Rasamas debuts in Sarawak


KUCHING: Restaurant chain Rasamas has opened its first Sarawak outlet and plans to expand throughout the state soon.

Operated by KFC Holdings (M) Bhd, Rasamas officially launched its new restaurant at the Boulevard Shopping Mall here on May 17.

The new outlet on the ground floor of the mall has a seating capacity for 138 diners.

KFC Holdings chairman Tan Sri Muhammad Ali Hashim said Rasamas intended to open more outlets in Sarawak.

He also said Rasamas aimed to open 12 new outlets annually over the next few years.

Rasamas currently has 28 outlets throughout the country.

In addition, Muhammad said Rasamas was on the lookout for good local recipes that could be included in its menu.

“We may organise cooking competitions for the public and adopt the successful dishes,” he said.

Muhammad also handed over donations of RM3,000 each to Rumah Kanak-Kanak Datuk Ajibah Abol Sri Aman, Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society, Sarawak Society for the Blind, The Salvation Army and the Sarawak Association for the Welfare of Orphans.

hi all, errm anybody notice structures at the exit of the carpark very close to the street - they look suspiciously like pay booths.. - is boulevard gonna start making people pay to; wait in traffic just to enter the parking space; fight your way through the crowds (especially to get to the supermarket anybody else notice it's a bit tight around there?... and then there's always those people there trying to sell stuff); make you wait, again, to get out of the place to...; get back on to the almost-jammed street? (ok to be fair i haven't been for a while but seriously they're gonna make people pay to park there if they haven't already)

alamak..dats dem ugly....at 1st look....i tot it was a warehouse or factory!!!

the colour..were those photos taken in the 80's?
