Malaysian PSCI unit gets $237 million Qatar projects - 11/12/2004


PSCI Industries Bhd’s unit has received a letter of intent from Qatar’s National Business Investment Company to construct two buildings in Doha valued at $237 million.

In a statement on Nov 10, it said that its unit, Penang Shipbuilding & Construction Sdn Bhd, had received the letter for the West Bay Lagoon Plaza project valued at $177 million. The project comprises two 34-storey apartments and a four-storey podium.
The second project is the Palm Tower project involving a 53-storey tower block valued at $60 million.
The completion period for both projects is 45 months.

halawala , what is the nice blue tower close to palm towers in the photo of genuary 22? it is not the same close to the photo of today, the cladding is different.

^^ they are 2 diffrent towers.... the january one is called qipco tower and the new one is albidda tower

Has the pyramid structure in the background actually been built? It reminds me of the floating maya hotel planned for the mexico.
