Harley Davidson Rally starts in Algeria

Thirty Harley Davidson bikers from France and Switzerland are taking part in a rally that began Thursday (May 24th) with a brief tour of Algiers. "We want to reveal Algeria to the world and put an end to the negative image promoted by some European media which continue to speak about Algeria as a high-risk country," said Ryan Fezouine, a representative of the organisers. The rally's route passes through the Roman ruins in Tipaza, Ghardaia oasis, Biskra and Constantine before going further south to Hassi Messaoud.
