That's in HK back in the 70s and 80s. Heritage wasn't an issue. Anything obstructed new developments were torn down, not just the post office, but the old Hong Kong Club and old HSBC as well. Everything in that area was full of European architecture back then.

That's the sad side; but without doing that, it would not have the HK now. Things change some times although I am against the demolition of Star Ferry and Queen's Pier today.
