks and junkys who walk around there and live there

^^ hey!!! live me alone :D

hehehe, i used the Hostel near the Kabbalah center...i think i chocked on a cockroach when i was sleeping...

Either way, bad idea.
I saw the pkak on Dizingoff in 5pm. As well, in 1930's you didnt really have a road north or south.....so things change...

keep it...but fix it...
i like the festivals that go around the area....

also..they are building that freaking building ontop of the old theatre near dizingoff....

^^ It's a BAD idea, but the current square is UGLY!

They should renovate it properly and it would be fine. Oh, and give that fountain (hamechukmeket) back to Agam and tell him to think of something else, a little different than ALL the rest of his stuff if possible.

Is it that difficult to plan a sqaure?

thanks for a link

that's interesting situation. I think that this square has something what makes that I like it. The architecture of the buildings around is my style. I love modernism and style of architecutre between IWW and IIWW.

what is your opinion about it?

i think it's not good idea becouse of the heavy traffic that goes under the square. that's the onley reason why i object.
