DOHA • MAN, one of the world's leading manufacturers of a wide range of coach buses, city buses, trucks and other kinds has recently held their world conference in Dubai.
Using the world-class Karwa-branded coach buses, MAN showcased a number of Karwa Coach Buses at the Emirates Mall, Jumeirah Beach, Arabian Park, Dubai and was well attended by media outfits, VIPs, guests and visitors from the Gulf.
The event that placed Karwa Coach Buses on display for several days had also made the buses travel from Doha to Dubai and back to Doha in its unprecedented journey a first of its kind in GCC, making a successful debut travel by Mowasalat.
Karwa Coach Buses from MAN accommodates a cozy and comfortable 46 reclining seats and boasts of facilities as passenger address system, am/fm centralised radio, on-board DVD/VCD video capabilities, built-in convenient toilet and a customary refrigerator as standard features of the Karwa transport experience.
Currently, Mowasalat, the State-owned transportation company in Qatar runs about 3,000 cars under the Karwa brand with taxi varying from rankings in the busiest city locations, taxis equipped with digital radio system to service the call centre market-segment, new airport taxis, new handicap taxis, and the new pick-up carriage taxi units, and its Doha Limousine services that are ranked in major hotels, the airport and can also be acquired thru booking services from the call-center.
Mowasalat also runs an almost 24-hour daily basis of mass transport numbering to a growing fleet of 1,800 units servicing public bus routes, for hire coaches and VIP coaches and the school bus system.
