ضمن مشاركتها في معرض الخليج الدولي للبناء والتصميم الداخلي والأثاث لعام 2007 (Gulf Bid) الذي افتتح امس في العاصمة البحرينية المنامة بالبحرين عرضت مجموعة سعد، السعودية التي يملكها رجل الأعمال معن الصانع، مجسماً لبرج إداري وصف بأنه الأعلى بالمنطقة الشرقية، ويبلغ ارتفاع البرج 60 دوراً.
ويشارك في المعرض الذي يستمر حتى يوم غد الخميس، أكثر من 195 عارضاً من 18 دولة، وتعرض مجموعة سعد 6 مجسمات لمشروعات مختلفة منها منتجعاً على البحر يحتوي على 250 فيلا سكنية في المنطقة الشرقية ومنتجع صحي نسائي على مساحة 5400 متر مربع تابع لمستشفى سعد التخصصي والشكل الخارجي المستقبلي للمستشفى وبرج إداري يصل إلى 60 دوراً بالمنطقة الشرقية وسيكون المبنى الأعلى بالمنطقة الشرقية ومجسم لمبنى المجموعة برؤية جديدة.

وأشارت المهندسة هديل رادين، من قسم العمارة والتصميم الداخلي في مجموعة سعد، الى أنه من المقرر أيضا أن يتم عرض 8 أفلام تعرض الشكل الحالي والمستقبلي لمشاريع مختلفة كالمستشفى وقاعات مختلفة ومطاعم ومكاتب إدارية ونموذج لصالة اجتماعات مجهزة بأحدث وسائل الاتصال والتقنية ومجمع للأطفال يتضمن حضانة ومدارس وغرف نوم بالإضافة إلى المحلات التجارية المتنوعة بتصميم وإبداعات حديثة. وذلك باستخدام طرق عرض غير تقليدية من مجسمات وشاشات عرض.

I heard about this last week but didn't expect the design to be this good.

I've noticed a relatively large land plot, encircled with the "Saad Group" logo, on Al Kashla road (Old Airport Road) near Al Azizia Panda, that is being excavated heavily for several weeks now.
Can anyone confirm if this is the location of the Saad Group Tower?

Apart from the "Saad Group" logos and the heavy excavation, I've seen that Sipchem is building their office buildings nearby, along with several other buildings coming up down the road like the "Index Business Center" and a medical center. But most, if not all, are 6-8 story buildings. This would definitely look very much "out of place"..

As good as it looks, but i don't really hope for the construction of this tower.

its just that I know it'll get permitted through connections of Maan Sanea who thinks he is above the law! it shows disrespect of the zoning and the regulation of that particular area and the city of khobar in general

Yeah they are kinda spread-out at the moment, and although I would have much preferred to see it being built on King Fahad Road (which already has Suwaiket and Hugait Towers), the decentralization might prove to be a reasonable idea in the future..
Having said that though, lets wait to see if this location is confirmed for the Saad Group Tower.. As of now, it is simply a Saad Group Project, and therefore it could be something entirely different since they haven't put up any signs yet.
