I'll go along with 8/10. I lived in St. Paul for a few years and am very familiar with this building. It's a fine piece of Richardsonian Romanesque, although only Richardson himself would merit a 10, I think.

Where do people get this notion of "plastic"? This building is authentic sandstone construction.

Where do people get this notion of "plastic"? This building is authentic sandstone construction.I think people are saying it looks plastic because of the lighting in the first photo and the fact that it is still in very good condition. It certainly doesn't look plastic in real life.

I gave it 8/10, it is a nice building and fits in well in downtown St Paul.
