yea, gonna try out the wedding scene...I'll post some photos once I get them loaded up and selected.

only making 100$...but thats all profit as I don't know what they wanna do for printing and an album.

next wedding, 300$. :ohno: I gotta stop giving good deals

So how did it go?

Get any leads for more work? Sometimes if people see you shooting an event and it looks like you're doing a good job, they'll ask you to shoot their event, and before you know it, you're in business.

yep, they also do baptisms, retirement parties and funerals for a fee:)

Now, Id love to see Martin parr shoot a baptism or a funeral. that would be interesting.

Martin Parr works for Magnum. They sell photographs. Usually they shoot documentary photos on speculation that they might sell an iconic image now and then. That situation gives them artistic freedom, but does not guarantee a steady income. Many of Magnum's photographers also work on contractual assignments in order to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads. Martin Parr, for instance, didn't start out as a famous photographer, he had to take on teaching assignments for 25 years to support his freelance photography career.
