AltinD June 1st, 2007, 10:00 PM This seams to be very wide and they say construction has started and the location is just off SZR: This means the location should be just behind that huge TECOM billboard, parallel to Al Yassat Tower but on the other side of the EPPCO Petrol station and in front of the first row of Tecom towers.
That huge site is under construction and only Novotel Barsha would be so big to fit in there, but we know that Novotel will not be build there. No board of any kind on the site though.

bizzybonita August 8th, 2008, 09:17 PM Realty Capital strives to complete i-Rise on time
Realty Capital says it is working closely with its main contractor Al Naboodah to achieve the scheduled 2010 completion date of its Dh1 billion i-Rise project.
The supply of resources required for the development is being improved to compensate for a global shortage of building materials, in particular cement. The complex is being built at Tecom Site C in Dubai.
"We have very elaborate growth plans which do not leave room for delays to i-Rise," said Realty CEO Marwan Mansour. "This flagship project is essential for us to sustain the momentum of our rising market reputation.
"The recent resources augmentation keeps our construction on track and reduces the impact of restricted construction material supplies.
"Critical decisions such as these are making i-Rise a model not only of good construction but of professional project management as well."
Realty Capital Middle East is a strategic partnership between Rasmala Investments, a regional investment bank based at the Dubai International Financial Center with subsidiaries in Riyadh, Cairo, Muscat and London, and Khayyat Investments, a UAE-based group with a wide range of national and regional activities.

Realty Capital and Al Naboodah are currently on a high in TECOM, the Dubai free zone. The developer and main contractor are closing in on the completion of the 36-storey i-Rise tower, on schedule to neatly round off, three years after it started in November 2007.
For a project that has straddled a global economic downturn, it has been resilient; and the unique S-shaped structure that comprises corporate and executive offices harks back to some of the more striking projects that were planned in the emirate in the boom years.

Realty Capital Middle East FZ LLC has obtained the final completion certificate after wrapping up construction work of its centrepiece "i-Rise" business tower project in TECOM Site C. This certificate officially confirms that the i-Rise office tower is complete and ready to be occupied. Realty Capital has revealed that a number of high-profile tenants have already started fit-out works in their respective offices with the intention to move into the luxurious, 36-storey executive and corporate tower.
i-Rise is strategically located on a premium corner plot in Dubai’s TECOM Site-C and offers a total built-up-area of more than 1.9 million square feet, making it among the region's largest office tower developments. Designed to be a popular Dubai landmark. i-Rise stands out with its unique curvilinear design that enhances its reputation as one of the most prestigious and sought-after office addresses in the UAE.
Marwan Mansour, CEO, Realty Capital, said: "i-Rise reaffirms its position as a state-of-the-art office tower with an unrivalled combination of world-class business amenities, strategic location and a truly exclusive business address. With the completion certificate in hand, we have now started handing over the offices to the owners, who are likewise very excited to move into one of the region's largest and most luxurious office developments.
We have sold a dream and have delivered our promise; we are pleased to have satisfied the expectations of our clients.”
