Wayne Garcia and the folks at Creative Loafing/The Weekly Planet are conducting their annual "Best of the Bay" poll. This stuff includes best neighborhood, Best local politician, local celebrity you love to hate (and hate to love), best restaurants, etc...

The poll closes on August 8th. I dunno when they will publish the results (and Creative Loafings own picks for certain topics).

After you submit your vote, it tells you the issue comes out September 19th.

Also, it says there will be an award show for the winners and losers on September 24th at the Tampa Theatre.

I recommend people put down this web site as Tampa's best kept secret. Even if it doesn't win, it coudl end up getting accolades from the Creative Loafing staff (they make there own awards that people don't vote on as well as the people's-vote-Best-Of-The-Bay)

Everyone vote for Hat Trick Heroes as the best local band, because they are, and they are recording their album, and these local kids are only 17
