interesting design, well to know the height u can use the tape measure, start from the bottom the start going up in a straight line make sure u hold shift, then just drag the mouse to the top part and you should get the height in the bottom corner of your screen :D
my advice for you is detail, detail, detail

looks to be a good start of a design.
make sure you remember to reverse face on areas that show blue, in this case your roof top, you can right click on the face and choose reverse face on the menu.

^^ thanx you 2, but I don't get the height, with my new building there is standing: 843' 3 1/2" , is it in meters or...inches???

You can adjust it like this:

Window > Model Info > Units

Than just choose what you want in the "Length Units" section.

why go throught throuble of reversing it if you're going to paint over it anyways?

I think it has something to do with when you want to render it.

That's true. For rendering you have to put all faces with the white side out. You can see if you did it on all faces like this:

View > Face Styles > Monochrome

Every face with a purple color needs to reverse.

Joey and Gijs beat me to it. :)
yes it has to do with rendering.
