great184 June 29th, 2007, 07:17 AM Those two existing towers are great already. ow when the third is built it would be the crown jewel of that beautiful complex!
oliver999 June 29th, 2007, 05:19 PM nanjing, one of the most beautiful large city of china. i am only 200 KM away from nanjing
Mr. Met January 15th, 2008, 02:06 AM any updates?
Jim856796 August 10th, 2008, 04:15 PM I liked the second version better, though the third version of this tower would have been a more suitable complement to the existing towers.
diddy May 2nd, 2009, 06:57 PM When will the construction of this tower begin? Seems like everything is finished, design, vid. Wonder what's taking so long. This would be yet a great contribute to Nanjings skyline
Corporate.slave May 4th, 2009, 02:15 PM They look awesome, it's strange to see all this new mega cities showing up everywhere. I wasn't even aware of a lot of Chinese and Indian cities before I joined this forum!
Peloso May 6th, 2009, 06:30 PM They look awesome, it's strange to see all this new mega cities showing up everywhere. I wasn't even aware of a lot of Chinese and Indian cities before I joined this forum!Well the problem lies within western newspapers and culture. Nanjing has been around for 2500 years.
UD2 May 7th, 2009, 07:52 PM ^^
That's true. The only "maga" cities in China that have "popped' up during the last 100 years, off the top of my head, are Shenzhen and believe it or not Hong Kong. Both of which are next door to each other. .
Most the rest have histories longer than... well I'd say England.
Unless you want to consider the likes of Sanya a "mega" city. It probably would in Canada but I think China do these categorizations a bit differently.
Someone correct me if you think I'm wrong.
Densetsu May 8th, 2009, 10:32 PM The current design's really nice. It reminds me the Landmark Tower in Abu Dhabi.

skyperu34 May 20th, 2009, 12:55 AM Very beautiful complex ! Reminds me the Rockefeller Center because of the position of main tower surrounded by the shorter ones...
snapdragon May 21st, 2009, 01:52 PM any pics of how far the construction has gone ?
snapdragon May 21st, 2009, 01:53 PM any construction pic updates ??
SilentStrike May 21st, 2009, 03:38 PM no construction pics cus its not u/c, and never will be i think.
diddy May 22nd, 2009, 12:48 AM Is there any confirmed source of that? I truly hope it will be constructed^^^ It's a gap between the lower buildings (phase 1) that's need to be filled.
snapdragon May 22nd, 2009, 08:11 AM Is there any confirmed source of that? I truly hope it will be constructed^^^ It's a gap between the lower buildings (phase 1) that's need to be filled.
I think it is just a proposal which has been cancelled at the end
NearNorthGuy September 13th, 2009, 01:12 AM Any more word about this project? Will the tall tower be built?
SilentStrike September 13th, 2009, 09:50 PM ^^ prolly not... if there was news about it it sudve been posted so asking for news isnt very useful :)
