The rectangular bit helps to anchor the circular portion nicely and the two forms of facade prevent any monotony from setting in.

it looks ok but i give it a 6.5/10 it looks like they slapped the Westin Peachtree in Atlanta into a tall, red box and put it in Frankfurt

good the see a nice pic of the bar and restaurant there ont eh top. The view is absolutely fab from there. the beer is also nice ;)

nice tower, symphatetic. the antenna is way too large. the colors are nice. yeah, 'nice', resembles my total opinion on this skyscraper. 7.5

THis is my favourite tower in the whole of Europe!! Simply fantastic glass, facade and overall shape.. Would have looked better if it didn't have that blockish attachment but still.. It rocks! :guns1:

Great building

great scraper, one of the best in europe. a 9. i've been up it, love the facade, and the views of commerzbank.

trianon however is probably the most underrated scraper the whole world. absolutely awesome - someone should whack some photos of that up on the forum.

Well, I see I didn't reply right after I voted....

The facades can certainly dance with the light...
BUT
That cylinder looks like a huge role of paper towels, it doesn't blend well with the other part of the tower at all, it has *YET*ANOTHER*DULL*FLAT*ROOF, and that antenna is hideous...

Am I the only person who doesn't like it? What is so "unique" and "stunning" about this building? Some of the comments I've seen here seem a bit over the top.

It's really nothing special. I find the majority of Frankfurt's towers are overrated, and this is one of them. Nice, but fairly average 7/10.

I really like this building. I believe its got the perfect height for its design. Also the facade is just great.
Although personally I dislike the "conclusion" of the skyscraper with the red and white mast. But then that's me.
