It is also the ancient capital of three chinese dynastries.
It has been the most prosperous and richest area in China since middle age.
Hundreds of famous scholars,artists and rhymists were born and once lived here. They walked on the street here and drank on the restaurant here.After they were stoned,they usually worked out some famout poetries.

lol, i doubt he is a native chinese, because the first of ancient drawing pics not discribe hangzhou city, but kaifeng city in henan province nowadays.
