Is it just my inferior Northern upbringing, or is it the ultimate complement to the cook if I lick my plate? How many of you out there can admit to indulging in such filthy behaviour, and is this a habit best kept to the privacy of your own home, or would you be daring enough to be seen doing this in public?

My wife swears the neighbours saw us at it the other night, and she got quite excited! Hey, fuck viagra, licking your plate in public could possibly be the perfect answer to a tired relationship. :lovethem:

Actually, it is just one of those things that has always made me balk... like dribbling spit then sucking it back in or sharing chewie with your male mate.. maybe I'm just nesh, rather than sophisticated!

As a sophisticated Lancastrian I use bread, preferably an oven bottom muffin to mop up my meat and potatoe pie.

D'ya know, I don't know if ice cream has E-numbers in it. I haven't noticed that I become super-hyper after eating it anyway, that'll be Curly Wurlys and candyfloss that have that effect on me. :shifty:
