View Full Version : ROME | Torre Eurosky | 155m | 38 fl | T/O
TohrAlkimista April 28th, 2007, 09:45 AM TORRE EUROSKY
Eurosky, is a residential tower of 30 floors of apratments + 8 levels of technique area, it will be one of the highest building of Rome. Located in one of the 18 new "metropolitan municipalities" of the city, the "Europarco Castellaccio" one.
Also this new project will contribute to give a modern aspect to the EUR area.
The inspiration for the project was taken from the simple lines, thinking about the medievals towers, that appear in the roman skyline, such as the "Torre delle Milizie".
The granite-cladding, realized with concrete and steel, is measured by regular holes of the balconies, that create a game of shades and lights.
Though it seems a unique building, the scraper is divided into two main parts both served by two pairs of elevators and stairs, linked by some bridges.
The structure can be defined a "grenn scraper" due to its solar panels installations in the last 8 floors that give perfect electrical autonomy to the building.
35 floors ( + 8 floors for the solar panels)

Pavlvs April 28th, 2007, 10:03 AM New fascist-style skyscraper in a fascist style area.
Good idea.
Sukkiri April 28th, 2007, 10:14 AM On the whole it looks not bad, but the square on top of the left tower looks ugly!
TYW April 28th, 2007, 12:21 PM On the whole it looks not bad, but the square on top of the left tower looks ugly!
have to agree with you
i was thinking, why not a super huge solar panel??
potipoti April 28th, 2007, 03:34 PM Strange top, but I like it :)
thoju75 April 28th, 2007, 04:40 PM weird tower, I don't really like it but that'sa good news for Roma
Phobos April 28th, 2007, 08:45 PM It's a boring tower IMO.
Joe 2007 April 28th, 2007, 09:06 PM I like this one, and I think it's a good modern icon for Rome.
Ralphkke April 30th, 2007, 08:49 PM Looks good.
BMXican April 30th, 2007, 10:06 PM who would have thought rome would built some skyscrapers!
Middle-Island May 1st, 2007, 04:24 AM I'm confused. For over a year SSP has this building listed as Europarco on the Rome diagram, with an antenna on top?
TohrAlkimista May 1st, 2007, 11:08 AM Torre Eurosky, lies exactly near the Europarco complex!
All the project of scraper of Roma, are located in the EUR area.
Kailyas January 28th, 2008, 10:06 AM good design
Dale July 15th, 2008, 07:42 PM Any news on this ? :)
Brightonboi July 15th, 2008, 08:08 PM Not in rome. Please.
LeMoN-SK July 15th, 2008, 08:58 PM Doesn't look good at all. Looks like a proposal from the 70s...
LookingUpToTheSky July 16th, 2008, 07:45 PM I don't like it. Especially in a town known of the colosseum, trevi fountain and the St. Peter's Basilica and many other historical buildings in rome. I espected much more for a tower in a country of high quality desing.
Dale July 16th, 2008, 08:29 PM Any news ?
Boogie July 16th, 2008, 08:59 PM Doesn't look good at all. Looks like a proposal from the 70s...

i dunno, it's okay, but strange as well.
xdexina July 18th, 2008, 06:13 PM horrible top
dont like it:ohno::puke:
roberto0qs July 18th, 2008, 08:23 PM OMG it looks like ARCOS BOSQUES in Mexico City
Jim856796 October 9th, 2008, 05:54 AM Rome rarely allows skyscrapers to be built in the city. There are three proposals for buildings with a height of over 100 metres.
Dale October 9th, 2008, 06:21 AM Has this been delayed ?
ALKUN October 9th, 2008, 07:42 AM it's ok.
Hard to see it from a computer design, we have to wait for a better render.
Nightsky November 5th, 2009, 03:42 PM It has been discussed for many years. I thought it was completed. I think it will be situated in the far outskirts, it would never be allowed in the city center.
