Amazing project!!! The location is perfect for this tower. Ive heard from it some years ago. Guadalajara will become the new Bilbao.

Guadalajara will definetly recieve many more tourists now. Hopefully the Bilbao effect will apply here as well.

It's a great tower/gallery. I'm very happy (and a bit jealous) for Guadalajara.

I like the design. I've read in other threads that it hasn't started jet, do you guys know when will it start? and how long will it take to finish it? When it's done I'm thinking about scheduling a visit, but I'll probably be there before that. And by the way, beautiful canyon!

It all depends on whether the city can afford such monumental project

I was lucky enough to see this area way back in the 80's. The canyon and waterfall are spectacular. What a beautiful project to compliment this place!!! I certainly hope this get built; and, if built, this would be a world landmark building, in my opinion.

The gorge is fabulous. Other than its interior, this monolith aka museum is a desecration to its immediate surroundings. It is Vegas in Mexico, to put it nicely. I hope this building does not get built.

Not too sure if I like the overall look of the building, but it has a great interior, and I'm just glad that Guadalajara will be getting a world renowned museum. :) The surroundings can make just about any building that much more appealing. :P

I couldn't agree more. They should build it somewhere in the city where it will not spoil this landscape.

If this building is constructed, it would be the world's tallest museum. I don't know what's the world's tallest museum now. But I don't know if the height of a museum should exceed about 50 to 100 metres. The museum has only 24 floors, so the building may have very high ceilings.

Fantastic design. I continue to be amazed at the projects that are being created. The design using the gorge and the surrounding landscape as a work of art. I truly would love to see something this daring in Chicago.

1. I love the philosophy behind the Guadalajara gug - the natural art and the man made art visible together - just love that! The design is spectacular, too.

2. I like all the gugs, except NYC's. Never liked it much.
