I wonder why it is called Marhaba hotel chain, as the project was launched by Accor group. Generally speaking, I think that they should have been more creative with the building design. It is extremely bland and unoriginal madao March 5th, 2008, 09:08 AM it looks like a building of the 50/60's Mister79 March 5th, 2008, 10:55 AM The building looks old.. The design is 50 years old... Casablanca center needs modern buildings and modern architecture just like other cities in the world.. karim aboussir March 5th, 2008, 06:05 PM I hate to sat this but CASABLANCA CITY SUCKS ! other moroccan cities are nicer better cleaner and even becoming more modern Redalinho March 5th, 2008, 06:07 PM It's an old building and it's not UC but under renovation karim aboussir March 5th, 2008, 06:42 PM oh ok redalinho ok I was gonna say ok renovation that is better but they need to renovate all the other buildings in mohammed 5 boulevard and avenue de l'armee royale and of course some glass buildings along the renovation would highlight casablanca to a much better financial center these people in casablanca are so slow bedaoui mentality is very slow to me casablanca thinking is SLOW ! move act get going !! melalj March 6th, 2008, 09:17 AM This building is not part of Casa City Center, it's the old Marhaba hotel build in the sixties with 15 stories... The renovation has begun early in 2002 with the purpose of keeping the original design but with 21 stories and it's on stand by since 2005, I wonder if it 's still on stand by... Mister79 March 6th, 2008, 12:18 PM I don't understand why they gonna renovate an old building from the sixties (The design is not so amazing). They can better break it down and build another modern hotel... I don't know who the boss is in Casa but he of she can better look to other cities in Africa what they are going to build for new high modern buildings (Tunisia, Algeria, Nigeria, Angola, Senegal etc)... And those are more specteculair then any new building in Casa.. This are not the sixties anymore but the 21 century. Casa needs building made for the 21 century... Casablana should take an example to Tunisia new buildings project http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=534526 karim aboussir March 6th, 2008, 06:22 PM a building from 50's 60's is fine as long as you modernise it and casablanca politians are clowns I see a huge difference between marrakech and casablanca someone is doing something right in marrakch but casablanca no way it needs so much more work Rabat_M6_lover March 6th, 2008, 10:08 PM casa need just real dirigeants no wayyyyy like that's i think chefchaoun will b more importnat then casa really shame casa the biggest city in the maghreb and 3 in africa must be a real citu comme meme |
