Thanks for the comments guys. :) On the way home yesterday, we drove right through this: http://www.thetandd.com/articles/2007/07/12/news/doc4695a421e3840071240807.txt It was one of the scariest moments of my life literally. The tires on the left side of our car actually came off the ground at least a foot or two and the winds swerved us from the left to the right lane. These two trucks flipped on their side no more than two-three miles ahead of us. In fact, just about 10 minutes earlier, they had passed us. When we got to the scene, we stopped and made sure nobody was hurt. Thank god there were no injuries. No emergency vehicles had arrived yet. After a few minutes, we left and then a couple miles down the road there was a tree blocking one lane, but luckily a state trooper had just arrived to secure the area. I was going to take pictures of the scene right after it happened, but I was so worked-up I couldn't even find my camera, which I found out later was actually in my lap. I even forgot I had a cell phone in my pocket with a camera on it. :poke: Definitely something I do not want to be in again. Luckily, there was no hail.

Hey, I am glad you and your family/friends are fine. It is truly not fun to get involved into an accident.

Whoa man, I thought that only hit Augusta. Glad you made it okay.

Awesome! I thought I was going to see something similar to Key West, however, in my opinion, Charleston looks way better! :) Kings street and the bridge were really nice, the latter being very impressive.

Greetings.

great to see chucktown again. i miss it. i can't wait to get back to sc for a visit, only about 2 weeks left. glad you're o.k...bridges in high winds are scary. i was on my way to newark airport during the noreaster in april, and kept thinking, "this wind could blow the bus off into that marsh...i'll either drown or melt in that crap down there. ugh."
