I'm pleased to inform you there was activity at the site today(cranes moving around and hammering) However, I didn't see the main tower's crane move. But at least its some activity.

폰트크게작게메일인쇄스크랩고객센터굴림돋움바탕맑은고딕내 블로그로내 카페로[아시아경제 이지은 기자]여의도 대형복합단지 '파크원'을 개발 중인 부동산개발 시행사 'Y22프로젝트금융투자 주식회사(이하 Y22)'가 토지주인 세계기독교통일신령협회유지재단(이하 통일교 재단)을 상대로 한 손해배상청구 소송에서 승소 판결을 받았다고 29일 밝혔다.

이날 오전 서울중앙지방법원 민사33부(부장 이우재)는 피고인 통일교 재단이 원고인 Y22에 451억원을 배상하라고 판결했다.

파크원은 여의도 부지 4만6465㎡에 지상 72층과 56층 오피스 건물 2개 동, 지상 6층 쇼핑몰, 국제비즈니스호텔 등을 짓는 대형 개발 프로젝트다.

Y22는 지난 2005년 통일교 재단과 부지에 99년간 지상권을 설정하는 계약을 맺고 파크원 공사를 벌여왔으나, 지난해 10월 통일교 재단이 지상권의 무효를 주장하며 소송을 낸 뒤 공사가 중단된 상태다.

이에 따라 Y22는 통일교 재단 때문에 체결 직전까지 갔던 건물매각과 파이낸싱, 시공사와의 2단계 도급계약까지 무산돼 공사가 중단되어 손해를 입었다고 올 3월에 손해배상청구 소송을 냈다.

이번 판결로 Y22는 공사가 중단된 지 약 14개월 만에 손실을 일부 보전할 수 있게 됐다.

Y22 관계자는 "통일교 재단은 파크원 관계자들이 입은 막대한 손해에 대해 배상책임을 져야 할 것"이라며 "공사가 정상적으로 진행되기까지 발행할 손해에 대해서도 추가로 손해배상을 청구할 계획"이라고 말했다.
