MDguy June 25th, 2007, 02:07 AM WOW! impressive looking museum and I really like the location of it. Nice!
Phobos June 25th, 2007, 02:16 AM This project is surreal. The architecture is wonderful and the landscape is even better.
KoolKeatz June 25th, 2007, 02:34 AM Amazing project!!! The location is perfect for this tower. Ive heard from it some years ago. Guadalajara will become the new Bilbao.
city_thing June 25th, 2007, 04:31 AM Guadalajara will definetly recieve many more tourists now. Hopefully the Bilbao effect will apply here as well.
It's a great tower/gallery. I'm very happy (and a bit jealous) for Guadalajara.
Goothrey June 25th, 2007, 06:13 AM Anybody else notice the giant naked woman? It caught me off guard.

i hope this museum atracts as much turism as it did with Bilbao.
José. June 25th, 2007, 09:25 PM I like the design. I've read in other threads that it hasn't started jet, do you guys know when will it start? and how long will it take to finish it? When it's done I'm thinking about scheduling a visit, but I'll probably be there before that. And by the way, beautiful canyon!
E -zone ³ June 25th, 2007, 09:41 PM ^^ there's no an exact date of construction, but it's been said in the media that i'll probably start early the next year.
Ginza June 25th, 2007, 11:24 PM It all depends on whether the city can afford such monumental project
Hankster June 26th, 2007, 02:53 AM I was lucky enough to see this area way back in the 80's. The canyon and waterfall are spectacular. What a beautiful project to compliment this place!!! I certainly hope this get built; and, if built, this would be a world landmark building, in my opinion.
philbern June 26th, 2007, 04:20 AM The gorge is fabulous. Other than its interior, this monolith aka museum is a desecration to its immediate surroundings. It is Vegas in Mexico, to put it nicely. I hope this building does not get built.
cmc June 26th, 2007, 07:26 AM the museum overall is great.....and the location is perfect.
satit28 June 26th, 2007, 08:48 AM the location is spectacular.........
VelesHomais June 26th, 2007, 10:05 AM Wow, this country keeps surprising me, very nice
radoner June 27th, 2007, 04:26 AM I just love it, I´m pretty sure that when i´ts finished it will become an architecturar landmark for Mexico and the rest of Latin America
Aztec Eagle June 28th, 2007, 06:49 AM Wow! its very impresive and elegant, NOT a place where a person whos afraid of height can go to.
Phriggin' Ogre June 29th, 2007, 03:44 AM Not too sure if I like the overall look of the building, but it has a great interior, and I'm just glad that Guadalajara will be getting a world renowned museum. :) The surroundings can make just about any building that much more appealing. :P
ROYU June 29th, 2007, 04:37 AM This project is just amazing and the landscape around it is gorgeos. Hope construction begin soon.
PoLy_MX November 11th, 2007, 04:56 AM Guggengeim will be one of the most amazing buildings in Latin America :D
BOM November 11th, 2007, 05:00 AM This will put Guadalajara on the map
: D
No kidding, I would love to spend a day in Guadalajara.
jamude18 November 11th, 2007, 05:21 AM very nice location!
xlchris November 11th, 2007, 11:55 AM Beautiful location, one of the best museums! That's how a museum should look like, just simple and big!
Eric Offereins November 11th, 2007, 01:46 PM The gorge is fabulous. Other than its interior, this monolith aka museum is a desecration to its immediate surroundings. It is Vegas in Mexico, to put it nicely. I hope this building does not get built.
I couldn't agree more. They should build it somewhere in the city where it will not spoil this landscape.
mbuildings November 11th, 2007, 02:29 PM stunning!!!!!!!
a77 November 11th, 2007, 10:08 PM gr8 idea!!! you can see the location in google earth...I think is 20°44'26.98"N 103°18'38.10"W
Jim856796 July 6th, 2008, 09:37 PM If this building is constructed, it would be the world's tallest museum. I don't know what's the world's tallest museum now. But I don't know if the height of a museum should exceed about 50 to 100 metres. The museum has only 24 floors, so the building may have very high ceilings.
cheeps July 6th, 2008, 10:34 PM Fantastic design. I continue to be amazed at the projects that are being created. The design using the gorge and the surrounding landscape as a work of art. I truly would love to see something this daring in Chicago.
sämelihülz July 6th, 2008, 11:22 PM The view from the top must be so amazing, hope it will be approved :)
Angelino July 7th, 2008, 09:17 AM Incredible design, fantastic location. I agree with others who say this will put Guadalajara on the map. Toursits from throughout the world will come to Guadalajara to experience this fabulouse museum in such a spectacular setting.

Boogie July 9th, 2008, 11:37 PM I am impressed!
Aubergine July 10th, 2008, 01:13 AM 1. I love the philosophy behind the Guadalajara gug - the natural art and the man made art visible together - just love that! The design is spectacular, too.
2. I like all the gugs, except NYC's. Never liked it much.
