Hey people!

Here a new Project in my city, the new Dish Hotel. The tower will, when everything is alright, going under contruction in januari 2008. The tower will contain a hotel and 100 appartments. The tower will be 128.1 meter high. Not a misserable hight for a city counting only 153.000 inhabitants.

There will be a swiming pool at the 4th floor. The exterior of the tower will be brown bricks. The shape most remind us to the old fabric pipes.

MORE NEWS:

In the same street, between this project and the other project I calt in this thread (HTS tower), will rise 2 towers. The towers will become 80 and 86 meters (240ft and 258ft) high. The great thing about it, is that it will connect the skyline and bring the skyline together.

Keep in mind this tower will become extraordinary slim. It must remind us to the cotton industry (the pipes of fabrics). The way this building will become under construction is quite weird. Normaly they first put the appartments for sale, and after 50% is sold, they begin with proceding. Right now, they are proceding so the building can be build, but it's not for sale. The mean question is: are they building it on risk? That would be a giant risk for such a small town with this kind of a big tower.

It's nice for Enschede. There ain't a lot of highrise in Eastern Netherlands at all. 128 meters is a fair hight for most Dutch cities.
