Post a picture/photo that shows the entire skyline of a city in Africa. :) Not half a skyline, or just some buildings, but the whole skyline!

This only shows Lagos Island (CBD) before the renovation work that has been commissioned. Most of the commercial development has ceased there and moved to VI in the past years but with the renovation it will come back to life, and we will hopefully see a sharp rise of more high-rise developments!

Not at all, Inertia's picture actually shows half of Jozi's skyline. This picture perhaps gives a better picture although not as clear as Inertia's picture.

In my opinion, there will be a good number of African cities like the ones above in about two decades if current growth trends for the continent continue.:)

It is, ofcourse, the diamond building (commercial):

11 DIAGONAL STREET: Possibly the most well-liked building in Joburg is 11
Diagonal Street. Built in 1984, this glass building is built in the shape of a diamond, to represent the wealth that Joburg was built on.

Angola is a trail-blazer and i have to agree with you, that in a few years time, we are going to see some kind of a glitzy skyline in Angola if current momentum in construction is sustained.

actually you can see both skylines from joburg's 3rd CBD midrand"each cbd is pretty big each would easily be impressive in most other African countries"
but there loads of low-rise hightech"very east asia " buildings in midrand they havent caught onto the highrise thing yet
ps algiers est tres beau je n'ai pas su l'horizon ressemble a celui :)

Luanda's skyline is definately the one to watch. I think its going to be really nice. The current GDP growth of 27% + is just going to see the modern highrises mushroom everywhere. That's what you do with petro dollars, invest in infrastructure and grow other sectors.

Darkar still needs a bit of work and TLC, i wish someone can show more recent pictures of Accra, which looks much more cleaner and organized especially around the conference center and the new Airport city area.
