No I was a seperate invited guest of the bid committee that was brought into Abuja to inspect for myself . The evaluation committee for the federation just happened to be their and their impressions of Abuja were very positive.
Of course there is work to be done as the chair for the Evaluation committee put it but I sensed that the evaluation committee had a great time and John Tierney even said at the press conference that he would certainly enjoy himslef at an Abuja hosted commonwealth games.
Mo Rush if you want the evidence please shoot me your e mail address and I will send you pictures of the boarding pass , my internet cards at the Transcorp Hilton and other things that would be hard to produce. That is me doing a snow angel on the field in Abuja National Stadium.

quite possible, the best part is that it will accelerate the transport projects from the rail link from the airport to the road infrastructure across the city.
ticket prices and getting good crowd attendance should be focussed on after november.

well mo rush you and I my disagree about the quality of the Glasgow 2014 bid but frankly I think you probably see that my prediction may not be far off the mark . new dehli with a 46 to 22 victory over hamilton for the 70th aniversery
of the CWG's The means test for training funding is a huge faux paux on Glasgows part.
Thru my involvement a nigerian sports figure I have been told that traditional supporter of a great britian hosted games is leaning heavily towards abuja.
