Is it normal in these place? I've always thought that Jordan was a very hot country...

its a hot place,but sometimes its snowing

actually more snow falls outdide amman itself , and i think as capitals go amman gets more snow than any arabic capital besides amman is not hot and the winter is very cold and wet and it snows regularly in amman its familiar in my life to make snowmen and play with snowballs, any amman climate is med like

It is more than 70 kilometers..
More than that, Jerusalem surrounded by mountains.
there is no possibility that you can see Jerusalem from Amman
or from anywhere else

I think he ment Irbid because i've been to Irbid and you can see the golden dome of the dome of the rock if you use good binoculars.

i livved in amman all my life and again YES u can, not from the center of amman but amman is widely spread because of the 2f houses amman is realy big and hosts (as greater amman) 3 million people ,u just didnt know that .
by the way u cant see al quds from irbid thats tooo far:speech:

^^ also amman stretches to the mountins so nowadays the dead sea is cosidered in a way ammans beach and beyond that the jordan valiey and then jerusalim .:)

yes defenitly (thicker and covers every thing ) because amman is much higher than dammascus .

It haven’t snowed in Beirut In ages….probably last time as far as I can remember it was 1994..the year my brother was born looool…….but it always snowing up on the mountains..farayaa……ehdeenn…ect.

And yeah I think snow in Amman is thinker than the snow that we get in Damas……regardless that Syria as a country gets more snow than Jordan…speaking of countries not cities……..capital cities…Amman get more than Damas.

I’ve been to Jordan only once and that was not less than 6 years ago, didn’t like it to be honest……but I am in Jordan again in 10 days…….people been telling me that its much better than before…..seriously and to be honest…I am looking forward for Petra and Wadi Rum

Amman looks so soft, clean and white when it snows.

Hopefully it snows this year so amman will look great and so that Jordan's dams can get full.

It snows in most countries in the middle east (Not too sure about the gulf region) but I've seen snow in Damascus and it was A really beautiful sight

^^it only snows in Northern Iraq, western Syria, Northern Israel/Palestine, Northwestern Jordan, and in vast mountainous areas in Algeria, Morocco, and Lebanon.
Snow in other areas, like the gulf, might occur but is very rare
