Let´s post music videos of Africa (ex-Nigeria, ex-Angola and ex- East africa into this thread because the latter three all have their own threads)

A solo effort from Arno Carstens who is the god of the alternative rock scene in SA. He is the lead singer of our biggest rock band: the springbok nude girls.

The Parlotones: a new band but they have become massive in SA and have also just been signed to a major record label in the UK and USA (which is very rare for a band out of africa)

Jozi, is a new group that has just burst into the music scene. In the picture, the guy in a red t-shirt is Bongani Fassie, the son of the late Brenda Fassie, its heartening to see him really taking his music career higher and extending his Mother's legacy.

I have to correct you on this one: Suzana Lubrano is not a new comer. He's been in the game for quite some time. She actually also lives in Rotterdam. :)

Here's the video of the Nigerian artist P Squared - Do Me. That song is really big in Ghana right now. I imagine that it will be very big in Nigeria and most of West Africa. I hear its hit the club scene in Germany and UK big time.

HERE IS THE TRANSLATION FROM LINGALA TO ENGLISH:

Stay exactly where you are,
I hear rumors that you're asking where I live.
you've been on a mission as my rival,
For you want to take my husband away from me.
From this day forward, Forget about my husband,
Cos you will not take him away from me.

I don't want a physical confrontation with you,
I have bought truth with my body (An idiom in Lingala - meaning, I am a woman of value)instrumental -
I am hearing rumors about you constantly,
you are obviously in charge of this mission
to overtake me,
well, honey, forget it. Freeze! cos you wont get any closer to my man.
Go back to where you come from.
It is known through out, that I do not let other women mess me around [over my man]
