I also think the Bejing picture deserved to win... but I also find the London picture to be amazing. The "Amlux" picture deserved more votes, IMHO it has a somewhat surrealistic feel to it.

I don't mind being #2, but I was expecting the Beijing Pic to be #1 at the least.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed my San Francisco Vista pic! I must also thank UrbnerdSF (or Wonkified as he calls himself now) for driving me around San Francisco to get me that spectacular jaw dropping shot.

to be honest i didnt like the beijing pic very much at all and was surprised it was so popular, far to grey for my liking and even worse it has a macdonalds sign.
i did like the amlux building and the san francisco one.

:cheers: I think that was the contrast he was trying to get - the bright colourful McDonalds sign with the grey of old Beijing. I think you deserved to win though Gothic - lovely picture. ;)

I admit I preferred pict 2 to. No offence, but somehow I felt the other pictures are more like the product of being at the right place and the right time....anyone can just point and shoot. Picture 3, thou, is likely to be the product of a keen eye, being able to scount a great location to put it all together, and perhaps even luck.
Still, congrats to the winner!! ;)
