really??? may expansion ang gaisano citymall ng cagayan de oro??? haven't heard talaga. i work there kasi part-time in one of the restos in the mall. and never did i hear news about that lately. well, if naa lang magpakita at least ug rendering, then that would absolutely be great, as it would be informative enough for everyone. but i just really hope that an expansion would really push through. as i've observed kasi, pag sundays, grabe ka crowded ang mall during lunchtime. labi na now na naa na ang nazareno. pag ting sweldo pud during 15th and 30th, same scenes happen both sa supermarket at saka sa mga fastfood chains. its very strategic kasi. a commercial center along the highway.

sana nga rin ma push through na kung ano man ang plans sa unused space na nasa tapat ng mall, yung property ba ng floirendo. i can just imagine if an ayala mall would be put up there, it would really complement the great location. another CBD within a CBD would then rise.

as of now, i'm still dreamy of things...

sana nga ma-push through na...

when i went to the office of club south pacific at around 5:20pm, i talked to the manager. she said that the resort's operation will be on 2011. they want to open it when the Laguindingan International Airport will open. as for the high rise as seen in their rendering, the structure will cater 12 floors of height. as for the prices of their membership, ill post it again since i saved it as a PDF format. im having a hard time uploading it.

just got an update from my friend living in gitagum... he thinks do0n daw malapit sa kanila, brgy.burnay ang proposed csp resort kasi may nabinili na daw na lot dun parang more dan 10hectares. . sabi pa nya palagi daw pumupunta dun ang may-ari ng nkabili na hapon so i guess yun na siguru si mr.shaito yung ceo ng csp pero hindi pa to confirmed though bsta may clearing na daw ang site..:banana:

CSP is a New Zealand based company. if its a japanese CEO who went there, then i guess a japanese company is also interested in investing in Gitatum.:)

CCP buildings still look "regal" maski walang paint, this Gaisano on the other hand looks derelict esp sa pic above (sorry)

pero mabuhatan pa man siguro nag paagi although not necessarily aluminum panels (I wonder unsa itsura sa mga aluminum clad buildings years from now pag nag start na ang effect sa wear and tear and aluminum clad buildings are already a dime a dozen)

^^ gagawin na yung entrance na iyon into another stall area. Hindi na yun gagawing entrance area.

However, for people coming from the carpark, there are entrance points at the second floor of the car park and the succeeding floors. The one's from the first floor can enter the mall through the 2nd floor entrance from the carpark area by using the stairways.Yun nga lang di pa na-utilize yung entry points na yun. Perhaps, when the mall is fully opened with the 3rd and 4th floors finished.

Club South Pacific soon to be Misamis Oriental’s most luxurious resort-hotel (http://www.mindanaoan.com/2009/02/13/club-south-pacific-soon-to-be-misamis-orientals-most-luxurious-resort-hotel/)
February 13, 2009 by Taga Mindanao

“Living Life To The Full” - this is what Club South Pacific Philippines promises its members and guests. And just by the looks of this multi-million, visually attractive project in Gitagum, Misamis Oriental, Mindanao, Philippines, you know that it’s all set to deliver.

I had the utmost privilege to meet and chat with Mr. Shinnosuke Saito, the Founder and Chairman of Club South Pacific, a few days ago. Mr. Saito, who’s the first Japanese citizen to be inducted in the USPGA as a golf professional (amazing, eh?), was obviously so thrilled to talk about the project that I also couldn’t help but be very passionate and excited about Club South Pacific myself. In fact, I look forward to the day when I could bring my trusty Nikon camera and just take a ton of photos of the place or indulge on a commanding view of the sunset from the dolphin-like clubhouse. Club South Pacific, located just 15 minutes away from the New Laguindingan International Airport and roughly half an hour away from Cagayan de Oro City, will feature a five star resort-hotel with 120 luxury suites, a 350-room luxury condominium-hotel (condotel) and perhaps the much-awaited icing on the cake - a marina.

Construction of this mega complex will be in two phases.

Phase one, which is estimated to be completed in the year 2011, encompasses 120 luxury suites with generous dimensions of 40 square meters, 60 square meters and 80 square meters as well as facilities to suit just about every leisure seeker’s fancy - spa, scuba diving services (Aqua Sports facility), fishing facilities, gym, swimming pools, restaurant, coffee shop and conference/function halls.

Phase two, on the other hand, covers 350 oversized hotel rooms and condominium residences that include one, two and three bedroom condotels as well as lavish penthouses. Additional amenities such as conference rooms, function halls, business centers and music rooms will be included under phase two. And of course, the spotlight will be on the marina - which will cater to people who love to cruise or just spend a lazy day on a small boat and try to catch fish.

As of now, CSP Philippines is offering various membership packages to interested parties.

Individual membership will only cost Php150,000.00. This is the JOINING FEE and MEMBERSHIP IS GOOD FOR A LIFETIME. That’s roughly US $3,300.00 or 4,479,900 KRW (South Korean Won) Quite a steal, if you ask me, especially since the amount will increase fast as soon as construction begins THIS YEAR. Individual membership is also transferable and one membership card will be issued to a nominated member.

Interested to be a member of Club South Pacific yet?

And to sweeten the pie, Club South Pacific Philippines is even offering a special DEFERRED PAYMENT SCHEME. All you need to shell out is a 30% downpayment of P45,000.00 (US $780.00 or 1,343,970 KRW) and the balance can be paid in a period of 30 months (P3,500.00 per month) The monthly installments are interest free. Spot cash payors will enjoy a whopping 20 percent discount (this is applicable to the first 100 applicants only). Exactly what do you get out of an individual membership? You can use the swimming pool for free, use the state of the art fitness gym for free, you get two free nights on accommodation per year, a generous 50% discount on accommodation for extra nights of stay, 20% discount on food and beverage as well as preferential rates on resort facilities. A very attractive offer, don’t you think so?

If you’re interested to join Club South Pacific, CONTACT ME TODAY and make a worthwhile investment! Remember, all membership packages are GOOD FOR A LIFETIME. Mindanaoan will guide you through everything you need to know about Club South Pacific, the rules and regulations, upcoming projects and updates. Please don’t forget state your CITIZENSHIP AND LOCATION when you contact me.

There are also other membership packages such as family membership, open membership, group membership and business club membership. Each Club South Pacific membership package promises amazing perks and treats.

While Club South Pacific may be located in Gitagum, Misamis Oriental, Philippines (a resort hotel near the new airport in Northern Mindanao), it may interest you to know that you can enjoy certain privileges through CSP’s affiliate companies Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels, Waterfront Group of Hotels, Pryce Plaza Hotel Cagayan de Oro and Cebu Pacific Air.

So whether you’re from abroad and you want to look for a resort hotel in the Philippines that could cater to your discerning taste or if you’re a resident of the Philippines who wants to invest in a condominium residence near Cagayan de Oro City or near the new Laguindingan International Airport, you will be delighted to know more about Club South Pacific. You’ll soon discover that it’s a perfect investment in what Mr. Saito believes to be the last paradise on earth.

That’ll be a treat for sure.

malamang mas mahal ang monthly fees sa Alegria... so I think better ang teak. :D

it would seem that way because what i noticed from expensive subdivisions is that they also have expensive annual contribution. this contribution is for the salaries of the security guards, garbage collectors, maintenance and so on and so forth. its usually calculated in terms of the lot area that you have. for instance, the lot you bought is 400sqm. assuming that the contribution is Php20 per square meter per year. that would mean the Php20 times 400 square meters equals Php8000. Php8000 would be a single lot owner's annual contribution.

In fact, I look forward to the day when I could bring my trusty Nikon camera and just take a ton of photos of the place or indulge on a commanding view of the sunset from the dolphin-like clubhouse. That’ll be a treat for sure.

Club South Pacific is very close to Laguindingan international airport. the said airport will open on 2011. as for CSP, it will also open on 2011. ayala donated some 94 hectares to the government because the entire plan of the international airport relied on some land that is owned by the Ayalas. this maternialzed but a contract was forged allowing only Ayala to do business within Laguindingan international airport. since the owner of CSP cant put their project within laguindingan international airport, the owner decided to put it in Gitatum which is right next to Laguindingan

Ayala Land Vismin gungho on property developments

Ongoing

The entrance gate to the property has been completed, and work is ongoing on the underground utilities, said Jeanette Japzon, corporate communications supervisor of Cebu Holdings Inc. (CHI), which is part of the Ayala Vismin group.

The Chapel in the Grove will be the first vertical structure on the project, she said, aside from the gate. The clubhouse may follow.

The residential project, perched on a highland plateau overlooking the Macajalar Bay, encompasses 53 hectares.

Another project

Beside it ALI will build a middle-income project, which has yet to be launched, he said.

ALI’s high-end projects like Alegria Hills in Cagayan de Oro City and Amara in Catarman, Liloan, Cebu have the stamp of the Ayala Land Premier brand.

Over in Negros Occidental, ALI is now on the third phase of another project in the premier category, its Ayala North Point located in Talisay City.

That project is now on its 11th year, said CHI’s Japzon.

Adjacent to it is the Plantazionne Verdana Homes, which carries the Verdana brand, the brand for ALI’s middle-market residential subdivisions.

So yung Verdana ba ang next nila i-launch? located kaya ito sa tapat ng alegria? magkano kaya ang price ng mga bahay dito?

Ayala firm sees CDO buyers to push up
Wednesday, Oct 15, 2008

Cebu Holdings Inc. (CHI) is optimistic the affluent residents of Cagayan de Oro City will further perk up sales of it high-end subdivision project here.

The first phase of CHI???s Alegria Hills subdivision is already enjoying warm interest from buyers in Cagayan de Oro, company president Francis Monera said.

"We are very happy with the sales considering this is a new market and new product for Cagayan de Oro," Monera told the BusinessMirror.

Marketed under Ayala Land Inc.'s high-end Premiere brand, Alegria Hills covers 120 hectares of mostly uphill land overlooking the city and Macalajar Bay. The Subdivision is also just a few minutes from the airport and the heart of the city.

Monera said it is high time the Ayala group makes its presence felt in Cagayan de Oro City which is considered a major business, manufacturing and transportation hub in Mindanao.

"Cagayan de Oro is a very progressive city and we want to be a part of its success," he said.

CHI will set aside 70 hectares for high-end residential units, while the rest are being set aside for core-middle segments under Verdana brand.

CHI manages Cebu Business Park in Cebu City as well as high-end lighthouse community Amara in northern Metro Cebu.

Gitagum is not bad at all to locate a five star hotel like CSP, mas maganda nga at least hindi magiging concentrated sa isang area ang mga hotels, yong mga ayaw sa city at gusto ng mala paradise at tahimik then this is really a perfect place for them. Malaking tulong din ito sa economy ng municipality of Gitagum.

That’ll be a treat for sure.
